It's a wonder there is no national uproar or major investigation into this company portraying itself as a bank. From the moment we opened an account it was downhill. We sent £330 from our Stripe Instant Payout account to Cashplus, it did not show. We rang three days in a row (waiting 30minutes for an answer) to be told it looked a risk so they returned it to OUR Stripe. A client then paid £115 into our account, it was refunded to them. Why even bother opening the accounts only to hold onto people's money. Of course, if they bother to respond it will be the generic 'for security reasons'. Yes, it's risky sending money from one's Stripe account to one's Cashplus! The only risk is Cashplus!

We have had the same experience as others. Account closed even though all documents provided. We cannot log into our account, we've been shut out. No money going in or out, all payments are being returned. Our business is open 7 days a week so that is an awful lot of transactions. The customer service dept is absolutely appalling. They cannot answer any of your questions but will not transfer you to another dept or a manager as they are not "customer facing" All they do is apologise and say they will pass it on....they even promise to escalate your problem, but that's just not true. They never call you back, you have to chase them, and you get told different things every time. We were told our account was frozen and Sara told us it would be sorted within 2 working days...absolutely not true, our account is closed we found out 2 days later. Here is the best part, our accountant told us to withdraw our money immediately and find an alternative bank....we have been advised that this could take up to 6 weeks!! My business is going to massively suffer for this....I can't pay my staff or pay my suppliers. We're going to have to take out a credit card to pay everyone until this is sorted. This is not good for your mental or physical health. If I can help other businesses out there, please, please DO NOT USE CASHPLUS! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. I'll be contacting the BBC and considering the Police, this can't be legal.

My account is Suspended with no discussion…
Had an account with them for 18months and no problems. On Jan 4th I got an email saying they had tried to contact me (they hadn’t) and my account is Suspended. No reasons given. 3 weeks later they say I must let them have my Charity number- I told them I’m not a charity. I remain Suspended, cannot pay or receive money so I asked them to close my account. I’ve been told to send them a lot of detail by 26th February and my account will be closed on 26th March!!
Avoid at all costs- you cannot speak to anyone, you can write to their Complaints but they do not reply and now it will be 3 months where they have my money and I cannot access it.
If they read this perhaps they will reply. Be a change.

Has anyone else noticed that only reviews that say nice things about cashplus get a reply. Well I definitely won't get a reply back. What I will say is, I've got bills to pay so unfreeze my account and give me my money back. It wouldn't surprise me if you were the scammers that put me in this situation in the first place
Disgusting Organisation and steal money
Blocked business account for absolutely no reason and refused to discuss why or how we could get whatever the reason was sorted. Have no access to funds to run business, all inbound payments returned which has reduced business income this month by £8k. Total amount taken by Cashplus is over £21k. The email received states to contact them to discuss and when you contact the supposed CS states they can’t help. When I asked so how long…. How long is a piece of string! When I asked for advice on how I am able to sort whatever the situation seemingly was….. you can’t! When asked for advice on how I pay 36 staff….. We can’t advise how to run your business…. Google it! Should were masks the lot of them. Basically destroyed my business in one day and 36 other peoples lives as they can’t get paid.

SCAM! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! They have been reported to the ombusdman, newspapers, watch dog uk and there are numerous petitions to get this company shut down. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. As soon as you deposit funds they freeze the account without any notice. They will say its for security / money laundering checks/ technical difficulties however this is a lie. Once they have your documents and 10 working days have passed its as if the account never existed and your money is gone. The customer services are horrendous. Its very to easy to open an account with them so please be careful and don't use this bank. They are commiting Fraud and soon will be shut down!

Terrible service, can't accept cheques, systems can't pay facebook for advertising etc, card wont work to pay google ads either. Customer services never have a fix and can do NOTHING. We are leave, banking with them is costing me money.

Absolutely awful service. Will drive you mad; systems don't work; will keep you waiting for ages when you try to sort anything out; and then customer services unable to help (just go round and round their own non working systems). A complete shower and waste of time and space.

I have had my cashplus account for a few months on the 17th of October my account was frozen for more ID (same as what I used to open the account with!)I sent the documents they ask for the same day they froze my account. I was told it would be solved within 10 working days, today is now the 27th November. I have not had any access to my money I have recently started this small business from home but haven’t been able to take any payments for over a month! Everyday it’s being escalated.. escalated to who? Because if this was the case this would have been sorted weeks ago, John the manager there needs a new role he clearly don’t have a clue how to manage these sort of problems! Customer services are a waste of space and just keep repeating and say the same thing! I am going to make sure I go above and beyond to get this sorted YOU HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY!!!!! My next step is going to the newspapers and financial ombudsman because your complaints team are as good as customer services!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

we run a very very succesfull Entertainemnt company, we have had an account with Cash Plus for just over 12 months, we work closely with our suppliers and have a 7 day turn around on account, so we pay them Weekly, on 2nd november 2023 for no reason our account was suspended, this has caused the following.,
.1. trapped our funds in their account, with no real explanation why our account has been suspended.
.2. stopped all incoming finance, so in just over 12 days we have taken over £5000 in debit/creidt card payment and now do not know where this has gone
.3. direct debits returned so costs on these amounting, and causing major problems. ie Business insurance on stop and other problems.
.4. due to suppliers now overdue, from 16th November we are on stop wirth supplies so will have to close our doors, until the problem is resolved,, but by then we are toast.
5. We have supplied all paper work asked for, then come back with excuses like a photo not clear enough, or not right docs, Weve had this account over 12 months and passed all these checks then.
We have today written to FCA // Banking Omsbuson // Written to BBC Watchdog, // and after 30 days with no resolve then we will go to the police as it then becomes theft/fraud.
All platforms are being informed of our problems and we will repeat regular on a weekly basis so others dont fall in to the same Money Pitt.

Beyond words and crying out for help. No access to my account since October 24th. 60+ calls made and zero response to the complaints emails. Bad practise. Customer services have no authority over your account. Things get escalated to the invisible man. Please get in touch. I have every call recorded and log of each person I have spoken to each time. 21 days and counting. It’s sickening.

They have frozen £300 of my money after requesting a random ID check without warning. They make it very difficult to upload the documents while they have fun with your money. For a bank that operates on apps - they expect proof of address to be provided in document or pdf form - don’t most of us now get our bills and statements online? Their customer service staff are useless and rude and they do not reply to emails. They clearly have contempt for their customers.

This is a joke of a company. They blocked access to my account because of a legitimate refund to my account. After providing them with all the necessary documents, they still refuse to reinstate my account. They are refusing to close my account or let me have access to my account. I have over £10,000 stuck in this account and I don’t know if or when I will get my money back. My business is about to collapse because of them and they are ruining my life. Please please please avoid them and don’t make the same mistake as me. They only have a useless customer service team and you can’t escalate the matter to anyone. Seems like a fraudulent company, will complain to the financial ombudsmen now.
