Next day arrival of order (rear dash camera pads) which we needed after refitting- excellent service thank you.

I requested an improvement for my damaged suction pad for my existing dashcam which was frequently falling off the screen. They very kindly suggested a more permanent arrangement which is neater and which they sent to me a few days later.

Parts are great. Packet containing parts was not sealed when delivered. It was open. Royal Mail had it secured with an elastic band

Why request a review before the item has actually been delivered?

Spoke to the online helpdesk and determined a new battery was required for my dash cam, confirmed that Nextbase would deliver to mainland UK addresses. Ordered the replacement battery quite easily and thought, great!
Shortly afterwards my order was cancelled with the following contained in email “Unfortunately, due to shipping restrictions in Scotland, we are unable to ship lithium batteries to you. Please accept our apologies for this.“. This is after confirming UK mainland delivery was available. I requested more information as to whether it was additional costs or courier restrictions and was promised an email explanation after consulting with a colleague, I am still waiting. Other companies have delivered replacement lithium batteries without issue, I can confirm that my address is firmly attached to the UK mainland and I do not require an aircraft or boat to reach it from the mainland.

Easy to place the order which arrived quickly.

Great service from Next Base, I had ordered a rear cam (512gwrc) to work with my 512gw along with the cable, and after I ordered the parts separately, I realised I would have got both as a bundle and save £5, £5 is not a lot but helps pay towards the leccie and gas bill nowadays.
