My experience in Taghazout was honestly better than I expected.
I came for the surf, but what stayed with me was the atmosphere. The waves were consistent and perfect for my level, but what really made the difference was the people. From the first day, it didn’t feel like I was just another guest. It felt like joining a small community.
Mornings started with surf sessions and fresh ocean air, afternoons were relaxed and easy, and evenings were spent sharing food, stories, and laughs on the rooftop. The instructors were patient and supportive, especially when the waves got bigger during high season.
Taghazout itself has a calm energy. It’s simple, authentic, and focused on the ocean. No pressure, no rush. Just surf, good people, and beautiful sunsets.
I would definitely come back, not only for the waves but for the feeling of belonging that I found there.
