Dealing with Julia at Lawrence point in Eastwood, Julia has been nothing but amazing from day 1, accommodating time slots for us to view the property, choose our deco, giving regular updates, answering any questions we have, always bright, bubbly and welcoming. So far such a pleasant experience.

Visited the development at Jackton Green. Meeting with sales advisor Cheryl was very pleasant and informative. Well worth the visit.

Andy Jones from Avant called to sort out a few minor problems when we moved into our new Avant home in Penicuik. He very quickly and efficiently dealt with these.

This review is in relation to Dave MC who came out to rectify some of the issues highlighted from our snag report. Dave was very friendly and chatty, went through the jobs on his list at the beginning of the call and again at the end to ensure we were happy with the work carried out. Tidied up after himself and complete work to a very good standard

Cheryl was fantastic, answered all questions and made our first time buying experience feel very easy.

Thank you Andy Jones for being so exceptional, professional, yet friendly and kind. The thoughtfulness you put into your work and how you go above and beyond to deliver is world class. Review relating to aftercare team - Andy and Paul have attended to a number of snags at our property since moving in and have done a fantastic job at the defects remediation work. Always show up on time, complete work to a high standard, are polite and a great laugh.

me and my partner are first time buyers and are buying our first home with Avant homes . our sales advisor Hannah has been absolutely amazing the whole way through , she has answered all of our questions and broken down everything explaining all of the paperwork and financial costs. She has made the whole experience very easy and has been lovely the entire time ! recommend her to anyone 🩷

Great customer service started with Caroline at Darach fields, she is super helpful & positive. We really enjoyed working with her. The move was made super easy and even though we had a few touch ups with the house after we moved in, Andrew (site manager) and the team were very helpful with can do attitude. Can not recommend enough Avant homes for great houses and the neighbourhood.

Laura at Smithy Wood Gate was so welcoming and helpful showing us what was available. Beautiful homes to create lasting memories.

Myself and my mother cannot thank Vivienne at Craigowl Law, Dundee from Avant Homes for her person-centred approach and service these past few weeks. She has really tuned in to what we’ve been saying we needed, and negotiated a very reasonable deal for us which we are extremely grateful. Such lovely service from the whole team also - very respectful, professional and focused on delivering what the customers are hoping for :)

For the first time in a whole year we had a slight problem with Avant customer care. Normally its a 10/10 service but this time something didn't go quite right.

We had an shower tray that was incorrectly fitted and when the team came out to inspect it, they agreed that it would need to be changed.

We were given a 2 week max time frame to fix the tray, then for some reason turned into 6 weeks?

Once the team booked in the job, not all the trades people turned up which delayed the job and had a knock on effect from a 2 to a 3 day job.

Thomas the site manager came round and we managed to sort it all out. His total professionalism and expertise, along with the magic Joiner Andy Jones got the job completed straight away.

Andy Jones is a breath of fresh air when he comes in the house. He is always smiling and we have such a laugh which made the a massive difference to a slight mess up with the job in hand.

But hey ho, we all make mistakes. I am 100% sure it will be a small learning curve and no harm has been done 🤘🏻.

Darren visited us today to do some work he was very friendly, clean and tidy
He did an excellent job and also cleared up after himself
We would be more than happy for him to do more jobs in the future if needed

The word ‘vocation’ is often applied to people who work in the N.H.S or members of the emergency services; maybe it also applies to this person.

Laura Renshaw at Avant Homes’ Smithy Wood Gate complex is a true asset to the company.

Right from the first time I met her to talk about buying a home on the development, she was totally invested in the process...but also in the consuming procedure connected to me buying my first home for more than 20 years.

Always on hand to answer a stupid question on the phone and also great at thinking of the issues and options you’d never thought of, Laura was there and on-hand every step of the way right - from the off.

Sincerely friendly, pragmatic, understanding and a great communicator, this is the kind of person you want to deal with – especially if this is your first home-buying-experience or you’re very, very rusty.

As with these review pages, I could easily say I would definitely use Avant and Laura again...only I don’t plan on moving house again for a very long time.

Thank you for everything, Laura, and all the little finishing touches you provided...which goes to prove working for Avant and connecting customers to their new homes is far from just a job for you.

Oh, and the finish on my new home was also excellent – as is the after-sales service.
