We stay in the Craigowl Development and have always had excellent service (and great chat) from Andy Jones when coming by to fix any snagging. He’s always upbeat and approachable, which paired with his high level of service provided, makes him a real joy to have round ☺️

We had Alan and Jim at our place to fix the cracking noise in stairs, they done good job for fixing it. They have cleaned the place afterwards as well, also they were friendly and also helpful to fix small other problems as well which wasn’t in original ask

We part exchanged our house to move to Hacket Grange. Keiran Wilmot made the whole process easy. Efficient communication, clear information provided at every step. We needed more space and the PX meant this was able to happen quicker without being in a chain and the longer buying/selling timeframe. The from viewing the show home to completion was seemless. Thanks Kieran!

Smithy Wood Gate - Reservation Process with Laura

We’ve been waiting for this site since 2023, so reserving our home was a really exciting moment for us. Laura at Avant was fantastic throughout the reservation process. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient, making everything feel smooth and straightforward from start to finish.

Laura kept us well informed, answered all our questions clearly, and made what could have been a stressful step feel easy and enjoyable. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping us secure the home we’d been waiting for.

Overall, it was a great experience, and we’re really grateful for Laura’s support and efficiency during such an important step for us.

I've recently reserved my new home with Avant Homes at Westward Green, Willington. I went into this with little hope or expectation after being messed around by other developers in the local area. My first contact was by phone and email with Julie who couldn't have been friendlier and arranged an appointment to come and see the site. The site itself is a great location, only 6 miles from Durham and offers a good variety of house sizes to choose from. Nothing is too much for Julie who definitely goes the extra mile whenever there's something to sort out and explains everything very well. The site manager Keith is friendly and approachable and always willing to answer the many questions I had! A special mention to the atmosphere you get when visiting the site. The working relationship that Julie, Keith and Michelle share is fantastic and brings a real human element to the whole process. I have no issue in recommending Avant Homes and I'm very much looking forward to moving in!

I recently reserved a home at Jackton Green with Avant Homes and wanted to share how positive my experience has been—particularly thanks to the sales team, Cheryl and Jenn.

From the very beginning of the process, Cheryl and Jenn were professional, approachable, and extremely helpful.

We have recently started the process of purchasing our first home with Avant Homes at their Hackett Grange development. Initially, we were finding the process quite overwhelming and nerve wrecking as first time buyers, however Avant Homes, and our sales advisor Keiran, have made the process as smooth as possible. Keiran always made time for us no matter how busy he was with other appointments/clients and went out of his way to give us plenty of time to view the homes, provide us with all the information we needed regarding the next steps/process and answered any questions we had - no matter how big or small. We really feel like we have had a personal touch throughout of journey, Keiran has made sure the process is smooth and everything is right for us, we look forward to continuing our journey with Avant Homes.

My daughter is buying on another Avant site, but Amy has been amazing let us view the house type she has selected even though it’s not finished fully.
This has given my daughter and just as importantly my wife confidence she has selected the right house.
Numerous calls and a couple of visits Amy as been an absolute star and really put our minds at ease with our daughter’s choice. Thanks Amy.

We purchased our Avant home in the Craigowl development last October and, if we’re being honest, we’ve had a fair few issues along the way. That said, it’s only fair to recognise the people who have actually made the process easier for us.
Andy Jones has been brilliant throughout. He’s always friendly, approachable and clearly takes pride in what he does. What really stood out was how considerate he’s been when working in the house, especially around our kids’ nap times, making an effort to manage noise and disruption where he could. With young children in the house, that sort of thoughtfulness genuinely makes a difference.
While our overall experience with Avant has had its challenges, Andy has been a real credit to the team and deserves recognition for the way he’s handled things.

Amy at Bishops Quarter was an amazing salesperson. She helped with all of our queries and was always happy to show us round the houses. Thanks for all your hard work Amy it was very appreciated!

My nan and now my family have bought houses on westward green estate. From the very beginning we have had the most amazing experience.
First Julie the sales rep has made the process 10 times easier, she keeps a very relaxed area and has a fantastic rapport with customer. She makes the process of buying a house so much more easier for all customers. For my nan who moved from London to the north east thanks to Julie was able to have the process made easier and less stressful and is forever grateful for Julie’s hard continued work.

Then there’s Keith, this site manager someone who takes care of all customers needs and queries. He is someone who is able to have a laugh and a joke with customers and is also very approachable. Additionally he pushes for the best possible results and if there is any issues he is quick to rectify these.

Finally there’s Michelle, this lady is there for for all the possible issues that have arisen from a new house she is always available and willing to hear out all queries, she pushes for the best results in the house bought. She’s a very valuable member of the team.

Overall the team here at westward green have been absolutely incredible and the very best at the jobs they do. This estate is very lucky to have these people in-charge of the area and it’s known to all residents if there’s any issues they are all available to speak to.

Right from the moment the phone was answered when enquiring, to us being shown around prospective homes, Louise and Tashana have been amazing. So personable, listening to our needs and very professional. Even our 17 month old daughter enjoyed her trip thanks to how lovely they both were whilst we were there. Thank you so much 😊

I am currently in the process of purchasing a new home with Avant at their Cadley Village development.
Hannah has been looking after me. She has been absolutely fantastic; even with me changing my mind multiple times, she has been professional and helpful in every way. We have opted for a PX, which was done within a few days of enquiry.

We've met with Julia our site sales rep a few times now and have had the most human and positive experiences. Not only is Julia a lovely person in her own right, she is fabulous at her job and clearly puts clients at the focus of her work. She has been able to explain everything incredibly thoroughly to us, and help us make the best decision for us and not just for the company based on several back and fourth discussions until we were able to reserve our plot. We've spoken with several new build sites in our hunt for our perfect house, and the best experience has by far been with Avant. We feel so positive moving forwards in our journey to moving into our new house and already know we're going to be well looked after.
