Distance Learning Courses Limited Avis 75

I recently completed my Credit Control and Debt Management QLS Level 3 course with the Distance Learning Center. As I haven't studied for a few years, its always a daunting experience picking this up again. DLC made this process easy as the study materials provided were well laid out and easy to understand. Having a tutor on hand also gave me peace of mind if I was to get stuck on any of the questions or course material. I did end of reaching out for some help and this was answered promptly and in detail. Everything from start to finish - enrolling to completion was seamless. Highly recommend completing any distance learning with this company.

I enjoyed studying the Digital Marketing for Business Course with DLC. The course tutor always responded and was willing to explain assignments I didn't understand. This course really taught me a lot and I am looking forward to booking more courses in future.

I completed my Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning. The course material was well organised and presented clearly. The delivery of the course was highly professional. The support provided was very good.

DLC supported me well while studying a python for beginners course. The course content was well structured and well delivered. As well as being entertaining and interactive. I feel I have learnt what I set out to. Support, when required, was swift and helped to easily resolve an issue that was with my hardware, nothing that was incorrect or unclear about the course.

Solid course structure, prompt email communication, and a great system for learning.

I studied Introduction to Mental health care level 2 the study material was really straight forward and easy to understand.

This is to warn others who maybe are thinking of taking a course with this company. Please do not rely on what you read, I paid nearly £400 on a Maths GCSE course, only to find there wasnt an exam centre within a reasonable distance - yet I was willing to travel 45 minutes from home. These people really dont care, once they have your money - they wont do much to help you. There is a map on their website but it isnt accurate, I tried 14 centres - some were on the map, some local and some on a AQA centre and couldnt find one. If you want to do a Maths GCSE - Do the equivalent and take a Maths Functional Course, quite often other companies do them for free. If I had of known about them previously, I wouldnt of wasted my time and money on this centre. I'm not saying you are going to get this with all courses with them but I certainly wont be using them again. All they want to do is point blame and twist what you say. Customer Service at your worst.

In response to the training centre - it isnt quite what they said happened. Yes they did offer a deferral but at a centre that I couldnt get too as it was in the middle of a city along from the A3 in Southampton, it just wasnt possible as would take a lot longer due to rush hour. But why is it they are the only centre?!! They just arent to be trusted or if you do go with them, make sure you look at the centres beforehand, unfortunately I took their information to be correct.
I was going to take this company to court and got as far as mediation as I feel I'm in the right but couldnt risk any costs that could go against me. Yes my experience was earlier in the year but it's taken all this time to try and sort it out.
Customer Service isnt very good and from my experience, they are an awful company where you can do a Maths equivalent for free both course and exam under the functional skills course with the WEA and some other centres.
The only reason I declined the offer of a free functional skills course with them is because they charge for the exam whereas other centres dont, yet they havent mentioned that there is an exam cost to this reply!
They havent told the truth either going by their response.
Me advice would be to stay clear and to go with another centre who actually cares about their students and wants to help them, not to just take their money.

Halfway through my course with them and have got v high exam results so far. Slides are great for learning, tutors give detailed feedback and are great to deal with! Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I studied the Advanced Python Programming course and it was lovely. The learning materials were really good, and there were working examples to go with every lesson. The support had really fast response and help for any issues as well. I would recommend this for anyone looking to extend their knowledge. :)

My son is homeschooled and used this course (IT Essentials) as a requirement for his ICCE certificate. The 'distancelearning' team are very helpful and my 18 year old son was able to complete this course unaided as the instructions were very clear. The feedback notes by Dave his course tutor were very encouraging and the experience has been both positive and worthwhile. Thank you!

I just completed a Python course with Distance Learning. It was an amazing experience. The course was made as much easy as possible. The tutor was also very patient and always willing to help. I would highly recommend them.

I am having a great experience with this company. The tutor I have replies very quickly, even on a Sunday! I am taking a bundle of courses included in The Web Design Professional Bundle which has been very easy to understand and work through. I highly recommend these guys to anyone. Thank you very much!

They have a very personal approach which is fantastic. I never feel lost in a system as they reply very quickly to all enquiries. Best value for money I have found anywhere for online courses too. The course material is amazing with clear specs and example driven explanations. Very pleased with my experience.

A really informative and easy to follow beginners Web design course, I thoroughly enjoyed all the modules and any queries throughout the course were dealt with a very swift response time, really looking forward to getting stuck into the advanced levels soon

I would not call myself lucky over the year, having slipped over and landed badly. But without the support of my tutor who gave excellent tips and suggestions. I think the painkillers and the mind fog would have won out right with the lack of focus. There was good feedback and pointers. I would be happy to recommend this group to other would be students.

I was interested in their services and have some queries, I contacted them for my queries they handle in too smoothly.

This institution is the best so far, I have recommended them to my family and friends and some of my friends are registered as well. it is cost effective and the flexible payment is the icing. The support team are very helpful, my tutor is the best in the world. Beyond just acquiring the certification, my tutor literally made me go through each topic and let it sync in my memory like if you wake me up from sleep and ask me to explain CQC code of conduct in detail I shall do that, ask me to explain, Equality, Diversity, Discrimination, safeguarding , stages of life and all other major aspect of health and social care including legislation I'll literally train and get paid for it.. 😊 That's the extent she has made me research and understand it. Kudos to all the team.
