Having to give a one star rating seems very generous. We went to the Cambridge branch and ordered the Bailey's corner sofa and a chair. A few days later we checked the order and found it had been ordered incorrectly, when we contacted customer service and were told it would cost extra to amend, over the next couple of weeks and numerous calls we finally got it changed free of charge. In December I rang customer service for an update on the order I was told that the chair would be ready for delivery from end of December and the sofa would be ready in January, I asked them to deliver both together they agreed. At the end of December my wife had an email about delivery of the chair she told them we wanted delivery together again they agreed she also had to sort out about paying as she was unable to do it on the account, At the start of January we received an email saying delivery had been arranged for 15th Jan. On 13 Jan my wife had a call from the delivery depot confirming delivery and asking us to contact them if we had any problems. On 15th the van arrived but when we spoke to the delivery guys we were told that only the sofa was on the van. When we contacted customer service we were told the chair had been returned to the central depot and they had tried to contact us the day before but got no answer, we have no records of a miss call or of a voicemail being left , they told us the chair would be sent to the delivery depot on Saturday 17th, we asked to speak to a manager but were told it would take 5 days for one to contact us . On Wednesday 21st I rang customer service again to find out what was happening about the chair I was told it was at the delivery depot ready for delivery they tried to contact them but got no answer so they emailed them, I also asked why we had not been contacted by a manager I was told that one should have been in touch within 72 hours. On Thursday 22rd my wife had a call saying chair would be delivered on Friday which it was. We were led to believe sofology was the high end of DFS but if this is the case I would hate to know what sort of service you get at the lower end.

Good experience at the Cambridge store, Ryan helped us decide on the best sofa for our needs, encouraged us to go home and re measure to ensure we got the right fit for our room. Now we wait the 10/11 weeks for delivery.

We visited the Sofology Cambridge branch two or three times while carefully checking measurements before purchasing a sofa. During one of our visits, the person who appeared to be the manager or person in charge behaved in a very rude and dismissive manner towards my wife and our friend.
Instead of offering help, he repeatedly told my wife to “go and have a look and select it yourself,” and whenever we asked questions, his tone and attitude were unpleasant and unprofessional. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as customers.
Unfortunately, this experience affected our view of the branch, and two of our friends have had similar negative experiences with the same individual. Customer service should be respectful and supportive, especially when customers are making an important purchase.
Because of this experience, we are unable to give a star rating.

Ryan called to just update me and check on a few of the options that had been specified. Sofa was only ordered last week and already received communication from the store. Very Happy.

The store assistant was very helpful. I was trying to find a pet friendly Tullulah sofa as we have a dog who has destroyed my last sofa with her claws. He spent time going through the materials and stress testing the sample to show how robust the material is. I have finally decided on which type to purchase, can’t wait to get it.
