Kerry at London Bridge is the best teacher! So fun and engaging. I have learnt a lot this week doing eyebrows and eyelashes. It has made me feel so much more confident in working on clients.

I attended a sweedish back massage course today, and what a day we had, I’ve been on some courses in my time but not one like this, it was amazing, we were made to feel very welcome, comfortable. We leant so much from Karen Ward our tutor, what an amazing tutor she was, calm, patient very easy to listen too and very well presented, her demonstrations were clear and very easy to follow down to her clear instructions, thank you so much Karen can’t wait to put all your knowledge into practice.

I recently completed the Beginner Waxing Course at The Beauty Academy. I would like to start by saying that my trainer was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciated her support throughout the day.

However, I felt that the course itself was too rushed, particularly considering that the main purpose of the course is to develop practical waxing skills. I would have benefited from having more time to practise and perfect the techniques rather than moving through the content so quickly.

I was also disappointed that we were not permitted to record the practical demonstrations and were instead required to make written notes. While I understand the importance of taking notes, being able to refer back to demonstrations would have been extremely helpful when practising independently after the course.

I feel the course would benefit from being longer and more detailed, with significantly more hands-on practical training and time dedicated to developing technique and confidence. For me, the practical element is the most important part of learning a treatment and I didn’t feel that there was enough time to properly perfect my technique.

The main positive for me was receiving the certificate at the end of the course. However, I did feel that some of the information and techniques covered were quite basic and could be found through freely available YouTube tutorials, which made it difficult for me to feel that I had received sufficient value from the practical training.

Overall, I believe the course has potential, but I would strongly recommend extending the course duration, providing more hands-on practice, allowing students to record demonstrations where appropriate and providing more in-depth technical guidance. This would give students much greater confidence and ensure they leave feeling genuinely prepared to perform waxing treatments professionally.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe these changes would significantly improve the experience and value of the course for future students.

I had such a brilliant experience on today’s brow lamination course with Kerry and Jayden. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive throughout the day, making everyone feel comfortable and confident.

The course was well organised, with a great balance of theory and practical training, and they took the time to answer every question without making anyone feel rushed. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and they created such a friendly and encouraging learning environment.

I came away feeling much more confident in my brow lamination skills and would highly recommend training with Kerry and Jayden to anyone looking to expand their knowledge. Thank you both for such a fantastic day!

I had Kerry as my tutor for three different massage courses and she was absolutely amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and has such a warm, friendly personality that makes learning enjoyable.

Kerry is very hands-on with her teaching and always takes the time to make sure everyone fully understands each technique before moving on. She never rushes through the content and is always happy to go over anything again if needed.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few days Kerry is a very good tutor very informative and friendly giving you brilliant little tips along the way. I have just completed the lash tech course which was great value for money in my opinion; I will definitely return for further courses in the near future!

Tutor Chris is amazing and very patient, supportive, and easy to work with. She helped us learn even more and made the whole class feel comfortable, like it was our own place. The environment was relaxed and enjoyable. I will definitely book more training in the beauty industry. Highly recommended!

What an amazing course! Kerry was a brilliant teacher. She was so knowledgeable and showed us step by step each part of the Indian head massage process which we then took turns carrying out with our partner. A very kinaesthetic atmosphere. The classroom atmosphere was friendly, chatty and very relaxed so we all felt comfortable to learn.

She also had lots of hints and tips which she shared with us about starting up a new business and wholesalers, insurance, furniture and lots of other useful information.

I have been on 8 other courses with the beauty academy (Swedish body massage, waxing, intimate waxing, manicure, pedicure, facials, day make up and evening make up). I will use them for any other courses I complete for my business. They are a brilliant company, and Chris and Kerry are fantastic tutors. Thank you!
