Richer Sounds - Eton Avis 

First time buyer at Richer Sounds. The staff totally understood my requirements and found me the right package at a good price, including free 5 year guarantees! No upselling. Friendly and professional it will be my store of choice in the future and I have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star review. There was also free delivery and even though there was a bank holiday weekend everything arrived within 3 days.

Popped into the Eton branch for Bluetooth speaker after my trusted Cambridge yo-yo was end of life. The team recommended the JBL flip 7, sounded great. After an evening in the garden it still had 70% charge .

I went to the Eton branch. I was looked after by Tony, he was amazing, so helpful, I was new to smart TV. Tony pointed me in the right direction, recommended a CelloTV that comes with a 7 year guarantee & met my needs, it has good sound & picture quality, it was a good price. It was delivered to my house & I received excellent on going support. Tony went above & beyond with his help. Would absolutely recommend them. My friend had recommended them to me & I was not disappointed.

I called to buy over the phone. The Richer Sounds representative was very professional, friendly and helped me buy the TV I wanted. Speaking with them, I felt confident I was making the correct choice, and that Richer Sounds would make sure I was happy with everything.

As a bit of an audiophile I like researching and reviewing most hifi equipment, even the kit I can only dream about due to the price.
I understand for a shop, the high end equipment is hard to play with and listen too, but for the lower priced hifi equipment I expect it, this is something they should want to do. If I worked in a hifi shop I would want to listen and learn about the equipment I was advising and selling to customers.
Sadly there is a lack of knowledge and experience of the products being sold.
This leaves the customer to make a decision based on internet etc. reviews and not able to confirm there choose with the people at Richer sounds, who could have there trust.
This means you can only use the shop to purchase the kit. This leaves me to wonder, what is it that Richer sounds offers? That is an advantage to the customer over just buying the kit on line.
Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy purchasing kit from a local shop in person; I just wish the shop could provide better information on the options of equipment they are selling.
That is why I think a fair rating is 4 stars.

Good price and excellent customer service

I originally purchased the REL TZERO MKIII but didn’t find the bass deep enough. I contacted James at Richer sounds Eton and he advised me to upgrade to the next model which is the REL TX5. Massive difference the bass is a lot deeper great recommendation. Thanks, James amazing service.

I dropped by the Eton store without an appointment a was able to discuss relative merits of two steaming amps I have been considering for some time. I was given excellent advice and a demonstration with various speakers to highlight the relative strengths and weaknesses of the equipment.
Very relaxing and enjoyable and James & Team super helpful. Strongly recommend a visit!
