Refreshingly old school, excellent service. Worth not fishing around for minimal savings to benefit from the top customer service on hand. In person, online or on phone. So appreciated, particularly as there were issues but never felt unheard or unsupported by the awesome Swiss Cottage team!!

I was really impressed when i called Richer Sounds @ Swiss Cottage. Paul did a great job and explained options. When i had reached my decision, Paul explained the purchase process. My new device was delivered on schedule and works straight out of the box. I will make a point of calling Richer Sounds @ Swiss Cottange when i need to upgradee

I visited the Swiss Cottage branch of Richer Sounds to purchase a turntable, amp, CD player and speakers.

I had done some research online and read various reviews of the equipment I was in search off. So, I visited the store on August 30th and spoke with Oli and asked to hear the Argon turntable. Wharfdale and Dali speakers paired with the Marantz PM6007 amplifier.

Oli and Paul did the set up in the listening room. Oli talked me through the best options and how best to setup the equipment at home. I opted for the Wharfdale Diamond 12.1 bookshelf speakers as I wanted to hear the thud of the bass line.

I also purchased the Argon turntable in walnut, the Marantz amp in black, the Marantz CD player 6007 along with speaker cable with banana plugs created by Oli himself. I also bought some cables for the CD Player.

I really found it helpful to listen to the set up in advance of purchase and the detailed information and knowledge provided by Oli helped to make my decision very easy.

Once the equipment was delivered I had an issue with the set up of the turntable and the amp as the music coming from the vinyl through the speakers was very low with a loud hum. I called the store and spoke with Oli who helped to troubleshoot over the phone.

He identified the problem was the stylus as it was loosely sitting on the turntable arm. He sent me a You Tube video to help get it sorted but by then I was getting a bit nervous about accidentally damaging the stylus seeing as it is a bit delicate.

So, I packed the turntable in the car and drove over to the Swiss Cottage store where Paul helped to attach the stylus securely to the arm. And then Oli helped to weight the arm as I also had problems with that too.

Oli talked me through how to connect the turntable with the amp correctly and to ensure the RIAA switch on the back of the turntable was in the off position.

I was very grateful for the assistance of both Paul and Oli. They helped to resolve a frustrating situation for me. When you buy anything new, you just want to crack on and enjoy what the products have to offer.

Definitely recommend popping into the store for guidance and advice on audio and visual equipment as the whole staff are top notch and know their stuff.

Great company with great people. We bought a big tv which unfortunately had a technical manufacturer issue. Contacted RS and they couldn't have been more helpful. Had a replacement tv within a couple of days. Very good advice and after sales service equals piece of mind on a big purchase. Thoroughly recommend this company.

Oli and his knowledge and support was first class. He tested the projector in the shop with me and I was so pleased he found the product to be an excellent purchase for me. It was a seamless journey from our first talk to taking the projector home. Very happy.
