Safestore - BathAvis 

We had a really good experience here. John was very helpful and a credit to the company. Would 100% recommend them to anyone. Will use them again in the future if needed

Today I was helped by Sarah who did an incredible job assisting me with everything despite being on her own. Always a good experience with safestore!!

Everyone don't be fooled AVOID SAFESTORE AT ALL COSTS!!! Especially the safestore at bath if you're a student. They advertise student pricing for your first 3 weeks then when it comes time for you to pay they will create a whole new price to pay. The initial quote I was told for the first 8 weeks was £58 but then when I went in to pay I was told that it would actually be £112 which is a very big difference. When I asked them about it they just said it was a student thing and it was a good discount but I think anyone with a brain could see that this is not it. Unfortunately I couldn't find another storage place as I had already signed the contract and needed to move out soon. This is highly disappointing and aggravating as I have now had to spend money that I didn't even think to spend. Additionally, I did see something that was like after the 1st 4 weeks you get charged 50% of the initial pricing but that wouldn't even add up to £100 . Or I thought what if they just took the price per week (£14) for the 7 weeks but that still just adds up to £98. Safestore do better and stop trying to extort people that are trying to better their lives!!!!!!

We had the best service from the staff at Safestore Bath. Helpful, courteous and always going above and beyond. Would thoroughly recommend the team.

I was most impressed by Ally who listened carefully to my requirements. She then provided several quotes to match my timing and space requirements. Surprisingly, she carried out benchmarking to competition to make sure we receive the best price possible. A very satisfied customer.

Terrible staff,serious lack of transparency. They will use students as a cash cow and refuse to cooperate,and the reception is especially terrible. They insist on you paying upfront for weeks,saying that they will refund any unused amount of rent. Even closing your account with them is a serious pain.

Do not use the BATH store, they make you take out overpriced and useless insurance and then will not allow a claim when the staff break and steal your items.

Jason White was a star. Accommodated me needing flexibility on a pallet arrival date and length of stay. Plus booked 65sq ft room with options on the day of delivery to increase in size. He found special discounts available so a brilliant rate in the ed. Thanks

These comments are for the Bath store. As a returning happy customer, I found the lack of transparency regarding the fees they can charge shocking. I rented a cage (not a unit!!) for my son’s Uni possessions over the summer. Paid 12 weeks upfront. We were a week late collecting his things. Upon closing the account, I settled the outstanding amount. As this seemed rather large, I had to request a breakdown (wasn’t automatically given with the receipt) and found out I was charged an outrageous amount for “late payment” for the additional week. It was almost 90% of the weekly rental. When I questioned this, the staff kept referring to the T&C’s. The T&C’s are actually vague: “will charge our standard late payment fee based on the length of time the payment is
overdue”, so no amount specified. Later the staff confirmed:” We do have the provision to charge late fees as we see fit during the process in which people are in debt with us, the amount of which changes dependant on the length of time you’re are late paying”.
We were a WEEK late for a CAGE (and never got the letter that was allegedly sent re: late payment)!! Seems like a little cash cow for the store, students be aware!!!
A gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. Instead, the experience left us disappointed and unlikely to return.

Have used Safestore Bath for many years now for our boys storage requirements for Uni . Always been more than happy with the service from Paul , Zach and todays dealings with Andrew … true ambassadors for the Brand. Thanks guys for making it nice and easy 😊

Chris and Paul are totally outstanding at their jobs. I hope the SAFESTORE company recognises just how professional and skilful they are. Thank you BOTH! This SAFESTORE branch, thanks to Paul and Chris is just brilliant - excellent management and any questions I have or had are always answered promptly and politely.
