Safestore - Guildford Avis 

Just dropped off my package at Safestore in Guildford and was met with a warm, friendly smile from Heather and Neil.

From our first discussion with Rachel up to completing our contract, the whole team were superb in communication, help, guidance re size of units, flexibility. In simple terms, a top 5-star service, and costs were competitive.

STAY AWAY! ABSOLUTE SCAM! When we signed up in the agreement it was said if we gave 2 weeks notice, we would get the remainder of the months money back that we hadn’t used-so this is what we did and after we moved our stuff in having made the agreement safestore decided to change their policy weeks after and now refuse to refund the money even though we are no longer using the unit and having to pay for the remainder of the month- DONT USE STAY AWAY!

The safestore in Guildford is managed by the most helpful and cheerful staff.
The team of Rachel, Jack and Luke are always welcoming with a happy smile on their faces, people who actually seem to enjoy their jobs!
It's far better than the other well known brand behind them that is just a faceless box. Highly recommended.

I've been using Safestore Slyfield for 2 years and have found them curteous, helpful and good humoured! Rachel started a week or so before I started using them and has always gone out of her way to make sure that I am satisfied with everything!!
I recently needed to scale down and did a phone round to check prices locally..... they are still the best!

Dealing with Rachel was brilliant, she is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly and really helpful, an absolute delight. Spoke with Neil a couple of times and he was very accommodating with my very up & down schedule, very polite and really helped me out. The units themselves are maintained in excellent condition and are very secure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Safestore especially with the fantastic staff.

Ironically I ended up not using Safestore Guildford but that's partly the reason I'm writing this review.
They were keen to have the business, quick to respond to my enquiry, very competitive indeed on price and basically did everything correctly.
We received the paperwork quickly and all was as discussed but at the 11th hour we very unexpectedly managed to sell a large quantity of the goods we planned to store and thus no longer required the unit.
Luke, who we dealt with, was professional throughout the whole interaction, even taking the news of the cancellation very courteously. Will be calling them first on the next occasion we need to upgrade or change our storage facility.

I went online just doing research about storage costs. Daniel gave me a call within 24 hours as a courtesy. He was very professional and helpful. I appreciated his professional manner and transparency.

Excellent staff! So helpful and friendly. Big thank you to Danny and James who helped my mum and fam with our queries and with no hesitation offering a helping hand in with taking part items that needed to be recycled. Really appreciate all the hard work.

I have my first long term storage at Guildford Safestore. Jez and Zach are fantastic, super helpful, super friendly and nice. The storage area and units are super clean and tidy and bright. Very very good experience and can’t ask for more.
