Safestore - Wimbledon Avis 

THANK YOU to Maiser, at the Wimbledon Gap Road branch. His support when renewing my agreement needs to be noted. It isn't an easy process, no idea why, but his help sorting this out was appreciated. His calm and understanding demeaner got the 5 stars.

Great service! The team in Wimbledon is super efficient and professional. Special thank you to Maiser who was super helpful the other day, he was patient, explained all the details of my new contract really well and made me feel at ease. I'd highly recommend visiting their store. Thank you to Gabi as well for all the follow up emails. You guys are the best.

My name is Sharfin and I recently used Safestore while moving home and needed a place to store all my household items for a short period. When I arrived I was assisted by a staff member named Mr Maiser at the reception. He provided excellent customer service throughout the whole process. He was extremely helpful patient and made sure everything went smoothly while I stored my belongings.
I really appreciate his professionalism and support. Thank you Safestore and especially thank you to Mr Maiser for making the experience stress free.

This company has become very inflexible. Supposed to have a 2 week notice period. I gave 6 weeks, they are going to charge for 6 weeks. Apparently the 2 week period is to avoid paying for the next invoice month. So when you take out your storage you will not be able to vacate at any point short of a monthly period from that date onwards. Ridiculous for a storage facility that charges so much. Need a few more days to line up with move date? That’ll be £400 they do not refund pro-rata. Ridiculous.

Excellent service and help from the guys at the Wimbledon branch. They helped my stepmum move her things from one size of lockup to another with courtesy and a smile! Apologies for not remembering their names!

I do not like writing negative reviews but my experience today at Wimbledon Safestore was unpleasant and this needs to be noted by the company. I cannot fault the staff at the store as they are always polite and helpful. But the store is always understaffed when I visit. There was only one member of staff on duty today. This is not satisfactory for such a large storage facility. I drove to my unit when it was getting dark this afternoon. There was no sign anywhere saying where I could switch on the light. I therefore called the telephone number for Wimbledon Safestore but the one member of staff was on the phone or with another customer so he couldn’t answer. My call was therefore diverted to the Safestore call centre. That happened four times over about ten minutes. They couldn’t send a message but could only call the store on the number I’d been calling so that was useless. I therefore had to drive all the way back to reception and ask the staff member to come and show me where the light was. He then had to leave the reception unattended for quite a long time to come and show me the light switch, which was nowhere near the storage unit and there was no sign. I do not think it is safe for one member of staff to be working on their own or for customers. The signage is lacking and needs to be improved. I do not feel safe using this storage facility.

incredibly simple and inexpensive storage. Easy to park and unload, not too busy. helped me find a decent flat at a reasonable introductory price and walked me through the cancellation process, etc. Highly suggested. Definitely use again.

I’ve been so impressed with Safestore Wimbledon, the staff are so helpful and friendly and made the process as pain-free as possible! I’ll be vacating my unit soon but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use them again. The units are clean and I felt really confident that my possessions would be safe.
