I take my family and grandchildren once a month to Tenpin (affordability allowing!)
But on all our visits, we all really enjoy our fun bowling.
Followed by an hour or so in the arcades section.

Lovely staff, and atmosphere.
So enjoyed by all.

I was bowling with my sister and my boyfriend was really good

There were issues with the lane we was assigned as some of the pins we kept knocking down kept coming back and not counting in terms of our scoring system also I think the wooden floor was beveled as the ball at certain stages just kept rolling into the gutter no matter how straight you threw it

Love going to Tenpin as it is cheaper than Hollywood Bowl and the standards are still great and good deals to get a burger with a game! Kids enjoyed it!

Good price for a package of a game and a burger.
1 game was enough for the kids and it worked out well as a reasonably priced activity.
The kids liked being able to take their picture to be displayed when it was their turn.
The burger and chips were well cooked and tasty and much better than I had expected as they were included in the package price.
It was a bit noisy and overwhelming when you first walked into the venue as there are lots of arcade games and different activities with lights and noise but once on the bowling area it’s fine and you can concentrate okay on the game.
It seemed to take a bit if searching around the website to find the price as the special offers weren’t as easy to spot initially but once I found the package with a game and food it worked well for us. The only suggestion I would have would be could there perhaps be an alternative choice such as hot dog as one of the children doesn’t like burgers and hot dogs are on the general menu so are sold anyway.

Staff were polite friendly and helpful having 3 children with me we were put at a quiet section of the complex which I liked

9 of us came for a game of 10 pin bowling. It was a very good and pleasant experience. We were well looked after and we all enjoyed ourselves. The staff were attentive , polite and courteous Thank you to everyone concerned and we will be back again soon.

The value for money was excellent. We turned up a little late due to traffic but staff where understanding and helpful. We took advantage of the summer saver offer and had a game of tenpin for four and four burger meals and a soft drink all for just under £50.00.
An hour of fun for four at £12.50 per head where else can youget that sort of value. Deffinately will be gping again.

Took our two children for a bowling session. Very good summer offer for one game of bowling plus some food for £26. Really enjoyed it, area around our lane was clean and tidy. Friendly staff on reception.

Arcade machines are good and bowling lanes and setup good, the price of £6.50 for a game of bowling and a burger was ok even though didnt have any burgers left and it was a lunchtime booking but the problem was the quality of the bowling balls is appalling as every ball seemed to have chunks out of them so ball just divated off all the time in a different direction, was a nightmare. Went with 3 young kids so was fun anyways but did spoil it a bit. Pool table didnt have a black ball just 2 white balls which was a bit confusing but nevermind. Still ok day out just could have been better equipment

Music so loud that we were not able to talk to each other while playing

The lane we were given the seats and table were covered in food and sauce, when I brought this to the attention of a member of staff behind the bar she rolled her eyes and huffed. Eventually she came over to clean it but only took away the rubbish and didn't wipe the surfaces on the table or seats. Our food took over 30 mins to arrive which we had to slow our game down to be able to some what enjoy the bowling in some sort of way.

All lanes should be checked and cleaned before being allocated to the public

Booked in advance. Staff friendly. They do need some now bowls though a lot had big dents in them.

Went to Tenpin at Xscape in Castleford and unfortunately didn't have a great experience. They had one member of staff who was dealing with the bowling bookings and drinks orders and it was not enough. It was fairly quiet when we arrived and we went to the bowling bookings till and got booked in. We booked a deal that was available which was bowling and a children's meal for each player as it was cheaper than booking bowling without the food. My daughter has coeliac disease and none of the food options were gluten free, so we asked if we could possibly swap the food and get a soft drink instead but we were told no this was not possible and we'd just have to cancel the food and buy our drinks. My daughter fancied a slushy but we were not sure if they were gluten free, so I asked the young gentleman serving us if the slushies were gluten free. He replied with "ummmm they are low sugar" clearly he did not know what gluten was, so I asked him if he had a list of ingredients for the slushies, so I could check myself if it was safe for her to have. He went away for a few minutes then returned and said he couldn't find a list but that we could scan the menu to check the ingredients. I said do you have a menu and he said "no, there should be one at one of the tables." So we had to leave the till and find a menu to check the ingredients. When we returned a few minutes later to order drinks a large queue had formed, so we went to the back. We eventually got to the front and said can we order some drinks now please and he told us to go wait by another till where a gentleman and his son were already stood. We realised that the second queue he had told us to stand in must be for drinks. We waited in the second queue for 25 minutes whilst he served all the people who had bowling bookings, even serving people who joined that queue long after we joined the drinks queue. We kept thinking surely he'll break off in a minute and come and quickly serve us or radio for another member of staff to assist as we've been here ages but he never did and he only came across once there was no one else left in the bowling queue. The bowling itself was fun but unfortunately it was tainted a bit by waiting around for 25 minutes just to get a drink. They need more staff and better training as the current system doesn't work and it has put me off returning in future.

Easy to book online. Great value for money for the school holidays , as I had my grandsons to entertain .
Very friendly and helpful staff.

Really good games of bowling but been to other places where they have different weight balls which would have helped. Overall very enjoyable 🥳

Good fun time with excellent staff and facilities
