I've been using 4Noggins for years, and it was amazing when Rich Gottlieb built and ran the business. Since it was taken over by Jeff Tomei a few years ago, it has declined badly. Last time I ordered, I received dried up tobacco that had to be thrown away. Of course, there was no reply to any of my messages, and I just had to swallow the loss. You will only get a response when you are placing an order, or spending money. When there is a problem with an order, you will be ignored.

It is strange for a company not to value repeat custom, or to understand the importance of resolving issues, so that a customer can be retained. They operate as if they are going out of business, and are just trying to grab whatever sales they can before the customers realise what is going on. After all, you cannot keep ripping people off, and expect to stay in business for very long.

I see from the other reviews, that my experience is not unique, and I will defintiely not be ordering from here again. I recommend you find somewhere else to spend your money.

Used to be ok, but customer service doesn't care. They have a disclaimer which would stand as your contract is with them not a delivery company.
All they say is it's probably been seized,
Probably isn't the right answer.
Anyway if in the UK avoid as you will loose your shipment and money.

Do not buy from 4 noggins..You will not recieve your product and you will not recieve a refund or a response..Avoid or you will loose your hard earned cash..

Absolute scum of a business...avoid this place at all cost... Does not answer emails or whatever... Took over 3weeks to fill a simple order... Took almost 2weeks for shipper to deliver... Merchant finally filled my order as I had filled a dispute with my bank...

Merchants policy says order will be sent out next business day... Nothing was outta stock with my order or had any items on backorder...

This company should not be allowed to sell to countries where it is illegal…So many people are wasting there money,not receiving product,no correspondence from 4 noggins..This company needs to be looked into by authorities because they are blatantly ripping people off…Mo product means full refund but cannot get a response from 4 noggins…DONT BUY from this mob…

I recently placed and order with 4 noggins. It will be my one and only time doing so. The phone number listed on the website says this number is not taking calls at this time. I used the contact info on the site, no response. Then I replied to a discount sent to me. I did get a response. I was to my order would ship that day or the next day. That was 4 days ago. I have emailed again asking if my order had shipped. Still no response. This is a company that lacks customer focus. I would not suggest doing business with them unless you have a bit of a sadistic nature, because you will be ignored and abused. BE WARNED!

Have used 4noggins in the past with a good experience on both times.

However the latest transaction has been extremely problematic. The item appears to be stuck in Australian customs and has been for four weeks.

Even worse, the business refuses to reply to correspondence on this matter. I’ve tried messaging on Instagram, Facebook, direct email and via their website contact form to find out what’s happening and what actions can be taken. No response. Radio silence.

Other reviews explain that the business changed hands in the last 6-12 months and that things have gone downhill. I don’t think I’ll order from these guys again.

Well after finally getting the right address for delivery my long waited tobacco arrived today. Packaged great and I’m so happy-my wife isn’t but she’ll get over it. Thank you Jeff great job. Brent

Place is an absolute joke. Placed and over, didn’t hear anything for weeks. I reached out and they decided to cancel my order for no reason. Jeff is a joke of a business person and has the worst customer service in existence. Not sure how they are still in business.

Getting Tobacco imported to my country can be a nightmare and a risk. However, i recently got my second order from 4Noggins Without an issue. shipping is pricy (but thats just how it is), however it is almost 90% cheaper to buy from these guys than a local tobacco store.
Not only are their prices unbeatable, their selection of cigars, pipe tobacco, pipe tools and accessories are vast and of excellent quality.
My goods arrived well packaged and in perfect order and will be ordering more in the future.

First time I ordered, no problems at all product arrived in Australia within 3 weeks.
SECOND TIME…… absolutely appalling! Got the tracking number and watched my package get delivered to KOREA!! That was the 3rd of June. I emailed the global postage crew immediately- no reply up until today. I then emailed 4-Noggins to alert them to the issue, hoping they just sent me the wrong tracking number… no reply.
Since then I have emailed 3 times. Tried to contact on FB messenger and even written a negative review elsewhere hoping to get a reply… as I’m in Australia it’s kind of hard to ring.
If I can get this sorted I am willing to give them another chance.

Importing tobacco to Canada can be a nuisance, but they do a great job. The price point is unbeatable, and the variety of tobaccos are delightful. I have now received my third shipment from them within the time window, and am delighted to continue purchasing from them indefinitely. I actually save money off of ordering from them, and that includes when Customs hits my package. I love you America! <3

edit: Feb 13/2025: Have continued doing business with them for over a year since my initial review and I stand by my 5 stars. Haven't had a single issue with an order. Thanks again!

I told him I needed cigars by a certain date, he assured me they would arrive by the date, they did not arrive and now he doesn’t respond to emails,

Couldn't fault them. God flawless.

I wanted to order some bulk pipe tobacco.

You cant ship it to us, it seems.
Reached out to customer support, received no answer (at all).
