So glad I changed to 5 hounds… after years of tummy issues with my amazing little border collie, I bit the bullet and got her on the venison.
Years of her inconsistent stools and a regular grass eater/ vomiter is all but gone!
She is so much better! The improvement was almost immediate!
She loooooves her venison so much. Going to introduce the goat bowl next for some variety.

Aside from that, the customer service has been nothing short of amazing!
Dr Will has been so helpful during phone consults with all my questions. Other team members have been extremely helpful regarding my orders and working out the right amount of food to order for my dogs particular needs.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. 5 hounds is fabulous!

Great quality food. My dog absolutely loves it. I had to change his diet due to a recent diagnosis of IBD and needing novel proteins, so I was pleased to stumble across 5 Hounds by Dr Will. I’ve got my dog on Venison and Goat and I instantly noticed an improvement in his gut health, as well as no more vomiting. His paws were usually always red and this seems to have subsided too. I have recommended this food to plenty of people with dogs. Definitely worth the money.

I've always fed raw food but it was a guessing game to get protein, veg, vitamins correct. 5 Hounds does all that for me whilst providing a fully balanced nutritional meal for my dog. Fergus is a 14 year old Airedale who loves his 5 Hounds meals, his health is excellent and his poo is consistent every day! I absolutely recommend 5 Hounds

The dogs love it nothing is left . They are lean , playful and energetic and their stools are fabulous I can discuss this as I’m a doctor It also seems to help with their hydration as they automatically have water content

5 hounds by Dr Will is a semi cooked dog food that looks and smells like real human grade food. My German Shepherd dog loves it and I’ve noticed that she has a bit more pep in her step - she’s 10 years old. Her coat has improved and is lovely and glossy. Would highly recommend 5 hounds by Dr. Will!

My very fussy eater (Maremma dog) absolutely loves the meals. He does his exiting dance when I prepare his food.
I lightly warm-up the meals, to bring out more flavours. I am so glad to have found = 5 hounds meals. Very professional run company too.

The quality, choice combination is spot on .

I have a fussy Frenchie that is now 1yo, I tried many different proteins and foods,all good quality, but she would only eat them for a couple of days and then turn up her nose, even to the point of going hungry rather than eat them. I finally found 5 Hounds and with a few little quirks at first she is cleaning her bowl every time 🤩 The food is great quality and I'd thoroughly recommend it to the fussiest of eaters. Thank you to Dr Will and the team for the extra help with her diet, I'm so happy that she is happy with her meals and the starter pack is a great way to begin.

My standard Groodle was so fussy with his food. Sometimes would go a whole day without eating his food. He would intermittently have diarrhoea and vomiting. Ever since we swapped over to 5 Hounds by Dr Will he has been so well. He literally licks the bowl clean and anything that falls out of his bowl.
So happy we listened to a dog nutritionist who told us to change to
5 Hounds.
It’s also nice to be able to talk to someone than just communicate by emails. They’re honestly the best.

5 Hounds is an amazing company with the dog’s health and wellbeing at its forefront. Our Golden Retriever is thriving on it and has lost the small amount of weight she needed easily and without being hungry. Her coat and energy are 100% and I was able to cease using meds for itchiness. Great support from the team via email or phone. An amazing family owned business I couldn’t recommend more highly.

My toy Cavoodle puppy has been on 5 Hounds since she was 9 weeks old. She adores it and is a picture of health and vitality. I had to buy slow feeder bowl inserts to stop her from “inhaling” her food as she loves it so much.
She is now 7 months old and thriving. I would never consider feeding her anything else.

My german shepherd boy has a guts problem since he was a puppy, loose stool, ear infection. Multiple vet visited. I spent a lot of time and money to get the food that right for him. Lots of food get thrown away because he won't eat it all top quality brands kibble, fresh cook food from well-known brands, raw diet non of them work. I am so grateful to have found 5 Hounds. My labrador Mya was diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis a couple of years ago. I tried so many foods but nothing seemed to get her blood sugar under control. Being a bit nervous to feed raw food, I discovered 5 Hounds lightly cooked and it was just what we needed. After 4 months on 5 Hounds her pancreatitis was healed and her blood sugar was under control. She also lost weight and at 14 years old is doing amazing!
My Bullmastiff and French Bulldog also get 5 Hounds now. They are both in beautiful condition and we have no problems at all with allergies, skin, digestive and tummy issues. They are all also a very healthy weight as they get the best nutrients and everything their body needs without the massive carb lads from kibble.
This food has been amazing and absolutely worth every cent.

"We have two dogs, one that has had Malassezia Dermatitis (7y.o.) that now appears to be gone and the other (9 y.o.) had a bout of pancreatitis bought on by a food change that was high in price but also unbeknown to us, very high in fat. We were doing a food change because we were travelling with our boys and hoped we wouldn't need refrigeration. Big expensive mistake! Prior to that we had been on a refrigerated food but it wasn't helping our boy with Dermatitis and their poos were like little marbles and the Cavoodle had to have his glands expressed. We met someone in a doggie park who mentioned his journey with 5 Hounds and thought we'd give it a go. We are still transitioning but the support from staff and Dr Will has been excellent. We have noticed poos are better quality. I would certainly recommend to other pet owners that like humans, pets thrive on quality whole foods which impact long term health. Call it preventative health care. It will be great when the packaging sizes are upgraded to better reflect smaller dogs needs."

Adding 5 Hounds pre-made to our fresh food rotation has had a marked effect on both my labradors, aged 8 1/2 and 20 months. I have raw fed my older girl for 7 years, but she is honestly better than she has been for ages - she seems to have more energy, more tail wags, far less gut issues and an even shinier coat. The younger one's yukky poo and gut issues (probably from early antibiotic use) have cleaned up and her gut has settled.
All I have done is swap out cheaper commercial pre-mades or DIY balanced home made to use 5 Hounds then others of similar quality for variety. As I used only 5 Hounds first, I know the positive changes were due to that. Excellent quality, excellent service, excellent results and convenient to use. For me, worth the cost.

I reached out to Will and the team from 5 hounds when I had recurrent inflammation and allergy issues with my Golden Retriever, Ned. He has been on 5 hounds since March and we have seen some great improvements with his health. The team is great to speak to and their service is excellent. Could not recommend 5 hounds more. The quality is great and It’s Ned’s favourite part of the day!

My dog Charli is an 11 year old spoodle. Since Charli has been with us from 8 weeks old, she has had digestive issues. And constant yeast problems in her ears. At least once every few weeks she was have a 24 hour episode of diarrhoea. And she would refuse food on a regular basis.

We have tried cooking her food ourselves, every type of dry kibble for dogs with digestive issues, hundreds if not thousands of dollars on supplements and probiotics over the years. But always she would be ok for a few weeks then back to eating grass and runny stools.

We started Charli on 5 hounds food 4 months ago and we couldn’t be happier. Nothing makes you more excited than seeing your dog do a good poo!! No more embarrassing diarrhoea episodes at the dog park! She finally has a healthy appetite for food! She cleans up her bowl every morning. No more itchy ears and skin. She is a happier dog and it shows!

I highly recommend giving it a go if your dog has digestive issues. I only wish I had started her on this food earlier. Thankyou Dr. Will and team.

My Italian Greyhound Indigo has never really enjoyed her food, I always had to add treats to encourage her to finish her bowl. Not anymore.... She loves 5 hounds and licks her bowl clean.
The first thing I noticed is that the food is very lightly cooked, it still has blood in it. It screams quality, and I love that in includes organ meat. I think this is what separates it from the other similar (over)cooked dog food brands. It must be much more appealing to dogs, as my dog didn't like the other brands.

Indigo has been on 5 hounds for 3 months now and the changes are already very apparent:
1. Her poos are firm, she poops more often and no smell. No more stomach upsets.
2. Her coat is much softer with less odour.
3. Her breath is fresher.
4. Her teeth are cleaner naturally.
5. Her energy levels are more constant. She used to have crazy zoomie episodes but now she's calmer.

Thank you Dr Will for bringing such a great product to market! Indigo and I are very happy, and I can't wait to see the long term health benefits.
