Service & prices or price match was very good

I bought a pair of 100 percent Accuri 2 goggles at 99 Bikes Bentleigh. On the 99 bikes website the goggles are described as having a spare clear lens. The actual item I purchased didn’t have the spare lens. Staff stated they would get the lens in for me. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I went into the store to be told 100 percent would not supply the spare lens. I had the choice of either getting a refund or buying the spare. I just checked the 99 bike website and the description still states the goggles come with a spare lens. Overall this has been a disappointing.

Easy and quick service. Ended up that the store I wanted to click and collect from didn’t have the item I ordered so they happily got it transferred to them from another store.
Great bright pink handle bar covers for my daughter’s bike. Sturdy and well made. Great price too for members.

The staff in the Bentleigh shop were happy to run with my plan of converting my hybrid into an MTB and relished the opportunity to come up with the best tyre selection for the purpose - no pressure to get over myself and just buy a new bike. The guys in the workshop had the job done quickly even though the tyres weren’t available at the branch. Got myself two new tubeless tyres and matching mango coloured valves, and a quick adjust seat post clamp thrown in for free! Can’t wait to speed past the others on the trail next time (at least on the uphill bits!)

I wanted to call out the Dom's in the sales who I purchased a lot of items for both my Road bike and MTB which were great prices. Knowledge was great and recommended some extras which was even better. The Second Dom in the workshop who fixed the MTB just after Xmas thanks for looking after the bike and fixing on the spot. I wanted to call out the mechanics as well in the workshop as you can talk to them on Steel, titanium or carbon across most disciplines which is unusual at the best of times. Great knowledge and work you guys do. Definitely buying my next Roady (Titanium) and MTB off you guys.

Ordering was fine - the pick was very clunky. The item was clearly behind counter and had my name on it but the staff member spent 5 minutes trying to record the collection on their system. Eventually I pushed them to give me the item and they agreed to deal with the system later. Really defeats the purpose of click and collect

Yet to receive as it needs to be ordered from supplier. Have been quoted 7 days, which I have full confidence in. Always buy from an Australian retailer and you won’t be let down. Service from 99Bikes is beyond great! Keep up the great work. Cheers. Mark

Jono and the workshop team at Bentleigh were class. I popped in to change my pedals and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, fitted them within minutes and were very helpful. Amazing!

This is the fourth bike we have bought from 99 Bikes and have always received fantastic customer service. Probably the best service out of any retail store I have been to.

Quick turnaround from order to item being available in store. Pick up process was easy and staff were friendly.

Ordering was easy and product delivered quickly.
Had to swap product for smaller size which was made easy via in store and communication was great

Dropped by today with a bike problem to solve and Dom was just amazing… came up with a much better idea than I walked into the shop with…. Super helpful, kudos Dom.

The staff was amazing. They speak Spanish in 99 Bentleigh. They knew everything and more about racks and light/camera handles. Great job!

Perfect service and a great bike that I just love.

Click and Collect worked promptly and without fuss.

Brought my bike in to have it serviced.

When I came back to pick it up, bike was covered in sawdust. I took it home to clean it, only to find that the fork had been scratched / chipped in two placed during the service.

I had to bring to bike back to have the damage assessed, and was offered a $50 gift card for the inconvenience.

Initially, the workshop had tried to buff out the damage they had made, but the dents were sufficiently deep that the repair was not effective.

Having insistent the damage needs to be repaired properly or the fork be replaced, I left the bike with the shop again. The fork was then replaced, however, in picking up the bike, the dust cap and wheel tool were missing. Coming home, the brake lever had a fair bit of brake fluid spilled inside it (from when the fork was being changed over). This was overall sloppy workmanship.

After all that, the store then informed me that, because I had asked for the fork to be replaced, the $50 voucher was being revoked.

Overall, not a positive experience.
