99 Bikes - Maroochydore Avis 23

We bought a Ravens BMX from 99 Bikes for our 10‑year‑old son. He rides on our acreage—just lawn and driveway—nothing extreme. After only 14 months the sprocket bent and the pedal came off. We were told there was no warranty and that we had “abused the bike.”

We purchased new replacement parts, and within six weeks the exact same issue happened again. When I said something must be wrong with the bike, I was told it was “not possible” and that in 14 years they had never seen this happen. Well, there is always a first time.

To make matters worse, we also took another bike in for a service. We were given a price, but when we returned to collect it, the cost had doubled.

Two times now we’ve been left out of pocket and dismissed. No after‑sales support, no accountability. We will never set foot in that store again.

Purchased online using click and collect. I live in Brisbane was buying a present for a family member living on the Sunshine Coast so phoned the collect store and they approved this purchase & collect. Couldn’t have been easier or more professional customer service, 😊

My purchase item was very simple (a bell), but the process was also simple, convenient and efficient. The staff were also very easy to deal with.

I ordered the folding bike online and was able to pick it up next morning at the shop in Maroochydore. I was pretty reluctantly served by a young lad who seemed just to have finished school. His manners were not customer friendly to say it polite. It took him endlessly to find my order on his computer despite I gave him a print out of my order. Then he again for quite a long time he was searching the bike in the shop. I was patient all the way along. However when I asked him to show me how to fold the bike as I wanted to store it in my car it turned that he not the slightest idea. I finally asked him to get a more professional staffer who finished everything very fast to my full satisfaction. Pricing ok, delivery time ok but be careful by whom you are being served ...it might cost you quite some time and nerves if you end up with someone completely new to this job.

99 CLOWNS @ Maroochydore are a rip off. Paid for an item and told too collect in 2 hours. Meanwhile they message to say goods are now unavailable and I will have to wait. Asked for a refund and they demanded all my credit details again despite having just been paid by credit card online. Unhelpful and rude staff. Still waiting for a refund. Beware.

Bought a new bike. Within a day or so the chain snapped. The shop efficiently changed the chain and replaced it immediately. Very efficient.

As a frequent 99 bikes shopper the level of service at the Maroochydore store was very disappointing. It is an understandably busy time of year but after 15 minutes of waiting and large line forming behind me I had to leave empty handed. It was disappointing and frustrating that in this time not one of the five visible staff members took the initiative to acknowledge the delay, suggest alternative times to visit or apologise for the inconvenience. A stark contrast to the many other 99 bikes store that I have visited over the years.

We were served by Dale, he was extremely helpful, polite and professional he went above and beyond. Thanks again Russell

99Bikes have been a great support for my family over many years and I have recently found the new Maroochydore shop. I am not disappointed as the service continues. Tyre issues, accessories, and general advice is never too much trouble.

Staff were great

Having spent in excess of $7000 with 99 Bikes Maroochydore, on 2 electric bikes, accessories and eBike carrier. I feel that that speaks for its self coupled with recommending 2 friends that spent a similar amount based on our feedback and recommendation. I really don't know what else I can say....value for money and good service is all anyone can want but rarely receives....99 Bikes Maroochydore do it well

I had excellent customer service from the 99 bikes Maroochydore store a few weeks ago while purchasing a new electric bike. The service was polite, helpful and prompt even though it was a very bust Saturday morning.

The pump I bought was sent to my local store to pickup in a very timely manner. I was kept informed of the process by text all the way through. Would recommend to anyone in a similar position.
