Probably with the van but done there best for me

Well what can I say but the first van I brought was amazing for work but after 2 years it was time to get another after me putting petrol in a desila with add blue so it was off to a38 as they were the best in my eyes at the time then I seen one I wonted to by lucke and his dad yes are very helpful in every way and do all they can for you but I was driving to Swindon and lights started to flash and I lost power so rang him as they were flashing and I did not except this lose power anyway he said to bring it back and he would sort it great very helpful leave it with me and gave me a car so I could still work that’s great as he was going to get on it straight away great bloke and his dad and I could of just been unlucky as when I went back he said he done it and if it happens again bring it back as he could not of been honest and that’s what I like but I took it away and the same thing happened again so I took it back so there I go of with another car that he gave me much appreciate and then I have a phone call to say it can’t be fixed and would I like to pick another one well there was nothing in at the price I could afford apart from a big van and I was looking for a small van so I had to leave it but fair play to lucke and his dad for doing there best in helping me out but I’ve came away with out avan but I would buy again from there just a bad luck on the day and I only had £7,000 to spend on a small van so at the moment it’s eyes open for a small van

I called A38 van sales to inquire about a van advertised Luke took my call, initially I wanted to leave a deposit to view in a weeks time but decided an hour later I couldn’t wait I wanted to go there and then so called back and said I could get there in 2.5 hours, on arrival after introductions even before viewing the van the wife and I was offered Tea and coffee, we was left to view the van no pressure it was beyond immaculate inside and out the deal was done , Luke Ryan and dad chatting it was like family these guys know there stuff , I can highly recommend.

Great company to deal with

I bought a range rover from these guys, they were absolutely brilliant from the initial contact to the collection of the vehicle,
I highly recommend these guys and hope to deal with them again in the future,

Excellent service

Excellent service! Had a leak from the awning rail. The van was collected, surveyed, quoted, repaired, and delivered back to site.
We arranged a visit to the workshop to see work in progress and meet the team.
An overall good experience, well done

Highly Recommended !

We live in Mid Wales and very few good Van Sales within our area so took gamble and went online to Auto Trader we searched and searched and found Vans but each one had varying faults ie Dents, marks, worn seats, oily and well worn rear compartments etc, then we came across this particular Van that looked too good to be true for the money, immaculate was an understatement and for the money we did wonder what the catch was ?,, however decided to contact Luke at A38 Van Sales.. Best move we have made ! The response was more than helpful, and Luke even did, and sent a " walk around" Video for us. We decided to go ahead and Buy, a Trade in amount was agreed for our old and "tired" Van. Now the problem was, we live in Mid north Wales and Van was in Bristol, NOT a problem for Luke and he agreed to meet us half way and said no charge ! again, brilliant customer service, Yesterday ( 5 Sept 2024 ) we met, and both my Wife and I were so impressed with the smart, personable, pleasant Gentleman Luke was. Over Coffee, the paperwork was done and Vans exchanged and we went our separate ways. In conclusion, both my Wife and I would like to say what a Credit to himself and his family in this family owned and run Van Sales company, and IF anyone we know is looking for a Van then we would NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND A38 Van sales.

Great service

I have been looking for a pickup for quite a while and I found an Isuzu D-Max with A38Vans not 4 miles from where I live!
I went to view a few pickups and was guided around the lot by both Luke and his Dad, Les. Once we settled on a vehicle we agreed a price which included a trade in of a car. They had the pickup for a few days in which time the vehicle was MOT’d, Serviced and valeted. When I picked up the vehicle all the paperwork was ready to go. The lock on the Truckman roof was a bit sticky and so while I waited Ryan fixed it and also the trim below it.
In conclusion, I’m very happy with the vehicle, and overall service.

First Class Team, Fiirst Class Service and First Class Van

We have recently acquired a Ford Transit LWB Hi-top van from A38 Vans Sales, of Bedminster Bristol. So impressed were we with the service that we wanted to share our experience. Firstly we have over the years bought all sorts of cars from a Nissan Micra and Mini Metro to Landrover and Nissan 4x4s as well as Audi/BMW/Mercs and have had had a LWB Mitsubishi Minibus and Nissan Primaster and we have to say as far back as we can remember the service we had from Luke at A38 Vans was second to none. Why we say this is Luke listened to our needs and addressed them, he pointed out the differences with the vans so we were aware of what we were getting into and how one may benefit us over another. He was in no way ‘pushy’ and did not try to ‘sell us a van’ but rather gave us pointers as to the differences and left it to us to decide what we wanted to do. We had already checked out 3 different van sales in Exeter which in our opinion were sadly left wanting – the vans for sale were in poor order aesthetically and the surroundings abysmal. We checked out a van sales in Avonmouth which was of really good standing with vans well-presented and a clean professional forecourt showing off the vans well. But when we asked for information from the sales person regarding what we were after and differences in spec for different makes of vans etc., as far as we could tell, the chap was clueless – very nice but he didn’t seem to know his stock and what was on offer. So, when we just happened to pitch up at A38 Vans Sales by mere chance as a last ditch attempt to find a van, before retuning back to Devon … yes … we struck GOLD and needless to say within a very short space of time we had made up our mind and settled into an agreement to have the van of our choice.
Okay, so why did we stay with A38 Vans? … let me explain … the forecourt was really clean and there were loads of vans of differing sizes and makes. All the vehicles were really well presented even in their pre-pick up/pre-service state. The ones we looked at in more detail were tidy, had no horrible smalls and looked as though they had already been prepared for collection, so when Luke explained ‘our’ van would be valeted, serviced, have a new full 12 months MOT, to say we were really impressed is a real understatement and added to this Luke gave us a good part exchange for our van.
Now, you can call us crazy but we didn’t test drive the van ourselves but rather went out with Luke … it was around 5.00pm, the traffic was crazy, the van was big and high and it would have been too much for us. It sounded good and seemed to drive easily and well and that was good enough for us.
So, going on to the date of picking our van up … we took 3 ½ hours to get there when it should have been 1 ½ - terrible journey and we were late arriving. Luke, his dad and colleague were waiting for us. Luke sorted out all the paperwork for us and even had our personalised number plates already on our van waiting for us. We gave him the logbook and he transferred our registration details to our van online, sorted out the money and hey-presto we were ready to go. Our van was where we parked up and we could just about see in what was left of the daylight, it looked brilliant, shame we couldn’t have a tour before picking it up, but like we say we were really late arriving.
We got into the van, by now it was dark, had a quick shufty of the controls, found the lights, adjusted the seat etc. and we were ready to go … and then another great touch from A38 Vans, there was a third man waiting for us and we couldn’t believe it, he was waiting for us to pull out so he could stop/slow down the traffic for us to drive off safely – it was freezing cold but he still waited out there for us to drive away.
The next morning we couldn’t wait to get out to take a look of our ‘new’ van – it had been fully valeted and looked brand spanking new and in pristine condition … we could not have been more delighted with it!
So, okay, I know I can spin a yarn but the service we had from A38 Vans Sales warrants this good review and I make no apology for it, and we would recommend buying a van from then … in a heartbeat. They have a cracking team, from the mechanics servicing and sorting out the MOT, the folks valeting it and of course the sales staff, Luke in particular who sorted out all the paper work for us, the registrations and tax etc. so we really had nothing to worry about and our only role was to pay for it – easy!!
A premier team and a premier service and they should be proud of what they achieve and the pleasure they give to ordinary folks like us.
