Nothing was too much trouble. Tom went the extra mile and beyond when he lent us a wheelchair to get to an urgent Dental appointment. Eva was also very friendly, helpful and patient. This was the first time I had to buy a riser chair and the people I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful, informative and reassuring - both in person and over the phone. The two guys who delivered it (Dave and Tom) really took their time to explain the functions of the chair - to my mum - who is suffering from Dementia and has mobility issues. They were so kind and ended up leaving the chair with her there and then- a very smooth transaction indeed. Would highly recommend.

My mother had one of their stairlifts install at a cost of over £4500 She was told it was covered for 6 months should anything go wrong. She was told that the company offer a buy back. Within the 6 month guarantee the batteries failed, leaving the stairlift stuck mid climb. I called the company to be told that the batteries were not covered by the guarantee. I then had to hand crank the lift to the bottom of the stairs. I purchased some new batteries cost £45.00 I fitted these and noticed that the problem was with the lift itself not fully descending to the recharge contract points. An engineer called to fix this. Mother was never offered a refund on the batteries even though it was clearly the fault on the lift that had cursed the barriers to fail in the first place. Fast forward to this year, appointment 18 months from the initial installation, sadly mother past. The company was called to ask about the buy back. We were offered £50.00 Yes £50.00 for the stairlift. Outrageous. Be warned the by back is a complete con as is the guarantee. Never again would I use this company or recommend them.

Excellent service provided by Dave who delivered and demonstrated the bath lift to us. He was really clear and helpful and made sure it was clear how to remove and use the unit. Really nice to have such genuinely helpful service

I visited the Ableworld branch in Hyde. The store is very nice and has lots of helpful aids. I have only recently come to need these things, it’s very new to me but the shop has lots of aids and the staff are very helpful. I was helped by a man called Tom, he helped me into the store and showed me all the things I asked for. He was very helpful so I would like to extend my gratitude for his kindness and his patience.

Recently purchased a powerchair from the Hyde store the service and advice was excellent with no pressure to buy and nothing was too much trouble. We were served by Dave who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

After ordering a new bed for my wife we were told delivery would be three weeks. We received a phone call after two weeks informing us that the bed was ready for delivery. We gave a date and were told it would be a morning delivery. We duly received a phone call that they would be delivering in fifteen minutes. They arrived on time and set up the bed without fuss and we're very polite and helpful. Excellent service!.

It's the first time I have had to think of disability aids..I'm 72 now but suffer with Fibromyalgia so I'm unable to get up out of Bath I take more baths for muscle than showers.
I purchased the Bellavista bathlift from your Hyde Cheshire Store the chap came out gave a full demonstration it is the best thing I
have ever bought.
From phoning in for a home demonstration to the installation was 100% very understanding from all.
I would reccomend them to anyone and I won't hesitate to use them again

Visited The Hyde branch. Discussed renting versus buying. Collection service. Very helpful and rented an adjustable seat there and then for 8 weeks with collection upon my notice. Also bought a grabber which is identical to the one the NHS supply

We contacted ableworld about buying it back they offered us £ 250 ,
This is a totally disgusting and shouldn't be allowed as they will sell again for the exact same price ,
Something be done about it as they are making money out of vulnerable people,

Website states riser recliner chairs can be rented....turns out that isn't the case😕... only deal with OT,s apparently

Not very helpful regarding repairs either.

If there was a higher score I would give it. Visited this store a couple of times and always had great service. Today was best yet. The young man and young lady who were working have amazing customer service skills. Friendly, honest, professional and helpful. They were very patient and gave excellent information. We purchased a mobility scooter and felt happy and secure with our choice thanks to the honest and professional skills showed by both of the staff. Highly recommend this store and many thanks to the lovely staff.

My dad recently bought an armchair from Ableworld in Hyde. We were served by Dave and Beth. We made a couple of visits to the store to try the chairs out and Dave and Beth came to the house to make sure my dad was happy with the choice before committing to a purchase.
