I'm absolutely thrilled with the counselling I received from Accepted. I got in contact with them, telling them about my situation and they put me in touch with Jamie, one of their counsellors based in London. Jamie was nothing short of amazing and helped me brainstorm and draft up my essays and then shortening them piece by piece until my whole application was ready! I would have had a really rough time without her help because we literally went through everything I had ever done and then picked out the best parts! Better yet - I got accepted into Cambridge, my top choice! For just under $3000 in fees, it was 100% worth it for 2 grad school applications, a streamlined grad school CV and a mock interview. Definitely recommend.

I worked with the Accepted Consultant from the beginning of the application process and all the way through to my acceptance letter. The consultant helped immensely with bringing out relevant and impactful examples in my essays, and was then able to shape these into an engaging story. I have recommended Accepted to my colleagues already.

I worked with Karin Ash for my grad school application, specifically the personal statement and resume parts. Karin was an expert at what she does. She caught grammar mistakes, challenged my writing for the better, and overall really easy to work with! Overall highly recommend and would love to work with her again.

Great service from a company that’s been in the business for decades! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Esmeralda played a huge part into my acceptance into the M.S. in Business Analytics program at Boston University and U.T. Austin. She knows the ins and outs of essay structure, word choice, and is amazing at guiding you to ensure you have all the right content for your application, and guiding you to the best schools you are fit for, based on the reach, target, and safety categories. She’s very supportive, but at the same time is not afraid to be critical when necessary, and that is a MUST. Esmeralda always took the time out to answer all my questions in detail and made sure I leveraged my strengths to my advantage. Also, she did an outstanding job as a coach for my interview prep, providing a sample list of questions, mock interview, tips, observations, and advice that I didn’t think I needed….but I did!! My only regret is that I wish I signed up sooner, since I did not find Accepted’s services until I was already halfway through my grad school application process. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Esmeralda for any business graduate school application.
The only warning I will say is this: They do have a 2-3 day turnaround for content to be reviewed, so the entire process of working with them will take a while, probably longer than you think. That being said, if you feel this is the right service for you, the earlier you sign up, the better.

Accepted helped me so much with my applications. I started with two writing packages and then paid for four due to the fantastic assistance I received. Out of the four applications, I was accepted to two doctorate programs. Dr.Mahoney was more than helpful; we completed four writing statements in one week. She was timely and made thoughtful edits throughout the process. Even though Dr.Mahoney did not have a doctorate in Psychology, she was more than knowledgeable about my field and how to stand out in the applicant pool. She made edits related to psychology and person-centered approaches, aspects I had to explain in my statements. I highly recommend these services. Thank you again!

I was an international student applying for masters' programs in US universities. Philippe provided so much help, not only revising my application materials but also gave me advice on how to approach professors. I got accepted into many programs, but more importantly into my dream program at Georgetown University. He was very helpful and very thorough, always making sure that my voice was being heard and expressed in the best possible manner. The things I learned with him go beyond the application process and I will always carry them with me. I would not hesitate to recommend Phillipe to anyone that is looking for excellence.

I felt like I needed the help of a medical consultant because I was a non-traditional applicant and also had a tricky situation to handle, which they assured me they were well versed in. After interviewing a couple different places, I felt this group was the best fit and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the process. However, after I submitted the payment and began working with them, the advice seemed to fall short. I was told that the situation I specifically hired this group to help handle were just minor offenses, so I felt a little mislead. There was also much less face-to-face interaction than I expected, which I suppose doesn't matter to everyone, but I had to send my own company's Zoom link in order to be able to share my screen and navigate. Overall my reason for this review is the shear price. I paid $6000 and for an estimated 5:17 hours of work, I received $4500. These 5:17 hours only got me through two meetings and incredibly minimal edits to my committee letter application. There was almost zero content advice, with the majority of the edits being purely grammatical or technical. Even still, many grammatical or technical edits were not caught, so I really felt this review was useless. I don't think this site allows for screenshots to be uploaded, but it is clear the edits were incredibly sparse. At this point I asked for my refund, to find I wasted $1500. Save your money and ask your friends and colleagues for help. I even called another place after, because I still felt like I needed help I could depend on, and not only were they a few thousand dollars less expensive but they additionally have a much better organized system for helping their students. I hope this helps someone else who feels like they need to throw money at the application process in order to do well- you don't!

I had the pleasure of working with both Rachel and Christie. Rachel for my essays and Christie for my interview prep. Both were truly amazing, and provided unique insight into what each school typically looks for. I was ultimately accepted into my program with a full-tuition fellowship! Consultants can get extremely expensive, so it was nice to have a more affordable option while not sacrificing on quality.

I don’t often write reviews, but I thought that others would really benefit from hearing of my extremely positive experience with the Accepted program. I reached out to Accepted to have overall help for my master’s applications to UK universities. Jamie Wright not only helped me develop my personal statements and CV but also provided me with support in understanding what career path I want to follow, what skills I am looking to get from the master’s and what course fit all of this. With her help I have not only managed to secure a place at Imperial College London for a master’s in Economics and Strategy for Business (which is where I will be going) and other offers at other universities, but she helped me come to the realisation of what I am looking for in terms of master’s course but also career wise afterwards. Jamie was really good at providing really good prompts to make me think and research to get across my ambitions and show myself off in my personal statements and career planning questions. She was always quick at responding to my emails and at looking over and editing the different drafts I would send her. Overall, she had a huge impact on the success of my application process, she went above and beyond to help me succeed. I would really like to thank her for all her work and support and I would highly recommend her and Accepted as a whole to anyone that would like help with any aspect of applications for master’s. Thank you!

Where do I even begin? Firstly, this isn’t my first time working with Esme on grad school applications. She also helped me get into Duke Fuqua’s MMS and UT Austin McCombs’s MSM programs last year. During my grad studies at Duke, I realized that I wanted to take on another, more specialized field of study, so I decided to try for a Business Analytics degree. Naturally, I asked Esme to help me with the process again. I chose to apply to three schools this year (I got gold packages for guidance throughout the entire process) but got my acceptance to UCLA’s MSBA before I submitted the last application. Frankly, we were a little less confident this year about applying in general, since there are so many applicants and I already have a master’s degree under my belt. I also don’t have a math/engineering/computer science background, which is what a lot of MSBA programs are looking for. But somehow, almost magically, I got into UCLA on some merit scholarship. All I can say is, Esme is AMAZING at what she does. The UCLA app was tough, consisting of four 500-750 word essays. I started applying a little less than a month before the second deadline, and upon seeing the length of the essays I was pretty put off and thought that it would be better for me to submit by the last deadline to have more time. However, Esme encouraged me to apply asap, saying that she had confidence in me to turn out an outstanding application. She’s so incredibly responsible in the sense that she doesn't stop pushing you until the essays are as good as they can be, not to mention she's extremely patient and understanding, so there's no shame in being a poor writer. Even after three, four, or sometimes even five rounds of editing, she’ll still look for ways to improve upon the writing. She knows what these business schools want in their applicants and will adeptly bring out all your strengths. Her experience with business-related graduate studies makes her the perfect consultant to go to because she also provides valuable advice on which programs and schools would be the best fit for you. I can say with confidence that if it wasn’t for Esme, I definitely would not have gotten into Duke or UCLA (again, both on merit scholarship (even though my undergrad GPA was not hot)!!) I don’t anticipate I’ll be applying to graduate school again anytime soon, but if I did, you know for sure I’ll ask for Esme’s help again, and if I have any friends who are applying, I’ll send them to Esme with no hesitation. Trust me when I say that it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make toward your education!!

Working with Rebecca Lippman on my Fulbright application was hands down the best decision I made. Her brainstorming sessions were incredibly helpful. Even when I tried to skimp out on them, Rebecca pushed me to really trust the process and the plan that she had laid out. I am so glad I did. There is no way I could have gotten my application to where it was without her help and her ongoing guidance. During each of my reviews and rewrites, she highlighted the places that needed more expanding on, and emphasized the areas that I was getting too technical. It's incredibly hard to step outside your head sometimes and it's important to have someone who isn't in your field read over your application. Rebecca was not only that someone for me, she was highly skilled and knowledgeable about the application process in general. For my personal statement, she ensured that I wrote the best statement that clearly articulated who I was and why I was applying for a Fulbright! I've written many applications in the past, but the Fulbright is a completely different ball game. It required a different type of language and Rebecca helped me learn that language. In the end, I ended up winning a Fulbright to Stanford. But more than simply winning, I actually believe she made me a better writer. She pushed me to reach my highest potential. I 100% say, without hesitancy, that Rebecca is the best Fulbright coach anyone could ever ask for. She's truly gifted at what she does!!

I really enjoyed my experience with Accepted. I worked with Philippe and found it to be a very smooth process. I was held accountable and Philippe has a very good framework for helping you write your SOP and the other essays you need to submit. He even helped with little things like sending an email to request a recommendation letter. Can't recommend enough

Having Dr. Barry Rothman by my side to brainstorm and review all aspects of my Med School applications was incredibly rewarding! I was worried my complex educational background would hurt my chances at admission, but Barry clearly knows the angles admissions committees respond well to and helped me leverage my history in my Personal Statement, Experiences, and (most importantly) Interviews. His collaboration style encouraged me to dig deep and provide a wide variety of ideas, which helped me build new insights into my experiences by bringing them all to the fore. He has a good eye for word choice and essay structure in editing my personal statements and is able to separate the wheat from the chaff to help meet tight character limits. He is also a wonderful coach for interview prep, able to provide tips, scenarios, and observations pertinent to a successful interview. His feedback at all steps was valuable, respectful, and trustworthy, and helped me refine my ideas into a more thematically consistent complete work. Barry helped me be a more confident and competitive applicant, and I am glad to have worked with him and Accepted on my medical school applications. They are highly recommended!

After my MCAT exam had been cancelled and delayed twice, I felt pressed for time to complete and submit my medical school application. Luckily, a friend of mine referred me to Accepted, where I had the pleasure of working with Alicia.
From the very beginning, Alicia was kind, understanding, supportive, knowledgeable and professional. She went over my grades, extracurricular activities and exam scores and thoroughly explained the application process to me, always more than willing and ready to answer my questions. I struggled the most with the Activities section of my application where she helped me to brain storm and refine my ideas so that I was then able to write about the most important aspects of my experiences. Within two weeks of working with Alicia, I was able to submit my application to medical schools. Because I enjoyed working with Alicia so much, I decided to continue to work with her throughout the rest of application process (secondaries, interviews).
I am very happy I decided to work with Alicia, as I felt very confident going into my interviews and have been accepted to one of my top choices for medical school. I highly recommend Accepted and Alicia to anyone who is applying to medical school. Thank you!

When I first considered applying to graduate programs, I was worried that my low undergraduate GPA and lack of research experience would prevent me from being admitted into a good program. Dr. Ash was extremely patient and took time to get to know me, my academic history and career goals and helped me to write strong statements of purpose that conveyed my strengths as an applicant. Her input and review of my statements allowed me to be representative of my own experiences and goals, but also to do so in a way that catered to the program that I was applying to. With her help and support, I was accepted into all of the programs that I applied to, including the Quantitative Analytics in Education program at the University of Virginia and the Learning Analytics program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. It was truly a privilege to work with Dr. Ash, and her guidance was invaluable to my application experience!

I contacted Accepted looking specifically for essay help. I knew that I was capable of writing an essay, but I would have focused it on my dedication to the program and the work that I have done to get to this point in my life. I would have come across as a one-dimensional person that may have been ready for graduate school but didn’t have much else to offer the program.
Accepted matched me with an Accepted mentor, Dr. Barry Rothman, who was in the same field that I was applying to. Barry was able to ask directed questions to help me discover my own well-roundedness and helped me craft essays that reflected my non-program related interests. Barry’s experience allowed him to reveal information about me that was weaved into my essays without coming across as jarring or bragging.
During the writing process, Barry’s comments and edits were not Barry inserting his own voice into my work but instead they were a guiding hand that allowed me to see where I could improve my own work. These comments and edits were suggestions that I could take or not take, since it was my own work, and I controlled the final outcome. I was accepted into the one PhD program to which I had applied.
Barry and the Accepted team were very responsive and friendly. Barry truly cared about my success and I think that I made a friend along the way.
