I was thankfully suggested Adams Kaye Solicitors to sell a flat that was crazily complicated as it was under the aegis of FirstPort & E&M management companies who were very difficult to deal with.
I was lucky enough to be given the sainted Ben Cooper, who was a complete dream.
He answered the phone very time, understood all the ramifications that related to selling this flat & just was on it big time. He is also a complete delight to talk to - professional but approachable. The complete package.
Adams Kaye were suggested to me after a complete disaster with Sterling Ackroyd, who were so hopeless that my agent rang to say that after 3 weeks of total inactivity from them, I was about to lose my buyer if I didn't change my solicitor that day. I did exactly that & he was right, within 1 hour everything went from 0 to 100.
I cannot praise Ben enough - he had to deal with FirstPort & E&M Management. E&M Management were a complete nightmare & decided that they would make every document they produced, take months & months to send. Entirely due to them, we not only took 4 months to sell our flat - no chain, no other properties involved on either side - but we had to pay the buyer substantial amounts, as she had missed the stamp duty reduction window.
I can't recommend Adams Kaye enough - Ben saved our lives - he was excellent.

We used Paul Adams as our conveyancer on our recent purchase and sale and were happily surprised at the outstanding level of service we got. A lot of people complain about their solicitors when buying and selling but I will be recommending this firm to anyone who asks. People seem surprised when I tell them that Paul either answers a phone call or email immediately or gets back to you in the quickest time. No need to look any further and the prices were reasonable too.

Ben Cooper at Adams Kaye handled my extremely testing and protracted conveyance snatching victory from the jaws of defeat at the last possible minute of the proceedings. Huge huge thank you to Kelly Sutton who was our solicitor during my husband and I’s most recent home purchase. From start to finish Kelly went above and beyond to make sure things were running smoothly and to help us when needed. She was always on hand to answer any questions and super speedy to reply to emails (literally within 10 minutes!). I literally can't express enough how much I think anyone who is buying a house should choose Adams Kaye. Very affordable and work incredibly hard! We put an offer in for a house late-ish October and we completed early February. It would have been sooner had we not been slow with getting a surveyor!
