Ajustamatic made several appointments…

Ajustamatic made several appointments they changed the first one I stayed in all afternoon but they didn’t arrive they rang me 4 days later made another appointment then changed that so I told them not to bother I thought the salesman was very poor but it seems they are all just as unreliable

I'm a very disappointed ex customer

I've been a loyal customer since 2021 when I bought my first chair from them. I bought my second in 2024, paying nearly £6,000 for an Adjustamatic Blenheim . It's aftersales service- once the warranty has expired - is an appalling rip-off. They charge a call-out fee of £189 which includes the first 20 minutes...with an additional cost for parts - in my case, £120 for the handset. You can (nearly) buy a new riser recliner for that price.
I'm a very disappointed ex customer.

Just paid 5k for a large double…

Just paid 5k for a large double electric bed. Absolute rubbish. Fabric glued to an MDF frame, no cushioning behing to pad it out. Head board wobbles.
Mattress is comfortable and mechanism seems to work as described.
Looks cheap and is definitely not worth the money. Can not see the bed lasting the stated warranty period.
Plus the rep gets 20% commission so tgat should tell you all you need to know.
Don't get stung like me.
The delivery lads were brilliant, best part of the whole experience.
If you spend a significant amount on a bed you expect a standard of quality, fit and finish. My experience is it's just tat that is over priced

Bought a recliner chair which cost…

Bought a recliner chair which cost £7,000. It really wasn't worth the money. It is uncomfortable to sit in. After sales is non existent. Rep full of promises & skso promised a follow up visit when chair had been delivered. Never happened! No contact from anyone. Worst part was after spending so much money on a supposedly perfect chair, soon after chair was delivered, we were given a phone call offering a big discount on a chair. The sales department obviously knew we had been looking but unaware we had already purchased a chair stupidly & at full price. Would not buy from this company again or listen to the false promises. Extremely dissapointed & a waste of a lot of money.o

Great service, great bed!

From the first visit to your Southampton showroom we had great experience from your staff. The guys who delivered the bed were great and very helpful with fitting the bed. Since we’ve been using our extremely comfortable bed our only complaint is that the mattress keeps sliding out of position and we would like some advice on what to do about it.

Delivery on time and very pleasant men
Bed as described. Very comfortable. Came just in time as I fell and injured my back. Sitting up in bed was so much easier than anordinary bed.
Hope it will give us years of good sleep

Warning, when purchasing mattresses from Adjustamatic

My latest experience with Adjustamatic. To be fair Adjustamatic had been good until it came to ordering another set of mattresses. We are finding the mattresses very uncomfortable. To cut a long story short, a consumer has only 14 days in which to advise Adjustamatic of a problem with the mattresses. I am of the opinion this is too short a period for anyone to know whether there will be a problem and it is unfair terms and conditions. So be warned.

New mattress

I bought a new mattress from adjustamatic. It was expensive, but it’s very comfortable. I hadn’t realised how bad my original one had got. It took about six weeks from order to delivery. It was delivered within the timeframe they said, the guys were very efficient in delivering the new and removing the old. Altogether very pleased with the experience.

I was not happy with my original…

I was not happy with my original mattress and paid to replace it.
One of the problems I had was that the mattress moved diagonally at the head end up to 30centimetres.
It was not too difficult for and able bodies person to move it back, but impossible for me.
My new mattress also moves approximately 5/6 cms.

Customer relations very bad Pleased with bed

Pleased with bed, services engineers competent and pleasant to deal with.
however customer relations not so good. Little or no contact between departments, leading to delays and missunderstandings,
Still waiting, after numerous request for instructions how to use the bed

Pestering, not accessible forhearing loss

Telesales keep ringing when asked not to on multiple occasions. Asked not to due to hearing loss, I can't hear them and only wanted the brochure to compair products before buying. I feel pestered and with apparently no email to communicate with I have had to use a contact form - that makes you give consent for marketing before it will send. Not an accessible service for hearing problems. Needs an easier opt out. Won't be buying despite seeing a suitable product.
