Très bonne expérience en contact, premièrement pour les dimensions avec des avis bien aiguisés. Merci pour les retours à la réception, colis reçu très rapidement dès l’information du départ, ainsi que les informations de prise en compte et de montage de mon blouson, tout du long des semaines de la fabrication à la main…
La qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous ce cuir est sublime et j’en suis très satisfait

Mon expérience d’achat fut un cauchemar. J’ai perdu presque 300€. J’avais repéré une belle veste dans la section « en stock ». Je prends mes mesures : tout correspond. Je me décide à la commander. Le colis est expédié : je dois régler près de 200€ de frais de douane et de TVA. Finalement, je paye et elle arrive : la veste ne me va pas du tout. Malgré les mesures préalables, elle est trop petite. Je dois donc la retourner : je paye à nouveau près de 40€ pour le retour, j’indique en gros sur le colis « RETOUR », et malgré ça le colis est à nouveau bloqué à la douane, et il faut payer encore plus de 100€ pour que le colis revienne à Aero Leather.
J’ai contacté la douane, le transporteur : aucune chance de me faire rembourser la moindre taxe ni la TVA.
J’ai perdu plusieurs centaines d’euros parce que la veste était trop petite, malgré les mesures que j’avais prises.
Je ne veux pas critiquer l’équipe Aero Leather, ils sont vraiment très gentils, répondent rapidement et se soucient de notre problème. Ils m'ont proposé de participer aux duties de retour à hauteur de 50 livres. Ça n’est pas leur faute. Mais là, vraiment, cette expérience a été un cauchemar et je suis absolument sidéré d’avoir perdu autant d’argent juste pour avoir voulu acheter une veste.
Je poste cet avis pour que certains sachent… Car j’aurais aimé savoir ce problème avant de commander et de perdre tout cet argent.

My purchasing experience was a nightmare. I lost almost €300. I spotted a nice jacket in the “in stock” section. I take my measurements: everything matches. I decide to order it. The package is shipped: I have to pay nearly €200 in customs fees and VAT. Finally, I pay and it arrives: the jacket doesn't suit me at all. Despite preliminary measurements, it is too small. So I have to return it: I pay again almost €40 for the return, I indicate basically "RETURN" on the package, and despite that the package is blocked at customs again, and I have to pay even more 100€ for the package to return to Aero Leather.
I contacted customs, the carrier: no chance of getting any tax or VAT refunded.
I lost several hundred euros because the jacket was too small, despite the measures I had taken.
I don't want to criticize the Aero Leather team, they are really very nice, respond quickly and care about our problem. They offered me to contribute 50 pounds to the return duties. It's not their fault. But really, this experience was a nightmare and I am absolutely stunned to have lost so much money just to want to buy a jacket.
I'm posting this review so that some people know... Because I would have liked to know about this problem before ordering and losing all this money.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review and let us know about the issues you had with customs and thank you for your kind words about us despite this negative overall experience - we appreciate it very much.
I'm really sorry this happened and it presents quite an unusual situation. The normal process here is that yes, you pay for duties/taxes upon import but when the goods are are returned and we provide the invoice showing the cancellation/refund, alongside relevant waybills, this can be used to claim back any import duties/customs you have paid on the good(s). This is the process followed by us/our customers and I'm really surprised you've been prevented from doing this?
As is the norm for distance clothing sellers, we regularly have international customers who buy from our Ready to Buy pages and return because the fit isn't quite what they imagined. The customs/returns issue you're having is not the norm and should not have happened. I believe you may have used a different courier for the return from our preferred one used for the dispatch, so this may have something to do with the difficulties here. Either way, I've passed this case on to our dispatch assistant to see if there's anything further we can do to help and we'll be in touch soon.

Thank you for your great feedback about the quality of our products.
And yeah we understand that customs charges are disappointing but they are out of our control I'm afraid. We ensure that we remove UK sales tax/VAT at checkout to ensure international customers only get charges the non-tax price, but upon import to their country the duties/tax is determined by their customs office/government's policies.
We have recently added another notice at our checkout to ensure people aren't taken by surprise with this in the future but beyond that there's not much else we can do I'm afraid!
