Our Japan trip was amazing! The country is so beautiful as well as their people. We didn't run into any major issues, however, there are a few things I would like to mention. We arrived in Tokyo on 10/2/24 at 1pm, we were very excited to finally start our vacation, we were met with an airport and Affordable World rep. that informed us the bus would be picking us up at 4pm. We had 3 hours to kill in the airport or pay our own way to the hotel, which was approx. $200USD with Uber/taxi. We opted to wait in the airport, we didn't arrive to our hotel until approximately 7:00pm that evening. Had we known there was going to be such a long wait, we would have made arrangements from home to make our way to the hotel on our own. We met our guide Yoshi on Friday 10/4/24, a very kind man. He was always very joyous and made himself readily available to us. Our group was small (12 people in the beginning) so it was easy to engage with him, his English was a bit rusty, when we asked him questions about the country, he didn't always have an answer. I wish he was more knowledgeable with the areas where our hotels were situated, so we knew where to go for dinner or shopping. The excursions were timely, however, on occasion we felt rushed on the tours due to time constraints. Maybe we should have an option to cancel an excursion if we are running late due to traffic, which we did encounter more than once. Unfortunately, the last day in Kyoto we really had to rush through the castle and Temple visits. Also, the 5-course meal in Tokyo, was odd. We received a very high bill at the end even though we had already paid for that dinner excursion. Yoshi intervened once we all complained, because we were told only the drinks were not included. Some of our travel companions had bills for over $200 dollars! I ordered 2 ginger ales, and my bill was over $50. Thankfully that whole scenario was resolved, but it left us with a weird feeling about the communication between Affordable World and the venue. Overall, we had a fantastic time and most likely will use Affordable World again, this is our second time with them. We just wish the excursions were flexible and we could understand our guide better. Thank you Affordable World!

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The staff that co-ordinated all of our transfers was always punctual and made sure we knew exactly where to be at the right time and made helpful suggestions on things to do on our open days. The hotels were very nice and generally close to the areas of interest. I will definitely use Affordable World when planning future excursions to areas they cover.

Everything was fantastic, the guide, Buti, the food the people, the places I stayed. The weather where do I begin.
Bali is my best vacation by far. The country is safe and you violent free. That's epic. I have never had better customer service. Thank you.

The tour guide was fantastic. The bus was older, no restroom. No water offered as I had experienced with other agencies. No connecting flight arranged, therefore had to exit and re-enter the airports. Also they buy you a bus ticket after a 13 hour flight and tell you it won't arrive for 4 hours have a nice day; Other agencies pick you up and take care of luggage and travel. The hotels were very nice.
Id chose another tour group if I could do it again, my expectations were way too high after using previous agencies.

Overall it was great trip!

Our guide, Alit, was wonderful! The upgrade at Ubud was perfect, but expensive. I did not upgrade at Kutu and regretted it. Our friends Dwight and Pam had two twelve hour layovers on the trip there and that is quite simply unacceptable. The basic trip, without upgrades, is not a good value

Best company to book your vacation with. Their company name AFFORDABLE WORLD says it all. I loved everything from the airlines, transportations,hotels, staff and tours were GREAT OUR tour guides we had Ani and Ketut was AMAZING I recommend anyone going to Balu to ask for them. Can't wait to book my other vacation with Affordable World. Trust me you'll continue to book all your vacations with them

This was the trip of a lifetime. Saturkay was an incredible tour guide and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything went smoothly. Transportation to and from each location was very easy. The hotels were very nice. Saturkay gave great recommendations and was an excellent tour guide. I would highly recommend booking a trip through affordable world travel. If you get Saturkay as your tour guide you will have the best experience.

Kitty our tour guide was the best! She was so helpful and thoughtful and had the best personality. Logistically, some of the tours could have been planned more efficiently, for example the elephant tour from phuket instead of from Bangkok. Overall, it was a great experience though! Would recommend!

This was my first time using Affordable World or any other similar company. It was such a relief to have everything planned for you from the airport transportation to the tours, especially when you don't speak the native language. It certainly put my mind at ease since this was my first time traveling to a European Country. Additionally, it was great having a local provide recommendations of what to see, where to visit and where to get the best food and drinks at the best price. I would absolutely choose Affordable World for my next vacation.

We went on a Greece 9 day tour- Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. We had pick up and drop off at the airport and also at each hotel stayed at. All agents were on time and very professional. This saved us a lot of time looking for a taxi. Also, the hotel choices were all great with breakfast included and in main attraction areas. Overall we are very happy with our pre-planned trip of Greece. If you do not want to book everything separately yourself, then save yourself time and money and book with Affordable World!

Kitty was amazing! She was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. She made our trip memorable and was soooo funny.

I love Affordable Worlds. I have traveled with them on three vacations and I’ve never been disappointed. The most recent trip was to Bali/Singapore. Two of the three hotels were excellent but The Tribe, by the beach was a little dated and not 4/5* stars. It was ok but disappointing.
In November 2023 I went to Turkey/Malta with Affordable World. The hotel in Turkey was wonderful. The rooftop restaurant was the best. I never wanted to eat anywhere else. However, the hotel room in Malta was small but had a balcony. Some room were much larger with a sitting room area and a bedroom. There was no rhyme or reason as to what couple got what rooms. I only discovered the larger room when I was invited by a guest to their room. The Malta hotel was located in a mall. I liked the setting and the convenience but many of the others did not.
To date the best trip with Affordable World was my trip to China/Thailand.

Pretty much everything was great except the flight back to Los Angeles. I had to add an additional day and flight out to Tokyo from Osaka so I could avoid a 22 hour flight. (Direct flight from Tokyo to LAX is less than 11 hours). I would also like to mention that our guide and our driver were amazing and really nice.

Traveled to Istanbul, Athens and Santorini with my husband and 21-year-old son for a family vacation. As it was my first time enlisting the services of this tour company I was a bit apprehensive. Indeed, I wondered if the affordably priced package would turn out to be the high-quality value laden vacation it promised to be. In a word: AWESOME!!! The drivers who arrived promptly for transfers, tour representative (Olga), and guides (John in Istanbul, Laura in Athens and Margarita in Santorini) were so personable, accommodating, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. Affordable World really partners with some top-notch tour operators in the visiting countries. Also, the accommodations chosen were exceptional and true to the 4-5 star ratings. The only con in our experience was towards the end of our walking tour in Istanbul in which we were taken to a “fashion show” at a clothing/jewelry boutique. It was a bizarre cheesy attempt to entice us to purchase merchandise (although we were told we were under no obligations). Everything else about this trip was so amazing that we were willing to overlook this hijacked moment but do recommend Affordable World look into this so future travelers are not blindsided as we were. Having said all that, I will DEFINITELY choose and recommend Affordable World for future travels.

Our guide Hiro was very well prepared, imparted great knowledge about all of our tours. He was very patient and helpful.
The accommodations were wonderful throughout the trip, breakfasts excellent. We would consider you again for future travel.
