We have had the most extraordinary safari experience; all our expectations were exceeded in every sense. From the very first moment, while planning the trip, Jennifer (the owner) was incredibly helpful, addressing all our questions, responding on the same day, and helping us design the most perfect itinerary.

We arrived in Mombasa on a cruise ship, and Jennifer and Joseph (our guide/driver) were waiting for us at the port to kick off this great adventure. Jennifer was there just to meet us, welcome us, and give us a beautiful gift. From there, Joseph drove us to Tsavo East National Park, where the surprises began. In just three days, we saw every animal possible. Joseph is a true expert; he has a hawk-eye for spotting and seeing them from a distance.

The most extraordinary experience was when other guides drove their 4x4s toward where they thought a lion might be, only to give up shortly after. But Joseph was tenacious and clever, and within minutes, not just one, but six lions appeared, escorting our 4x4 for 20 minutes. It was an indescribable experience, being able to hear the breathing of these animals in total solitude.

During these three days, we stayed at two completely different lodges: one was a tent with every comfort (Satao Camp) and the other was a hotel with incredible architectural design (Saltlick Lodge), where the rooms are on stilts and the animals are practically right beneath you. Hearing the sounds of these creatures at night is beyond words. And at dawn, watching from the tent as the monkeys all jump at once from the tree where they slept is another peculiar spectacle.

In short, if you are planning a safari, do not hesitate to choose this company. They delivered on everything: they are helpful, professional, attentive, cordial, punctual, and they tailor the route to your tastes and interests. Congratulations and THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything!

We had the best experience! From the booking where Jennifer had so many good suggestions and ideas and helped us plan the perfect safari for us - travelling with three kids, until after the safari where they helped us transport items that we could not transport ourselves. Joseph our driver was very knowledgeable, serviceminded - and best of all very careful when driving. We managed to see the big 5, sailed on lake Naivasha, walked Crescent island, picnicked on the Masai Mara as well as so many other wonderful experiences that really made the trip special. Would totally use them again :-)

African Memorable Safaris was an excellent and personal company who made our trip to Kenya as special as can be. Jennifer attended all our questions and met us in person towards the end of out tour in Diani. I recommend their services very highly, especially as someone who works within the travel industry. So much can be lost when dealing with much bigger companies whose size means they lose the personal touch. Jennifer was a joy to deal with and, above all, Kelvin, our driver guide was calm, experienced, knowledgeable and understanding. He was exceptional in his deep scope of human comprehension between cultures and worked tirelessly to find all the animals we ever had hoped to see. These are not people just taking you for a ride to get commissions out of shops and places where they can benefit more than you, which can happen with a lot of other companies whose drivers never get a decent break. If you are lucky enough to have Kelvin as your guide, this will be the holiday of your lifetime, although I'm sure Jennifer's husband and other guides they use must be of a similar calibre as they are such a small and personable business. Thankyou Jennifer and Kelvin! Many apologies for giving this review so late!

African Memorables Safari was recommended to us by our travel agency in 2023 and even then we were thrilled. This time we booked it alone. The communication with Jenny in advance was easy and excellent. She has put together an unforgettable tour for us individually by arrangement.

The pick-up at our accommodation was a bit tricky but no problem. Stanley was on time and as we know him always in a good mood.

Then we went to the Masai Mara in the 4×4 WD Safari Landcruiser Jeep.

A short break with a breathtaking view of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrival at the first lodge for lunch and then the first Game Drive! We had relatively few animals but still were able to collect different animals and many great impressions. The lodge (Zebra Plaines River Camp) was a little outside but the 30-minute journey was entertaining.

The camp was very nice.....spacious tents on stilts, river with hippos next door and large pool... At dusk, security was provided by the Masai on the way to the restaurant. In the evening with musical live music among others from our guide. The service in the lodge was impeccable.....friendly and always on site. On the second day we had a whole day (are not back for lunch at the lodge). So we could go further away. Lunch was given as a picnic in the green in the middle of the park. A dream.

After two nights there we went to Lake Nakuru. here the lodge was inside the park and above the lake overlooking it... the view was a dream! Here the accommodation was a fixed construction .... very African, simple but everything there what you need for a night. The service was very friendly. The buffet consisted of local food was really good. Again, we arrived for lunch and had a four-hour game drive in the afternoon. Too short? Definitely not. It was enough for us to see a wide variety of animals. Various birds, water buffaloes, hippos, zebras, various antelopes, monkeys, lions, and in the evening even a leopard and rhinos.

The next morning we continued to Lake Naivasha. This area surprised us again in a completely different way. It went to the adjacent „Hells Gate“ National Park. A small park without many cars. here you can explore nature on foot or by bike. We recommend a local guide of the park, as he has a lot of great information about the story. This showed the rock on which Simba was shown to the animals in the film. There are free-running zebras, wildeguns and antelopes. After 4 km, Stanley picked us up again and drove to a ravine in the park. Then we were guided by the guide through this water-bearing gorge. It was breathtaking. Stanley waited reliably in the parking lot.

For lunch we went to our accommodation. The Simba Lodge, which is located directly on the lake where zebras and antelopes graze directly in front of the terrace. The staff courteous and attentive.

In the afternoon after a short lunch, after a boat trip on Cresent Island, we collected further dreamlike impressions on a safari on foot. Zebras, antelopes, giraffes being so close that you could touch them was impressive. Again, the mediated local guide was trustworthy and we felt safe. Stanley was waiting for us at the jetty.

After breakfast the next morning, Stanley took us safely to the airport.

It was once again a fantastic time with adventures (mature plate on the Mara River, forgotten guide on Cresent Island, and much more) and impressions that remain unforgotten in the head and in the heart. We laughed a lot and experienced even more. At no time did we feel bad, uncomfortable or insecure. It was imperfectly perfect and we love it.

Next time again Kenya and again Arfican Memorables Safari!

Stanley you are simply the best driver guide you could wish for for a safari..

We had a great time on this Safari. The communication with the tour organizer, Jennifer, was excellent. She and the tour guide met us outside the gate of the port (we are cruising) to take us on our Safari adventure. From almost the minute, we entered Tsavo National Park, we started seeing animals. We saw lots of elephants and zebras, along with many other animals, including a pride of lions and giraffes. There were also many colorful birds. Our stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge was pleasant with good food and service. The room got a little warm at night as there is no air conditioning; it was helpful to have a portable fan. On the way back from our Safari, we stopped at the Maasai Village, which was an interesting cultural experience. Our guide was pleasant and helpful; he did his best to give us the best Safari possible. I would highly recommend this tour as would the other six people who accompanied me.

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo cercato online qualche sito per fare Safari in Kenya e ci siamo imbattuti casualmente nella loro pagina, abbiamo scritto su whatsapp e prontamente ci ha risposto Jennifer. Una signora molto gentile e disponibile che ha saputo rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda.
Abbiamo fatto un safari di 8 giorni e 7 notti partendo da Mombasa e finendo all’aereoporto di Nairobi come da noi richiesto. La nostra guida Joseph è stato unico, una persona gentile, simpatica e professionale , informato su tutti i parchi che abbiamo visitato (Tsavo est, tsavo ovest, Taita Hills, amboseli, lake naivasha e Masai Mara) e grazie a lui siamo riusciti a vedere animali e scene uniche!
Gli alloggi in cui abbiamo soggiornato erano tutti meravigliosi e unici.

We booked a Safari with African Memorable Safaris, after finding them in SafariBookings. We had tried contacting another company before and did not feel certain about it, so we went with African Memorable Safaris. Jennifer was great, and it was easy to be convinced. They made an itinerary adapted to us and within out budget. She supported us in everything we needed, and was always a message away if we had questions. The payment is done through Mpesa, which is an online payment system in Kenya - it works very well and we had no doubts about the legitimacy of this company and this Safari.
For the Safari, we went to Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake and Amboseli park. There were long drives and long days, but all worth it - we saw so many animals. Our driver Gateru made us feel safe, and went above and beyond to give us the best Safari experience. I think we saw everything we wanted to see, and more.
We felt so lucky, and the experience would not have been the same without him.
I really hope this review helps you make a decision, and if you do, you might want to ask for Gateru - I don't know about the other guides, but with this one I can promise you you will have the experience of a lifetime!

Amazing experience, with everything included. We planned the trip with Jennifer who was extremely helpful and thoughtful to our needs. We visited Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake and Amboseli park and we felt so lucky to see so many animals, absolutely breathtaking! The best part about African Memorable Safaris was our guide and driver, Gateru. He made our experience even better, we had a perfect relationship, very respectful and caring and probably knows everything about animals! Thank you Gateru!

Our 1-week safari was truly an unforgettable experience, beyond what we imagined. We explored three incredible national parks: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli National Park. From the moment we received our first quote from Jennifer, she was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. She not only customized our safari but also went above and beyond by helping us book train tickets for our second week in Kenya. Her communication was prompt and clear, which made planning so much easier.


For the safari itself, we were fortunate to have Gateru (Francis) as our guide, and he’s the one who made the trip truly extraordinary. His depth of knowledge about wildlife and his passion for conservation really stood out. Thanks to him, we spotted so many animals up close: lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, different types of antelopes, hippos, monkeys, wildebeests, hyenas, and the list goes on, many impressive birds too. His ability to find the animals while respecting their space was remarkable, and he ensured we got stunning photos without disturbing the animals. Gateru also shared insightful stories about Kenya’s culture and values, adding a rich layer of context to the trip. His warm personality and humor made us feel relaxed and safe throughout the journey. By the end of the safari, our group of 4 traveling friends felt like 5. 


The accommodations were just as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly in sync with the safari vibe. One that stood out was the lodge in Amboseli, where we were lucky to have a great view of Kilimanjaro both at sunrise and right before sunset. All meals were included, and we were happy with the variety and quality of the food, especially given the remote locations.

The overall organization of the tour, from pickups & transfers to our park driving days, was seamless, making it a hassle-free experience. We highly recommend this operator for anyone looking for a well-organized, enriching safari adventure.

We had such a great time! Joseph was the best driver and an excellent guide! He made sure that we saw every animal we wanted to see and he could tell us every detail about all animals. We saw 10 lions, leopard, giraffes, elefants, zebras and many more.

After an amazing trip with African Memorable Safaris in Summer 2023 - when my sister visited from England I knew I wanted to book a repeat experience. Again, Jennifer's communication was helpful and informative - and she was happy to answer all of our questions. The whole trip ran very smoothly - and our guide Joseph was wonderful. He was very friendly and personable, and happy not only to answer all of our questions about animals but also about the local culture. As the high season is coming to an end - it could have been hard for us to see all of the animals we were hoping for - but thanks to Joseph we were incredibly lucky and saw not only a baby leopard playing in the bush, but a lioness with three cubs walking along right by our jeep. I wouldn't use any other company for a safari in Kenya!

Thanks for the great time: We wanted to go on a safari at short notice during our stay in Kenya. After some research online we found African Memorable Safaris and got an offer for 3 days. it was supposed to start the next day. And that's what we did, with our German-speaking guide Pascal to tsavo East and then to Amboseli National Park. We experienced a lot, had a lot of fun and simply had a great time. Thanks to Jennifer and Pascal for the good organization and the great experience.

This trip was a 40th birthday present to myself, and it did not disappoint.

We did a 3 night, 4 day safari trip, ending on 4 day relaxation stay at Diani beach.

In the lead up to the trip, our travel agent Jennifer, was extremely helpful, informative, and always available when we had questions. Everything from being collected from the airport and dropping us back for our departure ran smoothly.

The Safari itself, we visited, Tsavo East and West, Amboseli and Taita Hills reserves. We were extremely lucky to see 3 of the big 5, as well as numerous herbivores and bird species. The scenery will stay with us forever, it was absolutely stunning, and although we took many photographs, seeing it in real life, the photographs do it no justice. Our Safari guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable, making sure we saw as many animals as possible, using his CB radio throughout the trips. We felt safe and at no point in any danger.

All the accommodations that were chosen for our trip, Salt Lick, Voi Wildlife Lodge and Kibo Safari Camp (our particular favourite) were amazing. The food was buffet selection and there was always plenty to choose from.

Unsere Safari besteht einfach aus unglaublich vielen unvergesslichen Momente für mich. Davon werde ich mein Leben lang zehren. Der Trip war einfach magisch. Trotz eines Defekts am Wagen, wurde uns eine traumhaft schöne Safari ermöglicht. Und dank Joseph, dem weltbesten Guide, wurde uns Kenia in einem Maße gezeigt, was wir nie wieder vergessen werden. Die Safaris waren ein Traum, die Bilder sprechen für sich. Joseph hat alle möglichen Tiere aufgespürt und uns vor die Linse gebracht. Die Lodges waren ebenfalls traumhaft schön, vor allem die Oltukai Lodge hatte es uns angetan. Am Fuße des Kilimanjaro gelegen, bot sich uns ein traumhaftes Panorama. Und die Vielfalt der Tiere in Amboseli war einfach unfassbar. Von einer Vielzahl von Elefanten, über Löwen, Giraffen, Leoparden, Zebras, Nilpferden, usw. …ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben, dort gewesen zu sein.
Am zweiten Tag ging es nach Tsavo East…die rote Erde ergoss sich über uns. Auch hier hat Joseph so viele Tiere aufgespürt. Der ganze Trip ist eigentlich gar nicht in Worte zu fassen. Die Gastfreundlichkeit der Kenianer ganz zu schweigen.
Die Organisation und Kommunikation von Jennifer hat 5***** verdient. Durch sie gewinnt man in das ganze Projekt Vertrauen. Und wenn man Fragen hat, ist sie rund um die Uhr zu erreichen und antwortet immer!
Es war einfach rundum gelungen und wie Joseph schon sagte: „Diesmal kamt ihr als Gäste, nächstes Mal kommt ihr als Freunde!“
Wir werden uns bestimmt eines Tages wieder sehen, das weiß ich!

Our safari simply consists of an incredible number of unforgettable moments for me. I will live on this for the rest of my life. The trip was simply magical. Despite a defect in the car, we were able to have a fantastically beautiful safari. And thanks to Joseph, the world's best guide, we were shown Kenya in a way we will never forget. The safaris were a dream, the pictures speak for themselves. Joseph tracked down all kinds of animals and brought them in front of our lens. The lodges were also fantastically beautiful, we were particularly impressed by the Oltukai Lodge. Located at the foot of Kilimanjaro, we had a fantastic panorama. And the diversity of animals in Amboseli was simply unbelievable. From a variety of elephants, to lions, giraffes, leopards, zebras, hippos, etc...I still can't believe I was there.
On the second day we went to Tsavo East...the red earth poured over us. Here too, Joseph tracked down so many animals. The whole trip can't really be put into words. Not to mention the hospitality of the Kenyans.
Jennifer's organization and communication deserve 5*****. Through them you gain confidence in the entire project. And if you have any questions, she is available 24/7 and always answers!
It was just a complete success and as Joseph said: “This time you came as guests, next time you come as friends!”

We were lucky to find this company to organize our personal safari together along with my fiance. They picked us up right at the hotel and right from the beginning the guide was super helpful and interactive.

During the safari we experienced so much wildlife, really saw everything and up close as well. Lions with a fresh zebra kill, herds of giraffes grazing from the tops of trees, elephants wandering by on the road just feet away from our truck. Herds of zebra on the savannah, a huge pack of baboons which surrounded us for as far as we could see, and countless other types of animals.

Our stay at the Voi Wildlife Resort was gorgeous, the perfect fit for a safari. The grounds of this resort were super comfortable, with monkeys wandering around. Dining was right next to a watering hole which attracted herds of elephants and other animals, this in itself was an experience.

There was a beautiful little gazebo that stuck out into the savannah where we could rest on comfortable seats and watch the wildlife. We were also able to leave a memento to our engagement, It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The organizer of the tour was extremely helpful, in touch with us often to make sure everything was going perfectly and following up afterwards to see what could possibly have gone better, even though it actually went beautifully well. Also she was available to give advice specific to our needs as a couple.

When I next go on a safari again with my sister and my kids, I will certainly look this company up because they did such a fantastic job.

We've just returned from our honeymoon - Safari with African Memorable Safaris! It was perfect! Throughout the booking process, Jennifer was quick to respond with any and all the information we needed. She made each place we stayed in aware it was our honeymoon and there was always a nice suprise :) Our guide, Joseph, was brilliant throughout the trip - he was very efficient and knowledgable. The experience itself was once in a lifetime and everything we had hoped for!

Wir hatten unsere Flitterwochen-Safari mit dem besten Führer (und Sänger) – Stanley! 6 Tage lang haben wir 3 verschiedene Nationalparks in Kenia entdeckt – sehr beeindruckend. Würden es immer wieder tun!
