Our company was founded in 2003 by avid amateur astronomer Manish Panjwani in an effort to provide quality astronomy gear coupled with top-notch customer service. Agena Astro 30 day return policy

Backordered a SeeStar S30 Pro, images were terrible, half purple and half green on short images. Terrible aberrations in WFOV mode. Tried to talk to Agena Astro about the problems but rather than ask common sense questions they just made every excuse for the problem, Moon, light pollution, ZWO says normal. I was even told that they did not see a problem. I was told that nobody else had complained about the product, gosh, if one is perfect they all are perfect according to Agena Astro. I tried to return the product but was told that I had received it even before they had sent out an email that my backorder would be shipped after the date that I supposedly had received it. It is quite evident that Agena Astro doe not honor their 30 day return policy and will do everything they can to delay your complaint/request to get past those 30 days. They are happy to sell, just not interested if they sell you something that has a problem, actually rather insulting in the way they try to tell you that you don't know what you are talking about, nothing but denials. 40 years of imaging comets and I don't know anything about the images that I am taking according to Agena Astro.

5 years of great experiences, still going strong

I’ve shopped at Agena for years, and they’re my go-to retailer, without question.

Agena has top-notch customer service, great shipping options, an easy-to-navigate site, and a wide selection of products.

Their staff is knowledgeable re: astronomy and astrophotography, and they’re always happy to answer any questions I have.

I recently got back into the hobby and…

I recently got back into the hobby and was recommended Agena Astro by one of the many Youtube astro channels. Tried to make a purchase for less than $50 and was told since I did not have a purchase history with them that I would need to send a photocopy of my driver's license as well as a photocopy of my credit card to prove I had possession of the card. This was after my credit card company stated I had been charged. Instead of simply calling my credit card company to verify my card was legit they send me a form letter with all these privacy invasive hoops I have to go through.

Go with High Point Scientific as they have much better customer service. It's been over 40 years since I was denied service over such a trivial amount but I will continue to promote digital privacy. We do not have to stand for such poor customer service.

Excellent company to do business with!!!

There was an issue with the product ordered, not Agenas fault or mine, and John P. in customer service stayed on top of the issue to get the issue corrected. I can't say enough good for this company as they have given me GREAT service in the past. They have a good supply on most items and shipping is fast. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

First class service and advice.

I have been a customer of OPT and then Agena Astro for many years now and have never encountered any issue. The people at Agena are very knowledgeable and will help you find the best solution to your needs even if it does not necessarily mean the most spending. I have come to fully trust them because they have your satisfaction at heart. My only concern is the cost of shipping from the US to Mauritius which has called for me to bundle several items into one order to save on shipping. But, of course, this has nothing to do with their first-class service. Keep the passion going!
