AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Dress crushed into tiny bag.
The cut and fit of the dress on my missus was simply awful.
Refund or return requested but they are despatched from the back end of China and the return costs make this option unviable.
Wrote them an email to which they did eventually reply. We settled on a 30% refund but after 6 weeks of waiting and several assurances that a refund was to be processed, nothing has materialised.
It’s a crap company, characterised by delays, obfuscation and half truths, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Received my wedding dress, costs £266.00 picture looks beautiful - package arrived 6 weeks later, the grey plastic bag was 12" x 12" with an extremely creased dress inside - 25 rhinestones fell off which are all glued on and the finishing of lace is all bitty and odd bits of cotton hanging everywhere - very shoddy - trying to send back - will have to advise my credit card company I think reading all the other reviews. Very very disappointed

Mother of bride dress £150 what a joke advertised as satin this was actually cheap material with blue netting over, has no shape complained, refused to take back, they suggested i get it altered locally 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am sorry but you can't polish a pooh. Avoid at all costs

I ordered two dresses, from AGown in good faith, delivery was a couple of weeks later than scheduled. The delivery was “apparently” made by our local driver as a photo of the parcel taken up against a brick wall was sent to me as evidence of delivery. I was out at the time of the supposed delivery and didn’t even know it had been delivered as no card was pushed through door. I eventually contacted AGOWN to enquire when I was to receive the dresses as my event was imminent. It was then that I get sent this photo saying it’s already been delivered. I have received no parcel or notification of delivery. When contacting AGOWN they just say it’s been delivered and send photo - blaming delivery service. I am now left out of pocket by £150, no product and had the added expense of buying another outfit. I have asked my neighbours. Looked around and no parcel in sight. Surely it is the companies responsibility to ensure parcels are received by the customer and get a signature on delivery or allow me to arrange another delivery date when I’m in, to prevent issues like this from happening. At the very least notification of delivery given. The customer service has been appalling. I’m passed around departments via email and no empathy, support or even any suggestion of meeting me in the middle by offering even a part refund and they don’t seem to care I am out of pocket and left extremely disappointed and unhappy about the lack of service, received. I would never order from this company again as they don’t have robust secure delivery systems in place and don’t care about their customers when things go amiss.

I wish I could give no stars and really wish I’d read the reviews. The suit I bought for my sons wedding was sent screwed up in a tiny package and is awful material with some of the embellishments missing. They are refusing to take it back and refund. Instead urging me to “try it on as it will look beautiful” !! Now they are asking if I’d like to order another one instead. Taken it up with my bank in the hope I get my £130 back. I feel a right idiot for trusting the company to send what I ordered!

Ordered a dress £140 at 5pm cancelled the order at 6pm to be told that the dress was already being made ?
now they are refusing to issue a refund and are saying
I have to pay 20% for the the material before I get a refund DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE no customer service at all I have raised a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back

Agown will you please stop sending me emails and please tell PayPal to stop sending me emails for payment for something I have not ordered and do not want I will not be giving you any money I won’t be responding to any more

How they have not been prosecuted I do not know.
Perfect material for a Watchdog-type tv expose.
We gave our dress to charity and wrote off the £100.
Lesson learnt.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - I purchased two dresses which were sent in a tiny bag, rolled up and creased, the dresses did look like the original advertised pictures, I sent them back recorded delivery to the returns address label on outside of package, a subsequent e mail was replied to 5 days later asking me to post back at my expense to a head office in China, I explained what had happened and they were not interested, no customer service, they are NOW asking me to PAY £100 by Pay Pal ???? these people are SCAMMERS and should NOT be in business, I have contacted Card Services FRAUD department of my card used and they are pursuing this, failing this I will contact my Solicitors and Trading Standards.

Lesson learned!!! Read reviews. I didn’t on this occasion. I will not repeat all I have read as my experience is identical. About to get my bank involved but wonder how this company are allowed to trade here. Surely Trading Standards should be involved. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

How I wish I had read the reviews on this company! My experience was horrendous ! I cancelled my order due to order taking too long ! I had to threaten them with solicitors to get my money back ! Do yourselves a massive favour and shop somewhere else !!!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I STUPIDLY DID NOT READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND. I PURCHASED A DRESS RECENTLY WHICH DID NOT FIT, IT ARRIVED IN A CREASED BALL HAVING BEEN PACKAGED IN FAR TOO SMALL A BAG. THE MATERIAL IS CHEAP AND SHINY. THEY WILL NOT ISSUE ME WITH ANY RETURN DETAILS HAVING REQUESTED THEM SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE TOLD ME TO GET IT ALTERED LOCALLY INSTEAD! THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT IT WILL COST ME FAR TOO MUCH TO POST TO THEIR BASE IN CHINA AND I AM NOW OUT OF POCKET FOR £111!

Horrendous outfit arrived.
I got my money back through the dispute process with my bank and left it with them to investigate.
They are asking me to return goods now at my own cost but I will not as I know I will not get anything back.

I would reiterate what everyone else has written. This company is a complete scam and needs to be put out of business. How they are allowed to continue trading is a mystery. Complete scam and their returns policy is clearly what keeps them afloat. Produce rubbish then refuse to refund. Do not use unless you have money to throw away

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO Not order from this site or lilygown same company, standard sizes to small or big. If you have any returns you do not get your money back even with proof of postage from the post office. Terrible service when I returned my item I was promised that I would get my refund when I purchased another item in its place so I did. I returned the first item to China costing 25 pounds still waiting for the refund. They told me that they have not received the item back this was in February and still no refund or response from them even though I have sent numerous emails and proof of postage don't touch this site not even worth 1 star but couldn't leave a review if I didn't click on a star

Exactly the same as all the other poor reviews. Dress did not fit, said I would return it and pay the postage, they will not give me their address. They say have it altered, try and sell it etc. offered 18% refund which I have refused. Still trying to sort it out but don’t think I’ll have any luck. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY-THEY ARE AWFUL

They are terrible. Wish I had known before I returned a dress, cost £24 to return. Received 16 th March. No refunf oh £161.99. Absolutely disgusting. Conning innocent people. I hope this review deters people from buying anything from them. Can’t complain about the quality but the service is atrocious. Despicable company. Should be barred from selling in the UK. Wish I had read these reviews first

Garments , nothing like the pictures . Then do everything not to pay you back .

Criminals ship out poor shoddy damaged goods nothing like there pics on website then refuse to give return address just give excuse after excuse get repaired altered or offer partial refund 10% 18% then 22% but after 20 emails no return address given and take about a week to reply claimed back from credit card company then email asking for compensation of 20 pounds to keep dress and not return will send PayPal address to pay compo I told them what they are
and not once was offered return address in nearly 2 months but since card company reimbursed me I have had 3 emails in 2 days and a return address which is china oh and they want it how it was sent and also tracking and 15 $ to cover customs told them dress is here and ready to collect has if it had said on there website it was from china and returns were to china I would not have entertained them so please avoid them they will rip you off they should be closed down for sending out crap goods

As others have detailed, the dress I ordered was of such poor quality and nothing like the dress I ordered. Like others who have written reviews I was told to get it altered locally and they would offer a small compensation. I have now demanded a full refund. They do not want to give me the address to return this awful dress. As others have mentioned I am now going to see if I can get my bank involved. Stay away from them
