I regret choosing AirSculpt for my lipo…

I regret choosing AirSculpt for my lipo 360 and petite BBL. I was told I was an appropriate fat-transfer candidate, had enough fat to create noticeable volume and would continue improving month after month. I relied on those statements when I agreed to spend approximately $12,000.

After the full healing period, I had no meaningful volume improvement and was left with loose skin, uneven or swollen pockets, contour irregularities and scarring. AirSculpt discussed additional skin tightening but expected me to pay for another procedure. After repeated attempts to resolve the matter and a formal written complaint, they stopped responding.

This is not about expecting perfection. It concerns the representations made before I agreed to the procedure and the lack of a reasonable resolution afterward. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AirSculpt. Please obtain an independent opinion and get every promise, revision policy and expected result in writing before committing.

Airsculpt Austin Nightmare

Anire Okpaku left me with significant injuries and deformities following my surgery at Airsculpt Austin. When I reached out for help, the company was completely dismissive. This is not just a bad company, these are truly bad people, in my opinion. Anire Okpaku should not be practicing medicine and Airsculpt should be shut down before any more patients have their lives wrecked by this man.

This is my email to them a month and a…

This is my email to them a month and a half ago that I did not receive a response from:

I don’t know why it took me so long to say this because I didn’t have the guts to say it to Dr. Chmielewski when I was in your office last month. But I really feel the need to tell you guys that for the type of procedures you do, and for the ridiculous amount of money that I spent for the procedure with a staggering amount of about $28,000, I am actually disappointed with the company’s work! I did tell my disappointment to the last nurse who was with me and Dr. Chmielewski during my last visit. Actually, after I left your office after the last visit, somebody seemed to have tried calling me but did not leave a message (so I didn’t really know what that was about) and did not follow after that. For that same amount of money, you all know, anyone could buy a new car! The results after 2 invasive procedures, still did not cut it (you can look at the pictures).

It just did not feel right for me being in the medical field and realizing that desperate customers who come to you, at that point, are willing to spend money in the tens of thousands of dollars just so things get done but it does not mean customers are willing to spend more if you guys cannot deliver on the first try. It’s just a lot of money for the risk but not get anywhere close to the desired effect the first time.. People work hard for that money maybe as much as you do.

Do yourself a favor. Get a true liposuction surgeon. Not a hipped up marketing fake story

I wish I would have read the reviews first.

I had gotten a quote from another liposuccion surgeon with high reputation for 8000$ and last min I fell for the hipped marketing of Airsculpt.

Hopping it would be less traumatic than regular lipo, I chose to pay more than double for Airsculpt.

The surgeon overly did the front part of my arm both taking too much fat out and doing too much skin tightening and none of the back was lifted so I ended up with bat arms and discussing looking arms in the front.

I had also chosen to do my neck and the surgeon only took out fat from under the chin and didn’t tithen the sides so I right away noticed that I had 2 parts that were hanging on each side of my neck, which looks horrible now.

My skin tightening on my stomach is like it never happened. It is still super loose.

After the surgery when I complained that she forgot to do skin tightening on my back bra rolls, the nurse first told me I had not paid for it to then say, of sorry it was on the second page! It was forgotten but no worry we do revisions for free.

Of course that isn’t true at all. They just told me that they do not do revisions for missed skin tightening, just my luck that they forgot many spots and overdid others to make the skin look horrible.

Do yourself a favor and go see a true liposuction surgeon with a good reputation that can attract his own clients without the need of Airsculpt marketing to get clients.

RUN!

If you like to be Medically Gaslit, Patient Neglect and Subpar Results, AirSculpt is for you!

I had a Tiny Tuck & J Plasma done on 6/3/2025 - full abdomen, upper, lower, waist & flanks. I have not been satisfied with the result of the Air-Tite/J-Plasma procedure since the beginning.

When I reached out to Airsculpt for information, I was prompted to send in photos and make an appointment which I did and requested an IN PERSON consultation. Again, I received an email prompting me to make an appointment. Trusting the process, I did. Once on the virtual call, Tiffany qualified herself with 17-18 years of experience in the industry, she was also a patient having used Airsculpt herself and she reviewed my photos - I realized this was now my consultation - a virtual one - not in person like I originally requested. She offered me 2 different procedures, the Tiny Tuck or J-Plasma saying I was a "perfect candidate" for both. I chose both procedures knowing I had a lot of extra skin on my lower belly - I didn't think J-PLasma alone would tighten it enough. I was correct. Had I listened to her, I would have only tried the J-Plasma, waited a year and then could have tried the Tiny Tuck if I wasn't pleased.

The first time I saw Dr. Kahn was on procedure day 6/3/2025. She noticed the extra skin around my belly button & we had a conversation about a vertical incision to help. I told her I was fine with a vertical incision, I can hide that with clothes, my main concern was not having a muffin top.

At the end of my procedure while still in the OR, Dr. Kahn said that she didn't have to do the vertical incision, she was able to get the results she wanted without it.

Dr. Kahn is no longer at the Austin Airsculpt office. She was driving in from Houston. This was a concern for me, due to all the material from AirSculpt indicating to take up any concerns with the Dr. that did the procedure. I called before the 3 month follow-up, to question this & was reassured that any doctor could help.
I met with the new Dr. I can't remember her last name but she wasn't able to speak for Dr. Kahn, while polite & professional, she was no help to me. She suggested to give my body more time.

Before my 6 month follow up, I sent in a text to the nurse's line of specific questions & concerns I had regarding the J-Plasma results. At the appointment, I was shocked when the nurse asked if I wanted to see a doctor?! Of course, I do! I sent an entire text indicating the concerns & issues I wanted to address. Again, the new Dr. came in but was of no help.

When I left the appointment that day, the receptionist did not try to schedule my 9 month follow up & I have not heard from the Austin Airsculpt office since.

Once again, I sent a text to the Nurse's line indicating my frustration and threatened to file complaints with the Medical Board & leave negative reviews everywhere.

Guess who called me?! Dr. Kahn. I haven't seen or spoken to her since my 1 month follow up. She said the Austin office was not forwarding her messages BUT the Austin office told me that she has not been responsive to their request to follow up with patients. Someone is Lying.

Dr. Kahn has NEVER answered this question - does Airsculpt offer the procedure Dr. Kahn & I spoke about requiring the vertical cut? Yes or No? If No, was this why she was defensive with me during my 1 month follow-up? If No, is this why it feels like I'm being gaslit? If Yes, then why didn't she opt to do the procedure when I agreed to it?

I assume they don't which is where the gaslighting comes in. Two other nurses where in the room with me when Dr. Kahn & I had the conversation, yet I've never seen them again.

It seems as if I'm being asked to settle for subpar results after being told that I was a "perfect candidate' for Tiny Tuck & J-Plasma. I absolutely expected my skin to be tighter. I do not see any improvement in the skin tightening especially around my belly button.

Would I have received different advice had my consultation been in person as requested? When I finally spoke to Dr. Kahn, I asked about a revision & what options I had. The new Dr. at Airsculpt said a 2nd round of J-Plasma would not help. Dr. Kahn said she's done it twice before using a certain technique to help get the skin tighter but I'd have to travel to Houston to have it done. I protested saying, I did not reach out to the Houston office, I reached out to the Austin office, I live in Austin & shouldn't be inconvenienced with travel to have a revision. I have decided not to waste any more of my time or money. I have not spoken to any employee of Airsculpt since my 6 month follow-up.

RUN!

RUN!! Run far, run fast and don’t look back. Dr. Perkins was introduced to me as the arm expert. If he’s the expert I’d hate to see who is the novice. I spent $8,000 to have two different shaped arms. My left arm is so disfigured I’m going to need corrective surgery. When I first had AirSculpt done my left arm was noticeably bigger than my right. I had wanted them done for my wedding. Since it was approaching and it was too soon to do another procedure he suggested I go to his other office where he could inject a fat dissolver. This injection was performed on me 3 times over several months with zero results. Because he had used this alternative method in another office I was no longer covered by the AirSculpt guarantee. Finally, he agreed to do liposuction on my arm again. He said the whole thing would take 10 minutes, and the nurse told my husband he can just wait in the car on the corner and they would escort me down after. I told the doctor the specific area I wanted him to fix. He did a completely different area, scooping too much fat out of my shoulder leaving me with a malformed arm and a weird type of scar. After the surgery they had me leave the office unaccompanied with an OxyContin and a Xanax in my system. I reached out a few times after the procedure about a follow up appointment, and I never received a call back. I’ve basically been ghosted by them as their only form of contact is a cell phone and they will not answer or return any of my calls. BEWARE- do your research! I didn’t and now have to deal with the results.
