Trust Broken

I have been with Airtime for about couple of years and encouraged friend and family to join. I was excited to see Love Holidays on their tracked system and purchased a holiday to Prague. I calculated this would get me back about £17 to out against my phone bill. This credit never came and there has been a continuous back and forth with me supplying and resulting evidence of this purchase. During which a Boots purchase has also not resulted in a credit now they want me to go and evidence this purchase but I’ve already supplied some details. In short it’s a good concept and worked well for a bit but this has broken my trust. I just received a definitive you did nit use the link to buy your holiday when I know factually I did. I was midst of responding when I thought I wonder if this is a IT glitch or a common occurrence that’s when I went to Trustpilot to find that I am not the only person that has been let down and put through this nonsense due to their poor IT system. If they cannot honour their basic concept they become untrustworthy. Sad because it seemed to be a good thing.

Bad customer service

I have used this app for years and never had an issue until now. I am missing a redemption on my phone bill for April and I have contacted customer service with proof of phone bills, screen shots of my direct debits on my bank statements to proove the redemption did not happen and I have been ignored. Emails back and forth and I get scripted emails back for over a month! I’m £10 down and never recieved and getting ignored after saying I didn’t receive a text message saying it’s been taken off my phone bill! Really disappointed with the customer service, might aswell not have one as they don’t help at all and fobbed me off!

Its ok could be better savings and more brands added lile next , fatface , primark ete.

Its good but takes ages to get rewards back and laterly less saved you have to spend loads to get back needs more of a save over 4% plus to make worth while saving. And needs plenty more networks on board which you can link your phone number to. Other than that its great saver for money off phone bill in cost living crisis that the uk goverment seem to ignore with prices on everything going up and wages down taxes up.

Impossible to contact and app doesn't work.

I signed up because of a recommendation from my phone provider but the app wouldn't work. I tried contacting Airtime but kept getting "error, try again later". I deleted the app with a request for the company to delete my personal and bank card details but they still email and track my shopping. I keep trying to message them to delete my details but just get the error message. I don't trust the company and wish I'd read the recent reviews before sending my bank card details. I just want them to cancel my membership and not hold my bank card information!

Used to be great years ago

Used to be great years ago, would get loads of rewards but now hardly any of the shops I shop at are on there! Or you have to use a specific link or buy a gift card which I don't want to do. I haven't earnt a single penny in all of May! Bring back Costa coffee, m&s, next etc. I'm not interested in designer clothes brands or shein, boohoo etc

A small amount towards my phone bill.

When I joined Airtime rewards, many years ago, I purchased gift cards. If I purchased so many per month then I would accumulate a bonus. Now gift cards do not count towards that bonus, which is very disappointing.
Rewards for buying gift cards has reduced by customer. I still buy gift cards as they do help towards my mobile phone bill, just nowhere near as much, which is why only the 4 stars.

Used to be a great way to save money on your phone bill. However lately transactions are missing and even though you submit a missing transaction form, send the receipt and bank statement they say it doesn’t meet the criteria. I think it’s because the reward would have been £47.04 and that is the real reason. They say it’s because my bank statement doesn’t show the last 4 digits of my card. Whose bank account does this? Customer service is very slow to reply. Absolute joke

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been disappointed with your recent experience. We understand how frustrating it is when a transaction doesn’t track as expected, especially for a larger reward amount.
To clarify, the rewards are funded and approved by the retailer, so when investigating missing transactions we do need certain information to confirm that the purchase was made using a registered payment card. This helps us work with the retailer to investigate any tracking concerns properly.

We appreciate that not all bank statements display the last 4 digits of the card used, and we apologise for any frustration caused during this process. We’re also sorry to hear you’ve found response times slower than expected, and we’ll make sure your feedback is passed on to improve on our support.

Not happy !!!!

Made an in App purchase with TUI - followed the instructions and completed. When I checked my emails to see TUI confirmation I noticed Airtime had also emailed me to say they had saved my “link”. They sent the same email later that day. Slightly confused so contacted them to say “why did you send these - I already did the purchase in App”. Next thing I know they are telling me their records show I did not use the App !!!!! Complete lies - come on Airtime sort this out !!!!

Update 19 May : thank you Airtime for looking into this and resolving.

They give great rewards on your O2 bill. They also listen to you when you ask about certain rewards and reply to you.

Refusing to let me redeem and poor customer service

Tried to redeem to my network (Three) and the funds were deducted from my Airtime balance but were not sent to the network and it's still marked as 'pending' on the Airtime app. Contacted support but they haven't done anything and it's been 14 days since I first contacted them. Not sure if they have financial difficulties as they're not letting me withdraw my rewards (which is within their £20 per month cap).

EDIT: I'm still getting no response from customer service - I responded to their TrustPilot enquiry but still haven't had any response.

A great incentive

A great incentive! Very straightforward and easy to understand how it’s done. The rewards load up pretty quick and it is great to have the option of reducing your bill with the points or receive it in cash.
A great way to earn as you spend! Definitely recommend!
