Well organised “Magnifico Spain & Portugal” with many inclusions. Wonderful guide Darren and excellent coach driver made the experience pleasurable. Excellent accommodations and meals. Visited all the wonderful sites the towns had to offer.

This was my fourth tour with Albatross and didn’t disappoint.
Excellent tour guide

Our Albatross tour of Sicily & Malta was the first larger tour we’ve ever done. Previous tours were only 10 -12 people & we were surprised when this “small group” was 27 people. We feel it would be a much better experience with a smaller maximum number.
All our travel was well organised & we were very well informed about the regions we travelled.
The meals were good to excellent except for a few where there was just “too much” food for us.
The longer stays in each location were excellent for a getting a better feel for a place & exploring. We really appreciated those stays.
Special thanks to our tour guide & our bus driver in Sicily - both did excellent jobs.

Our tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, Darren, was absolutely fantastic. He genuinely cared for each group member & made every effort to optimise our experience. He was informative, shared sightseeing photos to add to our memories & during “my time” ensured each member was well informed, safe & making the most of their experiences. Having multi night stays at each venue minimised the unpacking repacking hassle.
We highly recommend Albatross tours.

Excellent tour - Andrea Rieu, the Rhine & Moselle valleys. Firstly, we want to commend our tour guide / manager; Darren; who was outstanding & our driver; Marcus. Darren generously shared his expert knowledge of the region & brought our experience to life. This is our second Albatross tour together (my partner’s fourth) & our repeat custom shows just how happy we are with the Albatross experience. We got so much out of our tour with the expert guide who showed us things we would never have thought to see ourselves. The whole experience from booking, organisation, the coach, the hotels, dinners, tours & tour experiences was outstanding. We will be back for more. Thank you Darren, Marcus & the Albatross team.

Our guide was a little difficult at times, after a question he would often say
“ I told you that yesterday “ the thing is we couldn’t always under stand the French way of saying the names of places
Living in Australia we are so far removed from other languages it takes a lot of hard listening to get your head around the dialect. I also think the amount of walking should be brought to attention.

The tour guide, Rosaria for the Deep South, Sicily tour was fantastic and wonderful.

She was very knowledgeable and funny, as she came from Sicily so my brother and I could relate to her well given our heritage is from Sicily.

She was very professional, diligent and intermingled and related well with all the tour participants and others she met.

Both my brother and I really enjoyed her company and the tour.

I recently went on the Grande Italy tour. This was my 4th Albatross tour. I thoroughly enjoyed Italy. Helen Sheehan was the guide, and Fabio was the bus chauffeur. Helen was a fantastic guide and catered to everyone's needs and was friendly and well informed about Italy. Fabio was a great driver - very professional. I would recommend this tour.

Hotels, number of nights in each and quality of tours and free time.
Fantastic Bonus was Darren & Yassin. They made any aspect of ther trip not a problem to deal with.

I enjoyed my resent bus tour of Sardinia and Corsica. It was a very well-constructed tour bringing in many aspects of the local culture. Our tour director was fabulous and kept us on the move and on time always. Our accommodation was most satisfactory. My only complaint would be about the food, too much of it!! It is very nice to have their traditional dinners, but I found all the meals far too big.

Our guide was exceptional. Accomodation was good mostly. Itinery was excellent

What’s not to love. The bigger bus, the longer stays, fabulous locations and accommodation, the passengers , free time and great food. Albatross has it all.

The group of people I travelled with, the places we visited, with the exception of Panarea and Stromboli islands, were most interesting, and the periods of 'My Time' were much appreciated. Our Tour Director, Misia, was most knowledgeable as were the local guides in various towns. We could have had at least one extra day in Valletta as there was so much to see.

I loved the choice of Itinerary...the places we visited were amazing. I also appreciated the fact that we stayed more than 1 night in all the towns where we had accommodation. The accommodation choices were superb from Castlebrando perched high up on a hill, to a beautiful waterfront hotel in Stresa and the divine white palace on the Amalfi coast...the list goes on. Our tours with local guides and meals were also first class. ALBATROSS TOURS will always be my choice.

First time in Europe & this was a grrat first experience travelling with Darren & Yassin. They were perfect hosts and opened my eyes to magnificent Spain & Portugal.
Full days of exploring & learning was balnced with enjoying the sights, food & customs of the locals.
Even those fellow experienced travellers commented on how good Darren, Yassin & the tour structure was - so I feel privileged to have had this life changing experience.

- Good accommodation. Due to heat it would have been good if more inland hotels had pools.
- Knowledgeable tour guide and excellent coach driver.
- Stays of 3 to 4 nights at the one place we’re superb with day trips from those points to major attractions. Saves packing up/unpacking on a daily basis which is appealing to tourists in our age group.
- Food generally good but disgraceful at venues in Montecatini and Minori.

Great tour leader who bent over backwards to make our whole day as pleasant and as smooth as possible. She was so “on the ball” with every little detail.
Our bus driver who squeezed his way perfectly in the hardest of streets/ lanes.
The tour was so much better than we expected with so much included, we were amazed.
Loved each new place we went to and all the hotels we stayed in.
Would go again in a heartbeat and highly recommended.

Enjoyable trip. The guide (Gilberto) and The driver (Massimiliano) were excellent.
Accommodation and breakfast at Villa Margherita were suboptimal. They seemed not ready to receive guests (I think we were the first lot of guests, after the winter closure). The next hotel (Aemilia Hotel, Bologna) was excellent, the others were good to very good.

Very inclusive tour, with a great group of travelers and a fantastic tour guide, Helen Sheehan, and a fantastic coach driver, Fabio.
