If l could have left zero stars l would have. Like other customers experiences, they will do anything to steal your deposit including lying and deceitful methods. Do not touch these thieving scum

The below is regarding an experience with the Dunstable branch. Tom Spencer-Lewis lied about grant of probate being already in place when I made an offer on the property. After some delays, Gary Brooks tried to sell me a story about the sellers solicitors having trouble with the application due to issues with the death certificate, basically perpetuating the lie. I later came to know that the owner the grant of probate related to had passed away on the day the property went on the market - which obviously means the grant of probate could never have been in place at that poin in time. When Tom was confronted, not only did he deny everything but also threatened to tell the sellers to pull out immediately in a away that really shows his true self and lack of character. The branch manager was also aware of the lie. Laura Curtis (sales admin) is useless. These people only see the figures, despite the fake veil of courteousness that they cleverly use and will go to any extent to strike a deal. Julia was quite helpful but all I needed from her was a menial task. A quick chat with someone who used to work at this branch revealed their view is pretty much the same: bullish sales people who think they can do whatever they want, constant price pushing and mostly rude staff.

I have called the Aylesbury lettings team 3 teams over the last 6 months to enquire about properties for rent. Possibly the most obnoxious and rude people I've every spoken to. Talk to you like you are the dirt from the bottom of their shoe. Not sure if it's always the same girl but they really do need to learn what "customer service" means. Their landlords may be their clients, but tenants pay their wages!

Avoid if you can, or don't pay them any deposit. They will do anything to keep your deposit

This company withheld vital information about a house sale which meant we lost money and time in a completely avoidable situation, had they just been honest. We not only spent solicitor/search fees but we also completed on our house sale, moving into temporary accomodation with our two young children on the promise that everything was progressing exactly as it should be. Unbeknown to us, the house had been sold twice before, with the most recent purchasers waiting for an entire year before being left with no choice but to pull out, because the gentleman still residing at the property had absolutely no intention of leaving (it was a sale due to divorce). We lost 5 months of time, lost £££, and had so much hassle due to their dishonesty!!
