Caution for Freelancers and Contractors
I worked with this company under a formal hourly contract for several months, providing professional marketing services including strategy development, content creation, CRM management, and marketing automation.
While the engagement started off professionally, it quickly became clear there were serious issues with payment reliability. Despite delivering consistent, results-driven work, I experienced long delays in payment — and was ultimately not paid at all for the final three months, totaling over $7,000 owed.
After following up multiple times, the company suddenly claimed my work was "unsatisfactory" — a claim that only surfaced after payment was due and despite strong performance metrics. In our final conversation, I was given an ultimatum: “Negotiate a lower rate or get nothing.”
This review is not written lightly. I’m sharing it as a warning to other contractors: If you choose to engage with this business, insist on weekly payment terms and put clear protections in place. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with them unless payment terms are enforced upfront.
