Changed my life entirely. From chain smoker for years, to completely free now for more months than I can count. All it took was those few hours. I tried EasyWay once before this, but it didn’t work. Something clicked the last time.

Here’s what I realised after a couple weeks of no smoking. It’s what non-smokers saw from the beginning. Allen carr’s ‘way’ isn’t some secret method, life hack, nor brainwashing.. it is the genuine truth. Every single myth and excuse to continue smoking is tackled one by one, until nothing is left. As a non-smoker looking back now.. the truth is so blatantly obvious. Open your mind, question everything rationally.. including this method itself. Critical thinking is key. Forever grateful.

The online course was ok however I didn't really want to stop when I attended as other stressors in my life were taking priority. This being the case, I didn't stop smoking. Even though they say stopping after their course doesn't require willpower, of course it does!

In the 5 weeks since the course, I've recieved 24 text messages and 5 calls! I'm declining all of the calls because I don't want to have to justify myself to strangers who are texting me non-stop.

A smoker since my teens, many years ago and have tried again and again to stop...... every method possible. Decided to try AC seminar in November...... although I was sceptical for sure. Really connected to so much that was said during the 6 hours..... I am deaf so I know I missed lots! Was not 'ready' to stop that day...... so bought the book and read it....
Had my last cigarette in January, when I decided that 'today was the day' to be a non smoker. I have an answer for my wee/big monsters....... 'Thank you but I choose not to have a cigarette'...... I believe I am finally free after over 40 years. A very different approach and if you are ready to be free........you CAN do it too! Thanks to AC and his method I am a non smoker!

Was sitting waiting for the seminar to start listen to the “host” demanding people turn the cámara and mic on when there was nothing stating that need for people to be seen. Was told to leave if I didn’t want to “do as I was told” by the man obviously couldn’t handle the fact I didn’t and have a right not to show my face.

Read this book 16 years ago and still haven't touched a cigarette since! Never wanted one ,never craved. I am about to try the easy way to lose weight

Leí el libro hace 25 años , no lo entendí muy bien y dejé de fumar pero duró poco solo 3 meses. El libro vuelve a caer en mis manos hace 1 mes esta vez en audiolibro (en mi opinión es muchísimo mejor, voy hacia atrás todas veces que necesito hasta entender los conceptos) a diferencia de la primera vez me siento muy feliz de no fumar no tengo ansiedad ni siento que he perdido nada, al revés. En esta ocasión he entendido el libro perfectamente, ya no fumo y en mi cabeza y mi cuerpo todo son ventajas. Cuando logras entender LA TRAMPA ya lo tienes!!!!

I’ve been trying to quit smoking recently - and my first review was a little manic. I’ll try again for the benefit of anyone wishing to stop vaping and who may be considering this online group based seminar.

Firstly I will say the girls in the office were lovely and gave me a full immediate refund. I can’t knock them for that. Kiera was really kind. She should run the seminars.

1. If you vape and also smoke or don’t mind people smoking cigarettes - then the Allen Carr online group seminar to quit smoking and vaping would be fine for you I’m sure.
2. If you vape and don’t wish to be reminded of cigarette smoking - then I would say this is not a good course for you. And by reminded, I mean having to sit and watch a group of 14 random strangers chain smoke in front of you for five hours.
3. When an online therapist opens the session by explaining she won’t take any nonsense and the main thing about her rule number one is that you must and will relax - this can make you feel not relaxed.
4. If you are expecting them to deliver this course with empathy and compassion then you may be disappointed - I did not feel those things today.
5. If you respectfully disagree with the leader of this course when openly challenged by them, they may ask you to leave.
6. Overall today was a bad day. I don’t like trying to stop using nicotine and sadly Allen Carr and his legacy of care givers and life bringers did not make me quit. They actually made me worse. So for all the fun and games - Allen wouldn’t like that I don’t think.

I attended an online seminar in November 2024 and have been a happy non-smoker ever since.

I had been smoking for 37 years and nothing I previously tried had worked.

Since quitting I feel much healthier and every day I add money to my 'quitting savings' and I now have hundreds of pounds to spend on something that's not going to potentially kill me.

I thought it was very insincere of them to offer a full refund within 3 months - they refused this and it did not work - I did not like the way the course was done and the bossy manner of the instructor. I think if they promise a refund then they should honor that when asked. There were people on my course who had done the course at least 1 time before so it didn't seem to be working for many people. I then paid the same amount asgain for a hypnotherapy course which has worked wonderfully and what actually worked for Allan carr in the 1st instance if you read his book so I would save money and do that. No one should promise a refund then refuse it. They even tried to say I was given terms that said I had to repeat it several times within 3 months to get the refund and I do not have lots of days to dop that nor repeat something that is clearly unpleasant for me, far too long and as a single parent with children and animals I cannot just take long days our repeatedly. Really awful experience and just felt totally taken advantage of.

Total waste of a day, full of fluff and false claims,a waste of NHS funds and taxpayers money.

I signed after after my local NHS ran adverts, after reading completely overly inflated claims about their success rate.

I also convinced 7 of my friends to sign up for the course as well, I wasted a day listening to the utter garbage and especially the lies they spouted about the vape industry. The only thing out of the day that was of any use was the hypnotherapy at the end, which was useless as well as I was smoking 15 minutes later!

Coincidentally all 6 of my 7 friends were smokingf within minutes/hours as well the other lasted 3 days.

That flies in the face of their 50% claims, and is by far the most useless method I have tried to date.

It's clearly just a money making venture designed to milk as much money from smokers and the NHS as possible.

Then today I got a text message (which promoted me to write this review) (the first i've heard from them in a month) saying this:-

"Hey - please, please take a moment to let us know how you've got on since your Allen Carr stop smoking seminar. It'll take one second. The NHS need to keep careful records to ensure they are able to provide the service to others in the future. Just reply to this text:
Reply Y to confirm you are a non-smoker (i.e. no cigarettes in the last 2 weeks)"

Where is the option to say N for NO? or U for Useless?

I have tried all types of methods for giving up smoking,

1, Champix - gave up for 3 months before the psychological efects made me sick

2, 1 on 1 hypnothereapy - gave up for 8 weeks

3, Thiose funny tablets from Autralia - utter con

4, Patches and gum - 6 months

5, Vaping - I've not smoked in 4 weeks and counting

6, Allan Carr - 15 minutes

Please don't waste your money!

Attended Allen carrs easy way to quit smoking seminar in Doncaster and also bought and read the accompanying book. This way of approaching and stopping smoking is nothing short of miraculous…o have smoked heavily for over 30 years and didn’t believe i had the willpower to stop…following this method i not only stopped immediately i have also absolutely enjoyed the process! not one craving or urge to smoke…no feeling grumpy or deprived…in fact from the minute i stopped i have felt wonderful! Thank you to Allen Carr and all his team for giving me my life back!

I bought the "easy way" to control Alchohol, read cover to cover, and am trying to quit. However, I feel a bit duped as all through the book its dismisses AA etc and others because all they rely on is "willpower".On reaching the end I found that ultimately the book is telling you how you have been brainwashed over alchohol and now you know ...really that only leaves " willpower " to stay of it! So there is no real "easy way"!

After years of trying to quit with will power and always going back to smoking, a few simple but powerful ideas from Allen Carr made it very easy to stop and never pick up a cigarette or vape again.

The method is effective regardless of the medium I'm sure, but for me I don't think the prerecorded videos are worth it - reading the book or listening to the audiobook is cheap and gets the same message across. I did this for other addictions covered by the Easyway method and it worked just as well.

Regardless, 5/5 for providing a way to quit smoking that actually works. The kind of advice you get on government sites and addiction services makes quitting even more difficult than it needs to be by making you feel like you're going to go through hell. Easyway just lets you quit immediately and get on with life, so highly recommended.

I personally didn't like this program. I didn't like the wordings used in the hypnotherapy section and the aftercare is full on harassment. Even after saying you're not interested you get so many calls and voicemail messages. I've had to block multiple numbers from them now. It's ridiculous

This book set me free. Years of smoking reduced to a bad dream. Alan has given me my life back and I will always be extremely grateful.

Yeah just doesnt work unfortunately. It relies A LOT on will power they just define will power in a really weird way. You will eventually fall back into nicotine if you have any social life. They will basically try to brainwahs you into thinking quitting is easy if you follow their steps to enforce you into believing yourself it is easy even when it's not. I became very aggravated even a week after quitting and became depresser and separated from my family. I thought this was what I had to do because I was so brainwashed into thinking it would be easy. I finally started smoking again because I realised their method just relies on cheap hypnosis. It's so funny I used to read all the notes I took on the seminar everytime I wanted a cigarette, it was all a waste of time in the end. I gave it one star as although it's free it really made me struggle with personal relationships.

I attended several seminars from 2022 to 2023, but they didn't work for me, which was a surprise as I really wanted to quit. They advised attendees that it should be easy and that we shouldn’t have to rely on 'willpower' to stop. In the past, after reading the Easyway book, I successfully quit smoking for three months, giving me hope that the clinic would work. During the last session, I was advised to take a break, as maybe the information would work better afterward. When I requested an online group session for additional support, I was denied due to their policy requiring attendance at all backup sessions within a year. Feeling let down, especially since I had stopped attending based on the trainer's guidance, I found it disappointing that a company claiming to assist people in quitting smoking appeared more focused on money. They suggested I pay again for attendance, offering only a small discount. I would advise attendees to make sure that you read the small print and possibly request your money back if it doesn’t work after attending the two backup sessions if it didn’t work for you.
