For me this is the only way to stop smoking. It makes the whole process easy and enjoyable. I read the book and once I understood everything I knew I would never smoke another cigarette again! Can't thank Allan Carr and his method enough for setting me free.
I would just like to say I can not thank the team at alan Carr enough. I had a seminar with a guy called rob absolutely brilliant every thing he said made sense and I actually feel I have the tools and knowledge to not smoke again been 12 days today really can’t thank use enough and if anyone is struggling and would like to kick the filthy cigarette up you should definitely get in touch with alan Carr’s team absolutely brilliant
I attended an Allen Carr Easyway clinic seminar, in August 2008, to attempt to kick my 25-30 cigarette addiction. I'd been a smoker for many years, and any previous attempt to stop, failed miserably. The session which was situated in Stoke, lasted 6 hours. You are encouraged to smoke whilst you are there, at various intervals, until you extinguish your last cigarette. I stopped immediately forever, with no withdrawal pangs. Despite me going in there with an open mind, I was astonished how easy it was to stop, and to stop permanently. I went to a different session in Birmingham, in January 2020. I'm pleased to say I haven't drank since. The people at Allen Carr are wonderful, and if you have any doubt about these courses, you get your money back after 3 months, if it doesn't work for you. This is based on their impressive success rate. If I can stop, and beat these addictions, anyone can. Allen Carr Easyway is The only way.
Allen Carr’s Easyway method is exactly what it claims to be! An easy and painless way to escape the smoking trap.
The live seminar is the best way to take in the method, but the online video program and the books are great options too!
Whichever medium you select, just remember to keep an open mind, follow the instructions and really think about how what Allen says relates with your own smoking.
There is a money back guarantee if for some reason the method doesn’t work for you. So, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
Give it a go, I promise, you’ll be so happy that you did!
All the best!

Smoking is a curse that everyone thinks is difficult to stop but the Allen Carr method for quitting is amazing. It's one of those that people will ask you "What did they say, how did they get you to quit" and you can't answer but trust me when I tell you it works with no anguish or withdrawal symptoms. If you have tried everything and nothing worked, or even if you have already quit but still crave cigs then read the book or go to a seminar or both. I have the book since the mid 2000's and will never get rid of it - just in case. Good luck.

I attended a weight loss & sugar addiction session back in February 2019 and it is quite possibly one of the best things I’ve ever done. I walked out of the session not wanting to eat any junk – which really is a miracle when I think back to how I used to eat! I’m so glad I went for it and attended.
I’ve since gone on to read the mindfulness and tech addiction books which have also been a revelation for me.
Thanks so much Allen Carr and all the team – you’ve been so lovely and helpful in freeing me from addiction!
The live group session worked a treat for me. I’d read the book without success but knew that there was something in the method that spoke to me so I signed up for a live group session. The session was led by someone who used the method themselves and was a great guide
I can’t recommend the session highly enough - it saved my life!
TLDR: Tried several times, didn't work, they didn't give me my money back like they promise. Most of the attendees had done it before but were re-doing it because it hadn’t worked, which raises questions over their success rate claims.
I feel genuinely scammed by this company.
I paid £300 to attend their stop smoking seminar and I made that decision based on two things - the alleged high success rate, and the safety net of a money back guarantee if it doesn't work.
They claim that one session is enough for most people to quit smoking forever...there were 8 attendees in my first session but 50% of them had attended Allen Carr seminars before. Despite this contradictory evidence I tried not to let it affect my experience.
Two weeks later I was a smoker again. I attended my first 'back up' session shortly after. There was three of us this time and all of us had previously attended a seminar. The next day I was smoking again.
I attended my final 'back up session' a few weeks later and the effect was nothing. The first thing I did after the session finished was go for a cigarette.
Ok, everyone's different, and not all methods will work for all people. I can accept that. Disappointingly, I wrote to customer services to begin the process of getting my money back.
Lo and behold there was some small print which meant they wouldn't give me my money back - I didn't attend the back up sessions within the time limit they specified (even though I went to the first available sessions they sent me). Unsurprisingly this loophole was not made clear by any of the instructors I had, despite customer services telling me it should have been.
I would not recommend this to anyone who's a smoker. The instructors were incredibly annoying, the process is long and arduous, and if you're anything like me you'll still be a smoker, and £300 poorer, at the end of it all.

Works. Today is my 6 month quitiversary. Didn't believe the reviews. "How will a book help when nothing else has". I was pack a day marlboro red smoker of 25 years, traded smoking for vaping for the last 5. Got to chapter 4 in the book and quit cold turkey, haven't looked back.
I kept waiting for some magical a-ha moment in the book that would change my life. Kept reading to get to this great big moment. There isnt one. The book drones on, and on, and on, in the most irritating way. Chapter 4 isn't special. Its just as irritating and boring as the rest of the book. The way it works is subtle and insidious. It sneaks into your thoughts, little by little, and begins to unwire them.
See, in order to be an addict, you have to lie to yourself. "I'll quit tomorrow. I need it to relax. I enjoy it. It feels good. Quitting hurts."
The book knows every lie. It shows you what a liar you are. It incessantly repeats each lie that you tell yourself, and counters each lie with the actual truth of reality, droning on and on until you want to quit just to make the book shut the hell up because you can't stand the nagging but also have no way to reply because you know it's right.
Every damn time you try to look at nicotine, the book's insidious little subterfuge in your thoughts becomes apparent. You hear it whisper, "pssss...you know you're only resetting the clock on your withdrawal. But go ahead, you do you. Go start withdrawal all over again."
The book starts taking up more real estate in your head. Now it greets you first thing in the morning before your brain is even on, just as your hand fumbles for your nicotine. "Oh is that how you're starting your day? Youve been nicotine free for 8 hours and you want to start the clock all over? Hmm, pity." Omg. I'm not even awake yet, shut up.
It chirps its incessant nagging at lunch. "More nicotine? Ya know you only want it so you can feel like a nonsmoker. Just saying."
Driving home from work: "Wow, again? But you do what you want. Climbing stairs is overrated anyway." Okay thank you now shutup
At bedtime: "Your lungs could have been so pretty if you just tried a little harder. But ya know, it's your life."
Little by little, the book moves in your brain and makes itself cozy. The chirping gets louder and louder and more and more frequent. It becomes an unwanted guest, puts its feet up on the coffee table and rudely chirps its opinions about how you live your life, in your own damn home. All day. Every day. It doesn't end. It wears on you, until eventually you reply, "OMG FINE I WONT SMOKE JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE".
And then suddenly the nagging stops. And the relief from the nagging feels better than nicotine.
Bam. You quit. Cuz a book irritated you into it. Thank you Allen Carr!
WOW 🤩 A five star review isn’t high enough. Highly recommend.
This book completely changed my perspective and mindset on smoking. I had to nauseatingly force myself through my final cigarette at the end of the book, I was thoroughly excited to extinguish it! Not only did your book help my sister and I, but due to Chapter 44 my parents (smokers of 30+ years) are also intrigued to read it!
3 weeks today since I quit this awful habit and haven't smoked/vaped since thanks to Allen Carr's easy-way (in particular Sam who hosted the session). What scared me most about quitting was the fear of the withdrawal symptoms and how I would feel. The programme takes away these fears and really does make it easy to quit! If you are on the fence absolutely sign up - it will change your life.

Easy way to stop smoking is the best way you can sto p smoking
and it doesn't cost you anything but you'll gain more eventually after reading the book.
I am 34 and have smoked for 18 years. I had tried NRT, read your book and even been to your clinic. Unfortunately, I was not mentally ready to absorb your wisdom properly. Events arose in my life which I used as a pathetic excuse to carry on with the illusion that I NEEDED the weed! How stupid I feel now having read your book again and truly absorbed your words. I thank you so very much for what you've done for us all. I am a NON-SMOKER and sooo excited to continue my life with all those sweet benefits of not smoking!
This book changed my life. I was a heavy vaper for about 5 years after starting with cigarettes about 10 years ago. It had become ingrained in my mind that I needed nicotine for stress, confidence, and relaxation. Reading this book was like my eyes were opened to understand that I wasn't gaining anything from nicotine. I wasn't even expecting to stop, I just read the book because I came across it and was interested in how a book could possibly help me stop vaping. But I'm now four months free of all nicotine and could not be happier. Please read, it may change your life!
I was a smoker for nearly 22 years. After having my first child, I knew that my days of being a smoker would be counted. Yet still, my daughter was 3 years old, when she would imitate me smoking from behind the glass window. She would put her finger to her lips and pretend she was mommy. That's when I knew, I had to quit as she was now beginning to understand what mommy was doing. I bought the book by Allen Carr on the Easyway to quit smoking, yet I hated looking at that book. I felt it was a threat, and I didn't even want to open or begin reading. I left it there on the shelf even though I had heard from friends that the book actually encourages you to smoke as you read. I didn't read it until after I quit smoking cold turkey. I was literally going crazy. I was depressed and felt I had lost my only friend in the world. It was like going through a hard beak up or even a divorce. I could not get that cigarette out of my mind. I was consumed in thought. I felt like my days no longer had purpose. When the clock would hit the times I'd smoke I would feel depressed. I had to be around people just so I'm not alone with my thoughts. That's when I picked up the book and started reading. I couldn't stop reading. In the book the addiction to nicotine was referred to as the "little monster" to me that did the trick. I saw what affect that little monster had on my body. As the days went by, I would see how my body was reacting. I would wake up in sweat. My body was cleansing itself from that little monster is what I started believing.
This all happened back in 2013. Now we are in 2020, and it's been so long since I have quit. Now I have two beautiful girls who I devote all my time to. I have more time to give people everywhere because I'm no longer in that rush to get my next fix. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME WAKE UP AND SAVE MYSELF!
Best thing I ever did. So glad I gave up. Was lucky enough to get a free seminar though my work. I put my name down for it and as the date got closer and closer I thought I probably won’t go. An email was sent round saying if you put your name down but didn’t attend you would be charged for it. This was enough incentive. I thought I’ll give it a try and I’m so glad I did. It’s not magic, you do have to make a bit of an effort, you have to have an open mind and accept what they’re saying. You just don’t have that same craving as when you give up alone. I thought about cigarettes for about a month afterwards, not craving, just on my mind. After that I never looked back and it’s been 12 years now.
Honestly shocked at the Allen Carr team, I joined a seminar in Bournemouth on Saturday, during the seminar I did have a lot of questions, and seemingly the guy started picking on me the whole time through out, I even asked him to stop as I would leave if he continued to pick on me. At the end of the seminar I did feel I wouldn’t smoke again, however during the rushed hypnotherapy at the end, I started feeling agitated and wanting a smoke!!
After the drive back was irritated already and by the time I got home I desperately wanted a smoke. Next morning I contacted through messenger and asked for support, however the support wasn’t available untill Monday morning by which point my smoking was back to the way it was, I admit I was panicked and upset and desperate for the information and the help, only to be rudely responded too by the team, saying how I’d made a complaint but he had helped me by giving me the phone number, that I can get from the online page but never mind apparently this was the help!
Next I wait till 9am to call the main line, only to be told to wait and they would reach me, which they did, with “ we have refunded your money, and your behaviour during and after the seminar has been taken into account and your never to contact this company again’ and she hung up!
Behaviour? By which you mean the questions I asked during the seminar or the the fact that the guy came to hug me afterwards which made me very uncomfortable and as I was the only one left as I sitting the furthest from the door, I think was very inappropriate of the seminar leader!
I get told not to come back When clearly their stupid method dosnt work! Only 53% success rate here people!
Absolutely shocking treatment by these people, have zero compassion or empathy if the seminars don’t work for you.
Bunch of horrible ex smokers !
I'm glad to tell Karen, (sorry I couldn't speak English, I use Chinese first, and then find a translation software translated into English send mail, please forgive me if expression error), I through his books "this book allows you to quit smoking quit smoking for five years, I felt very happy after quitting.
At the same time, I found that the phenomenon of smoking is particularly common in China, for example, to meet foreign film was shaking hands hug or kiss, in China's rural areas, meet people will pass a cigarette in the past, said hello. My name is Hu Xiaohong, 35 years old this year, in the electricity industry, home and family are rural people, now that I've lost four relatives, my mother's brother, my dad's brother-in-law, my mother's brother-in-law, my grandpa, grandpa died is 86) the four relatives are died of lung cancer, smoke at the end of their life, at the end of the smoking ill spent a lot of money in the home, there is no cure.
Pay taxes on tobacco company is the first large company in China, cigarette prices are high, it has brought China's rural people are certain consumption, some three packs of cigarettes a day, on average, ten yuan a pack, overhead is 30 yuan a day, the number of rural people is a lot of spending.
