Knew nothing about the wormhole that guitar modifications can get you lost in! Thanks! Hae bought the parts and will resort to local guitar tech guru to do the rest.

Pounds of fretwire? Who knew?
Unusual to find fretwire by weight, but it was what I was looking for. I expected a pound to be about 60 ft and coiled. One pound was 42ft in 21 2ft pieces, so potential for more waste, but still a healthy amount at a significantly lower price per metre than other retailers.
