Don't waste your money on this tour

Don't waste your money on this tour. It's not what we expected. We booked this because this seemed to be the only tour offering a longer ATV ride and we couldn't find a place that offered just an ATV tour. Most of these tours combine cenotes and ziplines. We were staying in Tulum so we had a meeting time and location to be picked up. The driver was late and then we spent another 30 mins at another meeting location waiting on others to join us. There was a guy that came by that tried to sell us bug spray, water shoes, a bandana, and a waterproof case for your phone. We had brought all of those items so we didn't need to buy them. I would recommend buying only the waterproof phone case. You don't need a bandana for the ATVing (it's not as dusty as you think) and you won't really need bug spray or water shoes. The drive to the tour is not far from Tulum, but it is a very bumpy ride when we got off the main road. When we got there, there was little instruction given as to what we should do with our bag, phones, etc. Luckily, there were lockers that you could put your stuff in. The first part is ATVing. This was probably the most disappointing. The ATVs were not well maintained and often broke down. Not to mention, we went so slow that it made it not pleasant. We rode on the same bumpy rode that we came in on. It was hard to enjoy it when we were going so slow that you almost bumped into the person in front of you. The second part was a short zipline into a pool of water. I was under the impression that you zipline into a cenote, but it's just a small body of water. You won't be able to participate in this part if you weigh more than 110 KG. For those people that added on horseback riding, they make you go first so you rush to do the horseback riding while everyone else finishes the first zipline. I wouldn't recommend the horseback riding. You get all wet from the ziplining into the water and then are soaking wet on a horse, and you are on it for like 10 mins and then you meet back up with your group for the next part. The whole tour felt very rushed to move our group along so that the next tour group can go. They have so many people and groups doing this that it makes it less personable and fun. The next part 2 large ziplines. We opted out of these since the equipment looked sketchy. So we had to take our stuff and hop in a truck that took us to the next part. Once there, our group had another series of small ziplines to do and then they could join us for the final part which was swimming in a cenote. We waited near the cenote for a while until our group joined us. The timing was awful though because every other group was also at the cenote part and it was chaos getting people to follow their guides into the cenote. You don't need water shoes for this part. You can leave your shoes near the entrance. You have to wear life jackets and the water is very cold. The best part about this tour was that our guide took us into the cavern part to see all the stalagmites, which you wouldn't be able to do if you were not with a guide. After this, we went up to the tables where we sat with our group to have lunch. I was under the impression that we were getting tacos, but we got rice, eggs, bean soup, and 2 stuffed/rolled tortillas. They have a vegetarian option if needed. By the time we were done eating, the tour had been about 4.5 hours and we still needed to get shuttled back to the meeting spot. The tour states that it will be about 4 hours so we had booked another activity for later in the day, but we were quickly approaching that time by how long everything took. Our group was one of the first to finish eating because we all wanted to be done and go back to our hotels. We waited about 20 mins or so for the next shuttle to take us back. Overall, I felt like this was total waste of time and money.
