My milk jug came cracked at the bottom

We are not content with our purchase after several weeks of testing different recipes and ingredient combinations. We had high hopes for making rice milk, tigernut milk, and cashew milk (even using the Almond Cow creamer), but unfortunately, the results have been quite disappointing. The machine simply doesn’t produce the smooth texture or flavor we expected, especially with rice and tigernuts. We really wanted to love this product, but it hasn’t met our expectations.

I regret purchasing from Almond Cow. After just over a year of light, careful use, my Milk Maker stopped working properly — struggling to blend and leaving full chunks of nuts behind. When I contacted customer service, I provided detailed information, photos, and even a video as requested. After jumping through all their hoops, I was told the motor issue “cannot be fixed by troubleshooting” and that since my unit was “outside of the warranty”, there was nothing they could do except offer me a refurbished top for $50 + tax.

What’s more frustrating is that their responses were copy-paste replies from different representatives, repeating that they “wish there was something they could do” — while offering no meaningful help at all. When I asked to escalate, I was told the Customer Care Manager was the “highest person you can speak to” and that the company simply “cannot offer a free replacement for any Milk Maker outside of the warranty.”

So basically, you’re out of luck if your product stops working after a year — which, by their own admission, is expected: “they are not meant to last for more than a year or two max.” That’s incredibly poor product quality for a $245 appliance.

If you’re looking for a durable, reliable plant milk maker backed by real customer service, I recommend looking elsewhere. I won’t be spending another dime on a company that sells short-lifespan appliances and refuses to stand by them...and neither should you!

Ive been using almond cow to create chashew and almond milk. Its quick to make, and easy to clean. All steps are straightforward, the only step that is sometimes challenging is attaching the metal nuts holder to the grinder due to space limitations.

I ordered the milk maker, glass jar and brush believing what they said - that it was returnable. Buyer beware - the glass jar and brush are not returnable. Customer service said they don't state it clearly because it would cause too much clutter on their website, and that it can be found in the fine print under returns, but who reads that before they buy something? It should be clearly stated before purchase! As I mentioned to them, I don't mind playing by the rules - as long as I know what they are. It is just another "gotcha!"

Their website says "fast and free local delivery from the EU"...I ordered my milk maker over a month ago...and still haven't received it. They did send one email saying they're having issues with their suppliers--but no further communication since. If this is the case, they need to change what it says on their website. Very misleading and so far, I'm not a happy customer--for something this expensive, you'd expect much better service. There's not even a phone number you can call for customer support--you have to email and then wait two days. Buyer beware.

I love my Almond Cow! It is very easy to use which is important as I have sight impairment. One of my PA was initially skeptical about Almond cow due to the price. However, after she had seen how fabulous it is, she decided to get one for herself. Also, a friend of mine purchased one. We are populating the British isles with Almond Cows! I could not recommend it enough.

What's more, Almond cow has an excellent customer service. Just recently the Cow stopped working. You can imagine how upset I was. I contacted the customer service and the problem was promptly resolved. Within a few days, they sent me a new almond cow top free of charge.
