Agent typed in account # wrong-Cancelled my insurance, didn't inform me
When I signed up the agent typed in my bank account number wrong, but I didn't know this until 2 months later when they cancelled my insurance without my knowledge. (I had to pay 2 months upfront because I'm new to Alberta). I drove around for several weeks without insurance without knowing it. They claimed they sent a registered letter, which I never recieved. They did not call or email.
When I went to their offices, they told me I didn't have insurance anymore and it could not be reinstated because it had been several weeks since it was cancelled for non payment. Then when I went to get my insurance again they said I had to pay the 2 months upfront again, they said I once again had to pay 2 months upfront, and my rate was more going to be $40 MORE PER MONTH. They also said it would take 3 weeks to "fix". No compensation or anything was offered for their mistake that caused a very dangerous situation, not to mention I have a disability and need a car to get to do everything since walking is difficult.

Well as a senior I dont drive much was interested in mypac omg I got quoted 545.and when they took the money from my visa 621. OK mistakes happen after a few things I just didn't want any more surprises now my policy did not start until April 24 I canceled my policy April 6 only to be told they are going to refund me 303. And keep the rest As a senior I don't throw money away but I just paid them over 300. This should be against the law but you can't talk to anyone so please stay away from them they take money that they shouldn't at no time did anyone say if you cancel before your policy comes in effect we will keep half your money in noticed they only comment on the reviews only if they are 5 star i would think they would try and assist the people who have issues ?????

I completed an online insurance quote and then attempted to contact customer service for follow-up questions. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating. I was transferred from one representative to another multiple times, and no one was able to actually assist me or take ownership of my call.
After spending a significant amount of time on the phone, I was never properly helped. If this is the level of service during a simple quotation process, it’s concerning to imagine what the experience would be like during an actual emergency or claim.
Based on this experience, I have very little confidence in their customer support and would not recommend this company to anyone who values reliable service
Dehumanizing mess.
It's beyond humiliating to have to deal with this company. My emails are ignored, one after another. The hotlines do not work, as I've been trying to reach an agent through them for days at a time, after 8 minutes on the line - it just hangs up and i never end up speaking to anybody on the phone. The only way to talk to any representative is through coming in personally to this place, which is unfruitful to say the least. Agents seem like robots, quick to cite "We're experiencing unprecedented demand for AMA Insurance due to government auto reforms, prompting many Albertans to shop for coverage." - while doing nothing to aid the problem. My first insurance payment was deducted on the second of January, not on the first as agreed before, another bill was paid automatically on the first, which set my bank account balanca barely below the sum i needed to pay the insurance. They cancelled it immediately, no second chance to pay, i could've payed the very same day, since i had money on my other bank account. Again, they ignored my emails, my phone calls, my attempts to reach customer service, and upon coming to the place itself i was offered a new policy, which is 70$ per month more expensive than my last, for no apparent reason, they promised me, that there would be a review stage, after which I'd be able to pay for the first two months and my insurance would go on seamlessly, as the old one would end on the 30th, and the new one would start on the 31st. I haven't recieved a call yet. it's 31st. I cannot drive my car now, and i have to get to work by taking three buses which takes up nearly two hours. I haven't any approximate idea, whether they're going to call me today, the next day, in a week, in a month, in a year or absolutely never.

The level of service is second to none.
Whenever called upon they have always gone above and beyond to assist us and meet our every need.
I would highly recommend their services to any business or person who may be thinking of using them. You will not get regret it.

Wouldn’t use anyone else
Mark has been my insurance broker for 25 plus years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my car insurance. No scrolling through websites for the best deal, insurance renewal sent in plenty of time, Mark has done all the hard work finding the best deal. When I had a bump in my car it was all sorted for me, why would I go anywhere else.
Honest, friendly service from everyone I’ve dealt with working for the company. Always enjoy my yearly chat when I renew my policy.

Ama insurance are a great company .i…
Ama insurance are a great company .i moved all of my business to them as they were recommended to me by my accountant . I then moved all of my personal insurances to them .if im busy they sort me out and nothing is to much trouble for these guys .They are switched on competitive and professional putting big companies (whereby you never get the same person twice ) to shame .
