Artificial intelligence customer support is terrible

I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the AI customer service bot replies in coherent everyday English and does so pretty quickly. However, that's the end of that positive praise. Because, AI is not customer service. But if you go through about three emails with this AI bot, a real person will eventually reply to you. However, they are equally as unhelpful. So you may find yourself having spent a lot of money with no recourse whatsoever. But they will offer you a widely advertised 25% off code for items that have increased in price by 25%. So basically nothing.

Ames Walker loyal customer

I've been an Ames Walker customer for 12+ years . Their hosiery is first rate and I've worn their pantyhose, knee highs, and thigh highs in various compression levels and various colors. As a male I was initially embarrassed by wearing ladies' hosiery in public, but for the past 10 years I'm proud to reveal it. Thank you, AW for making such terrific hosiery.

I ordered 3 pairs of compression…

I ordered 3 pairs of compression stockings about 5 weeks ago but until today I have yet to receive the products. When I made the order, it was stated that they will arrive in 2 weeks, but I waited for an additional week before I wrote to their customer service about the non delivery.
The response for my first email was to clarify my address which I did. I waited 2-3 days but no response. So, I reforwarded the email and received an apology note that she (customer service lady by the name of Hxxxxxa) didn't receive my email. She responded that she will need to check with her supervisor and post office about this. I has been over a week from that response and 3 additional chaser emails and I still didn't receive any response from the company/her.
I am very disappointed. This is a large established company and I don't expect such poor customer service. All I want now is that the company return my money or send me the stockings. Unfortunately, the company couldn't be bothered to response to me and honour its obligation.

Purchased an inflatable lounge doctor…

Update: I actually did get a replacement delivered, just after I finished updating my review last. I cannot give a full 5 stars because of the trouble I had to go through just to get the replacement. Its sad that I had to write several bad reviews before the company would lift a finger to help me, but ultimately they did the right thing.

Update: As if this company could not get more dishonest... They promised to send me a new item if I updated my review. I have no problem with this, but I'm not doing anything until an actual product shows up on my door step or I get some type of mailing confirmation. Now they have reported my review... and I doubt they even sent my replacement. Absolutely awful company to work with.

Purchased an inflatable lounge doctor from this company. It didn't even last 2 months before it started leaking. Both this company and the manufacturer do not stand behind their products. They refused to return or exchange the product. I can see from other reviews that this is a very dishonest company. Take my advice and do not purchase any products from them. They will not do the right thing for defective products.

Fixed USPS’s mess-up!!

I received an empty package inside a plastic bag from the USPS explaining that my package was damaged during shipping. USPS website said I couldn't file a claim unless i had an insurance receipt. I contacted Ames-Walker through an e-mail. I got a response right away, and they sent out another product, and I received it in record time! I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased!

Fantastic service

I ordered 6 masks on Monday. Received them on Friday...4 days later. They came individually wrapped and exactly as advertised. I'm beyond pleased! And made in USA...big plus. Thank you.

Need better order confirmation policy

They gave me no confirmation they even received my order. They should have an auto reply confirming your order. When I called they told me they had to order my stockings from Jobst and they havent received them yet.
When they qoute 3-10 days shipping, count on the 10 days. I thought they stocked the product they sold. Apparently not.
After calling them they let me know they received the stockings from Jobst but the box was damaged in transit. They assured me product was fine. I guess I will know
by the weekend.

Lounge Doctor Leg Rest with Cooling Gel Memory Foam

At first I wasn't sure that someone as young as myself needed such an item. While working at Walmart and standing on my feet for 8-10 hour shifts I found myself with painful, restless legs. I have found that propping my legs up for 15-30 minutes as soon as I get home from work, shopping, a trip to the park, or even long car rides makes such a difference! The memory foam is such a comforting feature as well, it supports my large calves without compressing them and making it an uncomfortable experience. I sometimes even nap on the couch while using this. Love love love it and I've suggested it to every family member and friend. Give it a try!

The Lounge Doctor Leg Rest is the Best!!

The Lounge Doctor Leg Rest has been a great addition in my life. Working long hours into the night in a restaurant, playing piano standing for various hours three times a week. All these are factors that cause my legs to ache and begin to show minor swelling. Once I used the lounge doctor, I noticed the difference right away. My legs are not aching as much, and no more noticeable swelling.

Disappointed

I bought from Ames Walker Lounge Doctor inflatable leg rest.When deciding between the inflatable and the foam one,I went for the inflatable,thinking that I would be able to take it with me on vacation,for example.I did not see any negative reviews on the product...My leg rest lasted less than 2 months.When I wrote a review,it did not get published.Called to find out why- apparently they only publish the positive reviews on their products.However,they did try to make it right by sending me another leg rest,which only lasted a month longer.It is poorly made,the weakest spot is on the lowest corners,where 3 surfaces connect.Waste of money!If the company was honest about their products,publishing all customer reviews,I would have decided in favor of the foam leg rest ,even though it's more expensive.Instead I wasted money on product that ended up in the trash and I will be getting my next leg rest from Amazon.

Company lies on customer reviews

Bought products from the company. They were okay. I got an email from them asking for a review so I reviewed a product with 3 stars - it had good compression but was sized wrong so it didn't fit correctly and hurt (was too long so I had to fold the top of the sock over). Someone messaged me from the company telling me that I could exchange them - I asked how much it would cost me and how to do that. A few emails were exchanged where she told me how to measure (I'd done that) but she NEVER told me how to exchange or what it would cost so clearly that isn't an option. Then I went back to their site and saw that they had blocked my review. Their products have great reviews because they don't post the honest ones.

I wear black tights all winter and…

I wear black tights all winter and these are the best! I work on a college campus, lots of walking from one building to another. The Ames Walker light compression tights make all the difference! They're silky soft, perfectly dyed (no streaks or blotches), and just the right weight and opacity for daily wear. Plus, they fit! The waist is comfortable, no pinching or rolling, and they don't squeeze my toes or shift around in the feet. These are definitely the Cadillac of tights--worth every penny.

compression hose return

I originally a pair of compression hose from amazon but they were an Ames Walker product. They started coming apart at the top so I called Ames Walker about an exchange on the hose. She checked my order and told me that they could be exchanged and I would receive a replacement. After a few days and no word from them yet I checked to see if the product was received back. Discovered that they were so waited a little longer to see if I would hear something from them in my email or by phone about the replacement hose. No word from them so decided to send an email and ask about my replacement hose. Only to get an ans. stating that they don't do exchanges and gave me a refund so I lost the promotion price that I paid for them and the discount was offering was still higher that my regional price. I called them about it and all they did was state that they were sorry that I was given incorrect information on the return but they don't give exchanges when there product is purchased on amazon. Not good customer service by the agent that I spoke with and very disappointed that they didn't even have the deficiency to contact me when the received the return and know that they were not going to send me a replacement for the hose that started coming apart. That is very bad customer service, so beware if you get there product on Amazon and you have problems with it they will give you a shipping label but will never contact you back and tell you that you can only get a refund. So I ordered my compression hose from someone else were if something goes wrong I can take them back to that store and they will refund my money. I should not have had to call them to find out this information it was up to them to contact me as they were the ones that gave out false information to me. CSR seriously need training on there policies.

I have been a customer for three years…

I have been a customer for three years usually get reasonably fair service.
Not this time l ordered 3 pairs of compression stockings closed toed and color taupe,
I received 3 pairs open toed and color nude.
l paid postage as l live in Canada. they admit to their mistake but l have to pay return postage plus postage again for the exchange.
Disgusting service downright robbery

The sizing chart showed only the XL…

The sizing chart showed only the XL size to fit a size 13 foot - so I ordered the XL. My calf was also in the threshold inches for XL, however the socks will not stay up over the calf, and customer service just said - "You bought them too big". Wasn't happy with their lack of concern.

After posting this review, I was immediately contacted by Ames Walker, and they are replacing the two pair I can no longer wear, with a smaller size. They also sent me a return label to return those at no cost. The lady was very nice and apologized for my first interaction, so I am changing my rating - however, I am certain they have my return by now, but I have not seen my replacements.
