Hi Sharon, We’re so pleased to hear you love the look of the nails, though we’re really sorry to hear you’ve had some trouble with them lasting.
Our nails are designed to stay on for a couple of weeks once applied, so in many cases when they don’t, it just means the application may need a few small tweaks.
Here are our top tips for the best, long lasting results:
* Fully prep your natural nails before application
* Thoroughly buff the nail surface to remove shine
* Push back all cuticles so the nails can adhere properly
* Make sure the press-on nails aren’t touching any skin
* Dehydrate the nails to remove any natural oils
* Apply a generous amount of glue to both your natural nail and the press-on nail
* Hold each nail down firmly for at least 60 seconds to secure adhesion
* Apply at night so you can leave them undisturbed, with no water contact, until fully set

After receiving an email from House of Amor asking me to review my purchase, I reviewed the kit poorly due to packaging issues. It was a struggle to get the kit open, struggle to get the tweezers out of the packaging, and a struggle to get the tubes out. The lashline of the false lash is so incredibly thin that it just fell apart. Anyway, I left that review in the hopes that they would reach out to me but they did not.
After using the kit three times in 4 days (the lashes did not stay on long enough so I had to take them off and redo them) I noticed that the bond has dried up! I then chose to not use them anymore as it wasn’t worth the hassle - then I receive another email today (was hoping it was a direct email from the company to chat about my previous concerns with the product) asking to leave ANOTHER review! And that brings me to today!

Please know that we take feedback like this very seriously and would love the opportunity to put things right to ensure your satisfaction.
We haven’t received feedback regarding the packaging of our Starter Kit before, so we would really like to understand what went wrong with your pack. Our lashes within the starter kit are designed to be as natural as possible, which means they are made to be delicate. We recommend removing them from the packaging using your fingers and thumb only, as using the applicator at this stage can sometimes cause damage.
From what you’ve described, the issues with longevity may be down to application and this is something we can absolutely help with. We have a dedicated customer services team who would be more than happy to offer tailored advice and support to ensure you get the best results and are fully satisfied with your purchase.
We kindly ask that you get in touch with our team directly so we can work with you on this. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we’d really like the chance to turn your experience around.

I tried the lazy girl cluster lashes as they were on offer and I’ve now not only switched from a rival brand but ordered a regular delivery of them! I was using the other company for pre- glued cluster lashes and loved them but House of Amor have more choice and the longer length lashes are much fluffier! Absolutely gorgeous. My favourites are Midnight and Twilight for that full, glam look that I wear everyday. I do use the rival companies cleansing mist to clean my lashes before applying and get 4/5 days use. If one comes off overnight which occasionally happens, I pop another one in seconds! My old lashes came in packs of 30 but I get 40 lashes in these packs so better value. I also recommend the pre-glued applicator to put them on. Quick delivery and a fab company who send a thank you email for ordering and clearly value their customers. Please launch one length pre-glued clusters as I always run out of 14’s!!

Got the lashes. Wow amazing, never been able to do lashes at home before.
Done both eyes under 15mins. Went on holiday with them and they lasted very well.
I got the starter kit and removed them myself after about 5 days which was very easy to do and tight ruin my natural lashes.
Great product. Thinking of trying the nails next time:-)

I bought the preglued lashes after trying other lashes elsewhere and not being able to get them on at all. However these preglued lashes from house of amour were so easy to get on compared to others and I'll definitely continue buying them through house of amour!

Bought the press on nails and the durability of it is actually amazing compared to the others.It looks like you get your nails done in the salon. It lasted a week to me til one of the nails come off . When its time removing it , it was recommended to soak the fingers for 10-15 mins which i did but i would recommend buying their Nails remover as using the glue really does leave a damage to your natural nail . I only wish for the price we pay for the nails that it should come with remover as the nail remover itself is expensive.

We do recommend soaking your nails in warm, soapy water for at least 10–15 minutes to help loosen the glue. However, our Nail Remover is a much quicker and easier option for removing them while avoiding any potential damage to your natural nails.

Perfect holiday nails
First time using these press on nails and I’m so impressed with them! I ordered “Pink Lemonade” and applied them using the glue the night before my holiday. They lasted 6 days before 1 fell off but I was in the pool and sea everyday. They looked amazing and I’ve now ordered another set in “Lemon Sugar”

So blown away by the product. My lashes came just in time for my 30th birthday party too 😍 I’ve never been able to apply strip lashes so buying these was a risk as I didn’t know if I’d be able to apply them myself. I set a timer and started and it only took me 13 minutes to pick a style, apply the lashes, seal them and walk out the bathroom with so much sass 😍 can’t wait to order more and play around with different lash styles and lengths. Got so many compliments about the lashes too! Couldn’t recommend this product enough!

Bought the quick lash starter set after seeing them online. I’ve always been a wearer of self application lashes and thought I would give these a try after their claim of these lashes lasting up to 7 days. Sorry to say I really do wish I’d read previous reviews on here as I completely agree with them. They don’t even last a day. And before I am fobbed off with it must be my application of the product, and if I ‘tweak’ it ect, I can assure you it isn’t. They should not be advertised at all as a product lasting 7 days. You’d be lucky to get 48hrs! Genuinely wish I’d saved myself the £40 I spent on these products. Will say the presentation of the box was nice just a real shame.

If your natural lashes were sticking together, it could be a sign that too much product was applied. One of the most common mistakes with our bond is using more than needed, it’s actually designed to work best when used sparingly. We recommend applying a small amount just to the root of your natural lashes, avoiding pulling it through like a mascara. A little really does go a long way!

I have been using House of Amor for
I have been using House of Amor for a couple of years now, and I absolutely cannot fault them in any way. This week I had to contact customer service for the first time due to my own error, and they kindly rectified the issue for me even though they didn’t have to.
Their lashes and nails are absolutely top quality and have saved me so much money and time going to the salon.
The bad reviews on this page are left by people who have no patience to learn the application properly. If your lashes or nails fall off after a day that’s because of human error and your own prep/ application, not a fault of the product itself. I’ve been ordering for years and never had an issue. My nails can last over three weeks and my lashes 10 days!

Bought the glue dots
Bought the glue dots. WASTE OF MONEY. once you peel the backing paper back they all ball up, then you can’t use. They are all different sized dots so this is frustrating as you can feel the different sizes on the 2 clusters i managed to used. Bought the dots as was gifted some clusters without glue, but will stick to pre glued next time. Absolute waste of money, and efforts

I've never used false lashes before so I was quite apprehensive about putting them on. It honestly couldn't be easier and they last 6-7 days if I take care of them. I use 14mm Tease and they are so beautiful, very natural looking.
After a few goes, I can put on a full set in 20 mins or less. Big fan!
I've only had need to contact the support team once when I messed up my order. Philippa responded so quickly and was super friendly and helpful!
