We’re sorry to hear the abaya didn’t meet your expectations. The item you ordered is a farasha-style abaya, which is designed to be flowy and oversized, a style detail clearly visible in the product photos. In fact, the model shown is wearing the exact same item from the same batch you received.

We also couldn’t find any record of you contacting us prior to leaving this review. We always encourage customers to reach out first so we can resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.

Update: Following this review, the customer reached out and requested a refund, which we promptly processed. While we’re unsure why the review was left before giving us a chance to help, we always do our best to support our customers.

As mentioned, the abaya in question is a farasha-style design, intentionally made to be flowy and oversized—this is reflected in the product photos and description. The model shown is wearing the exact same item from the same batch.

Your review is misleading and leaves out key facts.

We contacted you via email twice on 03/07/2025 and 04/07/2025 requesting confirmation regarding your order. This is a standard procedure we follow when certain orders are flagged by our system as high risk of fraud, especially for international transactions where chargebacks are more common.

In the second email, we clearly stated that if we didn’t receive a response within 48 hours, the order would be cancelled. This was not done without warning.

These emails were sent and can be fully verified with timestamps and screenshots which we have already provided to you.

You claimed you received no communication and said you sent a screenshot to prove it yet no screenshot was ever sent, and more importantly, it’s not possible to screenshot the absence of an email. If our messages landed in your junk or spam folder, that is unfortunately outside our control.

We didn’t cancel your order without cause, we followed a clear and fair process. Accusing us of poor service while omitting these facts is both unfair and misleading.

We take customer service seriously and are always open to feedback but we also expect the same honesty and fairness in return.

UPDATE: Following our initial response, the customer reached out requesting we reinstate the order and honour the same discounted rate in exchange for editing their review.

We want to make it clear that we do not operate on the basis of reviews being changed in return for service or pricing adjustments. Reviews should reflect genuine experiences, not be used as leverage.

We're really sorry to hear about the smell. Sometimes garments can pick up a scent during production or packaging, though this usually fades after washing or airing. We completely understand how unpleasant that can be.

We’ve also recently suppliers to improve the overall quality and finish of our abayas, so future collections will reflect these upgrades.

Due to the nature of white fabric, some transparency is to be expected, and we’ve clearly mentioned this in the product description to help customers make an informed decision. We always recommend layering appropriately or choosing our other colour options if full coverage is essential.
