No returns
I was hugely disappointed to discover that I couldn't return the items (which were way too large for me). I won't shop here in the future because of this.

Review is for APPLESEED'S....also listed under Blair. Appleseeds takes weeks to ship item. Charges $10 to ship to you with additional fees. Charges $10 for return postage if it doesn't fit. $20+ FOR NOTHING! Customer Service hold-times are at least an hour wait! When someone does answer your call it's overseas reps who don't get it! Wasted over an hour for nothing and just encountered more problems. Rep screwed up exchange order and had to call back and wait another hour! DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE ~ HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!
If you call customer service you will hold an hour or more if they answer
Ordered something and I tried to cancel because it's been over a week they say I cannot cancel because it is preparing to ship - over a week. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them
Placed an order in January 2025. Returned due to size. Was told it was on clearance and I could not exchange and they would return the original purchase to me. Still waiting. Contacted several times. Continually get a representative that is off shore. No help what so ever. I will write a negative review on every site possible.
Do not do business with this company.
Horrible return policies for gifts.
It’s ridiculous ordering from Appleseeds. Especially when ordering a gift for someone else.
If you do order a gift remember you must have it delivered to their address or else all other returns or exchanges must go through you!
If gift receiver has to return the present and then order something else the new exchange item will be at its original high price** (update below) even if it’s currently on sale or clearance online. Then you also have to deduct the $10 shipping fee for Appleseeds return label. What a hassle!
Why can’t the gift receiver just add the extra amount on their own credit card?
Who wants to have the gift giver pay extra?
Update** a different customer service agent now says I will get the latest price on new purchases which I'm ordering as an exchange, and said I can add my Credit card info on the exchange form for the balance.
The clothes quality is nice but returning or exchanging makes the whole experience exasperating especially when you get different versions of policies depending who you talk to.
I ordered three shoes from them. The shipping was prompt and the items were packaged with care. I would definitely order from them again!
I bought something on November 22 and opted for the standard 8-10 days' shipping. Plenty of time to arrive so I could wear the item to an event on December 8. Fine, except Appleseeds doesn't ship the day or even the week you buy. It's 8-10 days from the time they get around to shipping; in this case, December 1, almost a week from the date I purchased. Tracking says it will be here December 8, maybe before I'm ready to walk out the door. If this info is in the fine print, it ought to be more prominently featured.
Excellent quality and style. I thought I would*never* find slightly slim-cut corduroys, but here they are.
This company that has many complaints operates this way, they offer you a coupon and if you take it you are 'enrolled' in their VIP crap and will be charged monthly until you catch it on your card! I realized that happen to me for years without getting anything in return. I have been paying $14.97 for nothing in exchange. I will contact my attorney also to see how this happen and how they keep that going for years without my approval. How about we get together and file a class action against the company.
I returned a $43 item.
They only refunded $23!
I asked them why.
They responded that they keep $6.99 for postage.
So why did they keep $20???????!!!!!!
I keep receiving emails to review a product that they have not managed to send in 2 months. I cannot get an order update status, but I keep getting emails on crap.
I placed my order 11 days ago and the order has not shipped. The website says items will be received in 6-8 business days...well that is not true. If I would have know they would be so slow to ship out items I would not have placed an order. This is my first and last order from Appleseeds. They have lost a customer that spends lots of money shopping for online clothing. Customer service responded to my email and said that items will arrive in 11-14 days. Maybe they should update their website shipping info instead of misleading their customers.
Buyer beware. You get free shipping for purchases, but if you return the purchase, you get charged shipping both for delivery and return, and they charge $9.00 for using their return label that is attached to the shipping invoice. I received an $86 refund for returning a $115 purchase. And customer service was less than helpful.
