Paid Extra for Rush Shipping Just to Receive the Wrong Part and No Response

I’ve spent a lot of money with AR-15 Discount and honestly used to love doing business with them. Up until now, I never really had a reason to complain. But this last order completely changed my experience.

I ordered a lower parts kit and specifically paid extra for rush processing and the fastest shipping because I needed the parts ASAP. When the package arrived, they sent me the wrong trigger spring. That alone was frustrating enough, but what made it worse was the complete lack of communication afterward.

I reached out to customer service and still haven’t gotten a response back over 12 hours later. Meanwhile, I keep seeing reviews talking about how fast and helpful their customer service is, but apparently that doesn’t apply to everybody. Right now I’m just left in the dark not knowing what’s going on with my order or replacement.

What really bothers me is that I hope this review isn’t what finally makes someone respond to me, because customers shouldn’t have to go leave public reviews just to get basic communication after a mistake was made. Especially after paying extra for priority processing and expedited shipping.

Mistakes happen, I get that. But if you’re charging people extra to prioritize their order, accuracy and customer support should also be a priority. Really disappointed because I used to recommend these guys all the time.

That said, I do want to clarify that your original message was received yesterday, 5/18, and this review was posted less than 24 hours later. While we understand the urgency, our support team does require a reasonable amount of time to review and respond to incoming requests.

Sierra Ford was an excellent customer service representative. She got back to me very quickly, was extremely professional, and handled everything I needed right away. She took care of my request within about 5 minutes and made the whole process easy and stress-free. It’s not often you get service that fast and efficient anymore. I really appreciate her help and the great experience. Definitely top-notch customer service.

Slow refund on card.

I finale got the correct ar 15 charge handle and a refund on my credit card weeks later. It took 6 emails and several weeks to handle and complete the fix.

Takes forever to ship

Site takes forever to process small ammo orders. So far, it's been 3 full days and the order is still "processing". Easier to just wait for a sale at sportsman's warehouse or range usa at this point.

No reply when trying to return a DOA RED DOT

I bought a red dot and it arrived dead. I've spent over 2800 dollars with them over 2 years. Not the biggest spender by far but definitely a consistent and loyal customer. They required a video of the optic not working in order to move forward with a return. Definitely not industry standard and not stated any where in the return policy. Now they are not replying to my emails and I still have the broken optic. I'll never use them again. Pro tip, don't judge companies by their prices or how fast they ship. Judge them by how they handle problems. Ignoring customers and asking for ridiculous requirements to return an item that was broken when it arrived isn't a company that will get another penny from me. I wouldn't recommend buying optics from them, the QC isn't there and neither is their customer service. You're just a number and when you need a return you definitely aren't a priority.

Ordered a Beretta 688 because of the good price posted. Reading the reviews I was convinced AR15 DISCOUNTERS was legitimate. Wow was I wrong. I placed my order only to be informed two days later that my order was canceled and refunded do to fraud indicators used by the business NO FRAUD. I have used my card online for many years with no problems at all. Then I receive an email stating that I could place another order. So I did. I followed the order with an email letting them know my issue with the last order being canceled and they assured me my order was confirmed and it ABSOLUTELY would not be canceled. You guessed it. It was canceled again. Needless to say I am done with AR15 DISCOUNTERS. Buyers BEWARE!!!

☆☆☆Problem rectified finally got my order to go through. It was a security issue. Order was shipped promptly and received a GREAT deal for the gun. Thanks for being patient with me.

For customer and business protection, all orders are reviewed through an independent fraud-prevention system. In rare cases, an order may be flagged based on risk indicators that are outside of our direct control. When this happens, we are required to follow the recommendation provided and are unable to override it.

In this case, the order was reviewed more than once and ultimately could not be approved. Both canceled orders were fully refunded, and no charges were retained.

While we regret that we were unable to complete this transaction, these safeguards are in place to protect all parties involved. -JH

Identify theft after second order

Ordered from them twice and this second time was the issue. 3 days after ordering using my debit card I left for Mexico leaving that card at home. While I was away charges at movies, restaurants and 7-11 all in North Carolina started racking up! I cancelled my card and the bank is investigating but all the charges were near their business and it was the last place I used the card and the only one in NC! I reached out to them but they don’t seem too interested in the identity theft that has occurred there. Be safe, shop somewhere else.

Do not do business with these guys

Do not do business with these guys! They claim they will price match but then every authorized dealer is 'blacklisted' and they won't match on that grounds. But they don't define blacklisted.

I was told they would match then the next day when I followed up they told me they wouldn't.

My experience was great because…

My experience was great because everything was so simple. Whether it be to find what you need or just browsing. I was looking for a couple certain items and i found both ranging from cheap to pricey. The layout of this website makes everything extremely user friendly without complicating what your looking for. I enjoy the fact that you get good items in your email as well as the site ad. I like how quick the shipping was also. It only took a few days but ill definitely be ordering from here again.
