Shocking how bad!! Bought some Oakley M frames at a very good price.
Said ten working days?? Nope don’t believe them, they take your money and give you no information. After nearly twenty days still no news.
Don’t waste your time with this company.
Now waiting ten days for refund

Excellent Service/Delivery

Can I start by saying I was sceptical about this company based on their recent reviews. But I was pleasantly impressed with their communication and ongoing updates on my order. Well done 👏🏻
My order went in for prescription glasses on Sat 7th march and was informed of a 10 working day from my glasses/ lenses being complete. They were delivered promptly and I received them on Monday 16th march.
I even received a lovely email from Richard after I sent my email thanking him/them for my order. I will definitely recommend and use again.

Happy experience

I found this company very efficient to deal with. After reading some of the comments, I was slightly dubious but actually had no reason to be. They kept me informed from receipt of my order until delivery. I ordered Dolce & Gabbana frames and Ardor were a lot cheaper than other eyewear companies.From my experience, I would recommend.

Love the glasses which arrived today

Love the glasses which arrived today. Great price too. The delivery takes a while but Richard kept me updated through the process which was very good of him. A good experience and happy with my purchase. Will return again in the future

Ordered some Oakley Hip tone glasses…

Ordered some Oakley Hip tone glasses but then advised they would be 4-8 weeks. I went ahead but they did arrive sooner within 4 weeks. Did send a follow up email to ask about adjusting them as they were slipping off, but unfortunately didn’t get a helpful response. I was able to sort them out thing so only a minor gripe. Would use again.

I'm not having a very good experience… frames not sent yet

I'm not having a very good experience with Ardor Eyewear - I ordered Oakley frames only on 23rd Feb, they have still not been dispatched and I can get no information on why and when they will be sent. The same frames are still listed as being in stock on the web site so don't know what is going on.
I'm wondering whether Ardor actually hold any stock and rely on sourcing items after orders are taken?
Update: I still haven't heard anything from Ardor, but I have received a refund notication from Paypal less than 2 hrs after posting my initial review. So despite the frames still being advertised as available on their website they clearly aren't. This whole situation is very strange - it looks like I won't be out of pocket, but I've wasted over two weeks waiting for frames that Ardor presumably knew that they didn't have.

Patience needed with communication

Had lots of communication eg, order received, order validated,order packaged, order ready for despatch etc
Took about a week of this,
Once Royal Mail received it it was delivered next day,
Pleased with the glasses

Avoid this website at all costs

Avoid this website at all costs, an absolute scam. I purchased a pair of sunglasses and it said they are waiting to be sent out but did not recieve a tracking number, only when i asked about the tracking number they then said that they dont have the sunglasses and would
have to wait for up to 2 months for them. The links in the email to track your order are dodgy as they dont open to a tracking page. Wish i didnt bother waste of time and money. Just hoping now i havent been fully scammed and get my money back.

Disappointed overall with this company

Disappointed overall with this company. I’ve got to be honest I didn’t find it clear that a refund wouldn’t include the lenses, other companies include that as part of the refund including glasses direct, reglaze my lens, rayban and many more. So they have now charged me £80 for something they have kept and I no longer have. Would not recommend on the basis that there is no point ordering anything prescription as there is no possibility to change your mind

Our returns policy clearly states prescription lenses are not refundable. They are a bespoke item and cannot be re used.

I will be very surprised another company offers this service as it is just a loss leader. The above companies motioned charge 3 times more for the same product. I guess that is one way around it. Charge the customer a lot more.

Great products and customer service

I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but the prices were a little too good and sometimes you have to take the risk.

Happy to say both glasses arrived, we had a couple of issues but the support team were friendly, contactable and resolved ASAP.

Would definitely recommend.

No Reply after return, I'm left without the glasses or refund.

Well it seems like the only way I'm going to get a response is to write a bad review.

My buying experience was ok, not great, little communication and my order was a week late.

But the utter lack of any customer service is the issue now. After wearing the glasses for a week I noticed the lenses didn't seem to fit into the frames correctly. I sent photos to Ardor eyewear, they actually responded and asked for me to post them. Unit 157, Derbion Centre, Derby.

They were received 10 working days ago and I cannot get anyone to even respond to either the initial email thread or a new support one I have opened.

The glasses were over £300 and I can't get any response from Ardor, not having a phone number I guess should have been a red flag while purchasing.

Is the next step to drive to the shop I posted them to "Optique Vision" But I suppose although residing at unit 157 they will claim to be nothing to do with Ardor Eyewear.

If anyone from Adore is willing to speak to me. My order number is #24694.

Came before delivery deadline & quick customer service

I was worried about my order coming in time after reading the mixed reviews- emailed ardor & had a personal response, with a set confirmation within a couple of hours. The order arrived today 4 days before the due date and is lovely quality even nicer than pictured.

Positive experience

My personal experience has been positive and would order again. The reason I gave a 4 out of 5 was because to me, it wasn’t clear it was 10 days delivery until after I purchased. They did arrive with in the 10 and when I emailed customer service, I was impressed at the quick response to my queries. Looking at the bad reviews, I believe most were around Christmas when all shipments can be delayed.

Please do not buy from this company I…

IPlease do not buy from this company I got ripped off they took my money and never sent the glasses please don't loose your money they said they were sent out I got no tracking and 6 emails saying they were being packed and inspected on the 7th I got an email saying being packed ready for delivery I bought the glasses on the second of Feb do not buy and I never got a tracking number avoid there ripping people off from there hard earned money East Mall, London Rd, Derby DE1 2PL boycott don't loose your money I know I've received a fake tracking number that doesn't even exist how am I spreading false reviews I have all the emails to prove everything you said they were delivered and then you send tracking your the only one who is fake telling PayPal my order has been delivered with out proof of tracking so you could keep the money your thives I have the email to prove it your telling me I'm writing fake reviews have you taken a look at your reviews I wish I had. the only reason you WON the case on PayPal was because I cancelled it Muppet

Firstly you ordered your frame on the 2nd february and we advised 10 business days. You then emailed on wednesday 11th asking about your parcel which we then advied via email that they would go out in the next few days. They have been shipped today via track 24 delivery and you have been sent a tracking number.

We are not really sure what else to say apart from please stop spreading false reviews.

We have fulfilled you product within the timeframe we advised.

update customer filed a paypal dispute. PAYPAL has sided with us and agreed we fulfilled the customers order within the timeframe we advised.

Fantastic company with amazing customer service

I have used several online opticians over the years and can honestly say for all the others were no problem, this one is by far the best, fantastic customer service, very quick in responding and extremely helpful to get exactly what you want. Pricing is excellent too. Turnaround from ordering to receiving has been unbelievably quick, I expected a couple of weeks and it was a matter of days, though I imagine it depends on frame availability and complex of prescription, mine were reading glasses with reactolite.
If they have the frames I want at the time or can get them, then this will definitely be my go to online optician regardless of price.
Very highly recommend.

Excellent customer service

I ordered Ray Bans and received the wrong size (my error when ordering). Emailed them and got a reply within 24 hours. Returned and got a refund within another 24 hours. Ordered the correct size and they arrived within 10 days. Really good service. Would use again.

Rayban purchase

Recently bought a pair of Rayban sunglasses as a gift . Great communication throughout, txd me to say when they had been dispatched. When receiving instead of getting a sunglasses case they came in a drawstring bag which I wasn’t happy about . I emailed asking if a case could be sent out . I received reply stating they would send out in post & would receive it the next day . It did come the next day . Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again . Super happy 😃 😎
