This individual asserted he had developed a proprietary monitoring system that could predict profitable smart contract executions. I was provided a referral URL and instructed to connect an on-chain wallet via a Web3 browser. Deposits were made over four weeks, totaling $120,000. Upon withdrawal attempt, the platform froze the account, citing an ambiguous “risk review.” Subsequent communications demanded escalating payments for “tax liabilities,” “risk resolution bonds,” and “withdrawal processing.” I complied fully; no withdrawal was ever executed. On-chain investigation reveals the deposited assets were not held in any identifiable smart contract or pool. They were immediately forwarded to a series of externally owned wallet addresses. These wallets demonstrate classic money laundering patterns: rapid consolidation, value transfer through intermediary wallets, and deposits to high-volume exchanges. This operation is ongoing and actively seeking new victims. I urgently request that global cryptocurrency exchanges screen for these wallet addresses and freeze any associated assets.
