Nano Lopez bronze

I had a wonderful experience with the Art Brokerage and Helen was amazing to work with. She answered all my questions and put me at ease for buying the Nano Lopez sculpture by assuring me that I had plenty of time to evaluate the sculpture when I received it. The sculpture was well packed and looked exactly like the sculptures I have seen at various galleries at a fraction of the price. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing Art Brokerage for your Nano Lopez bronze sculpture. We’re thrilled to hear that your experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Helen is truly dedicated to making every buyer feel confident and supported, and it’s great to know her guidance and reassurance made the process easy for you. We’re also delighted that the sculpture arrived safely, beautifully packed, and exactly as you expected — especially at such an exceptional value compared to gallery pricing.

Your happiness with this purchase means a great deal to us. Thank you again for your trust, and we look forward to helping you with future acquisitions.

I need to answer to the inconsistency of my response of original review.

Your response contains several statements about me that are simply not accurate. I never apologized to you, and I never refused to provide a Park West invoice or appraisal. The only issue regarding documentation was that I initially failed to include a COA with one listing, and when that was brought to my attention, I added the requested information and photograph.
I also do not sell only Park West artwork, nor am I a “cruise ship seller.” I purchase artwork from a variety of sources.
My concerns were about your inconsistent treatment of my listings. I submitted an original KEF! mixed-media work and was repeatedly told my listing price was too high and I submitted an adjusted price on 3 occasions down to a $9,000 asking price that was still too high for you. As well another Kef! original a little smaller for $7700 and you guessed it still flagged too high. What is sad you have an ad asking for Kef! paintings, and you have some Serigraphs (prints) listed at $3300. I also submitted an original Michael Godard mixed-media work at $7,700 and was told that price was too high, despite your site having another same-size Godard mixed-media work listed within a couple hundred of mine. I questioned that discrepancy, which is when the communication became increasingly unpleasant.
I also a few months prior, attempted to purchase a Godard butterfly original that was advertised on your site for approximately $2,800. After I offered to purchase it, I was told that the artwork had been priced incorrectly and could not be sold at that price.
These are the experiences behind my review. You are certainly entitled to your opinions about the secondary art market, and I am entitled to question pricing advice when I see apparent inconsistencies. What I object to is responding to a customer's criticism with personal attacks and statements about events that I say did not occur.
I encourage potential customers to read both sides and make their own decision. As for Park West, I have bought from them, and enjoyed the experiences, and they have the right to charge whatever they want. You can say no, or just not buy. As for my inexperience you say, you don’t know me, but from other reviews you have, I really wouldn’t throw stones. And the comment about champagne indulged cruise ship buyer from Park West, it shows your true lack of decency towards that company, and art collectors out there. As in my true opinion, you are a company and have every right to make profit, but you truly have no right to question anyone’s experience that you don’t know, nor question what they may value their art. Advice is one thing, rude behavior, and attitude is another. And to bash another company shows the lengths you go to. Sad really.

Be Careful

So, I’ll limit my review to Robbie Reddy. The seller prices are generally okay, but then we get to shipping and insurance. I have evidence of each subsequent statement: (1) I was quoted $650 for shipping. Most reputable brokers/seller include shipping in the base cost. Okay, not this time, but see item (2), (2) shipping I was quoted as “freight”. Freight is bulk shipping. Amazon isn’t bulk shipping. Bulk shipping can take months and is the lowest (or near lowest) shipping class; (3) they say professionally packed, but won’t say what that means or by whom. And how does that pecking align with freight shipping? (4) the website says insurance is in the purchase price, yet Robbie says that is an extra charge.

Art seems great, but with all the issues with Robbie, do I trust the listing? This may be a salesperson seeing a way to make extra on the side, or an incompetent person.

I want to buy, but there’s no trust.

A review of the communication between this individual and our Fine Art Broker shows that his comments contain several misleading statements and unfounded accusations. Art Brokerage obtains actual carrier shipping quotes, and in this case we even offered to cover a portion of the cost as a good‑faith effort. He also combines details from two entirely separate transactions and two different shipping quotes, creating an inaccurate narrative.

Shipping costs are determined by carriers, not by Art Brokerage. Large artworks often require freight shipping, and freight rates can be higher due to size, weight, and fuel costs. Even so, our typical freight transit time is well under 10 business days, depending on origin and destination.

It is unfortunate that he chose to publish a negative and misleading review, particularly given that Art Brokerage has been in business since 1983, maintains an outstanding reputation, and has served collectors for decades. A company cannot remain in business this long without being trustworthy, transparent, and committed to professional service.

WARNING TO ALL ART COLLECTORS

WARNING TO ALL ART COLLECTORS: Donna Rose is a Fraud and a Manipulator!Do not trust Donna Rose or her services at Art Brokerage. She is an absolute impostor and a liar who uses disgusting gaslighting tactics to bully and harass private collectors into artificially devaluing their museum-quality artwork just so she can score a quick corporate commission.I have corporate, black-and-white proof of her illegal double standards and market manipulation:Explicit Misrepresentation and Fraud: She actively tries to rename authenticated pieces to confuse sellers. She tried to tell me a premium artwork was a common, lower-tier model. However, I hold the original publisher’s catalog from David Lawrence Editions proving her entirely wrong. Altering catalog titles to manipulate prices is a direct violation of Florida commercial fraud laws.Disgusting Double Standards: Donna Rose is currently listing a common piece on her platform for $4,900 that originally retailed for only $400 back in 1985. Yet, when I tried to list a certified, ultra-rare Monocast (Edition 3 of only 50) that officially retailed as a top-tier piece for $1,300 in 1985, she harassed me for 10 straight days, blocking my listing and claiming it wasn't worth my price of $4,500.Cowardly Behavior: The moment I exposed her lies by producing my original 1980s carbon-copy invoices from David Editions (Malibu, CA) and certificates from Soho Editions, she couldn't face the truth. Instead of admitting her malpractice, she cowardly blocked my account to hide her deceptive corporate games. She does not care about art, history, or the law. She only cares about manipulating innocent sellers into giving up rare treasures for pennies so she can flip them for massive hidden markups. If you have authentic estate art with bulletproof provenance, stay far away from this crook. Take your business to honest, live galleries and fine art dealers who actually respect the law and true collectors. Donna Rose is a complete scam artist!

I recently sold a piece of artwork through Artbrokerage.com—a Kush original titled Matrix of Love—and the experience exceeded my expectations, especially as someone who had never sold art before.

I had the pleasure of working with Robbie Reddey as my broker, and she was exceptional from start to finish. Robbie did a fantastic job fielding questions from potential buyers, allowing me to stay focused without getting overwhelmed. She only brought me serious, well-vetted offers, which made the process feel efficient and professional.

Her guidance during negotiations was incredibly valuable. She struck the perfect balance between advocating for me and keeping the deal moving forward in a positive way. I always felt informed and supported.

Beyond the sale itself, Robbie also walked me through the logistics—helping me understand how to properly package the artwork and coordinating shipping seamlessly. That level of service made a huge difference, especially since this was my first time navigating a sale like this.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re considering buying or selling art, I highly recommend Artbrokerage.com—and if you can, work with Robbie. She’s outstanding.

i Have written to them and the last 3 times i have not had a response....huge scammers, don,t know why people continue to do business with them

The seller has expressed dissatisfaction from the beginning, largely due to misunderstandings about the secondary resale market and the current state of the art market in general. We have consistently promoted his artwork — including featuring it multiple times in our daily mailers — and we have grouped his artists with approximately 100 others to ensure maximum visibility. No other platform provides this level of exposure.
He has also raised concerns about our markup, even though we clearly state that we add $1,000 to lower priced listings to allow room for negotiation. This policy is explained in our “How to Buy” section, which he may not have reviewed. As a business, we must maintain consistent pricing practices across all listings.
We work hard to promote every piece of artwork on our site and to educate sellers about the realities of the resale market. The market has been challenging for well known reasons, but that is not something any individual seller or platform can control. We are always happy to assist sellers who value our efforts and expertise.
We cannot force buyers to purchase artwork, and we take accusations such as “scam” very seriously. Our reputation is strong, and we have been in the art business since 1983. This seller appears unfamiliar with how the resale market functions. His pieces fall into the decorative resale category rather than blue chip investment art, and unfortunately, the value of such works typically decreases after purchase — especially when acquired through high pressure environments like cruise ship auctions.
We remain available to help with listings and guidance, but it’s important for sellers to understand the market they are participating in.

I’ve had a great experience working with Robbie at Art Brokerage. She has helped me successfully sell several pieces from my collection and has been incredibly responsive throughout the entire process.

Robbie is thoughtful and knowledgeable when it comes to pricing, helping me factor in the current market environment and other considerations so listings are positioned appropriately. When offers come in, she is always supportive during my evaluation process and never applies pressure, which I truly appreciate.

Each time a piece has sold, Robbie has been on top of communication and provides clear, detailed, step-by-step guidance for packaging and shipping the artwork. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and partnership have made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. I highly recommend Robbie to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy art broker.

Self-proclaimed “confident” art brokers

After a legitimate inquiry about the authenticity of an artwork, I received a dismissive response with a vague answer, and my inquiry was closed. They simply stated that they are confident about the artwork’s authenticity, which is clearly not a proper verification. Reputable dealers typically provide provenance, expert verification, or references.

Be cautious with these self-proclaimed “confident” art brokers.

These guys are unprofessional and uninformed, and I would advise you not to list on their website. I've been an antique dealer for 25 years. And sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of paintings. These guys don't know. The difference between an oil on canvas and a print.

They will try to scam you by telling you that your oil on canvas is actually a print and then try to make you list it for less. So then they can defraud you and buy it for less, which is completely illegal. It's illegal and completely fraud is if they don't have the ability to assess what an oil on campus is or A print is then they shouldn't be in this business because they're committing fraud, trying to defraud people who own art into devaluing their products

This person, purchased a work of art at a local estate auction. He probably paid a couple of hundred dollars. We are not talking about a masterpiece here. The CEO of our Company and our listing manager both reviewed his listing. First, the seller listed it as a limited edition print, but could not provide the edition number, because there was none. Later, after much discussion, the seller changed the listing and said it was an original painting. We know that he does not know what he has. The art is framed like a poster, and is not framed like an original painting. This particular artwork and title is all over the place on Google, with several different sizes, mediums and a wide price range. We cannot tell what this art is from his amateurish photos, and he’s very upset that we just won’t list it. We think it is a reproduction of some sort, not a painting. Our staff has tried to help him, but he is nasty, insulting and abusive. We finally referred him to eBay because he doesn’t know what he has and we don’t either. He’s amgry because we won’t do what he tells us to do, and that’s not how our business works. We have to be sure of what we have because we stand behind the artwork that we list and sell. We just love it when people who know nothing about artwork, accuse our 45 year old Corporation of fraud and write these horrible reviews.

Collecting & Purchasing Fine Art

As with anyone who has collected fine art, we do it to support the culture and love of art. After collecting and investing over time, I became educated that in order for any Artist to be able to produce their works, they must have investors willing to purchase their time to produce such works of art. Equally, in order for those chosen Artists who are successful creating desired art, investors must support their journey.
Without willing and able investors, how else would artist receive the support necessary to create art, which in turn enables the public at large access to the cultural experience of the opportunity of owning, if not viewing art of our choosing.
How would we be able to visit museums and galleries, and ultimately collect fine art, if it were not for those who invest and support in the artist?
So, in essence, the Artist's success is established by a business model that typically originates with displaying their work in a Gallery who is willing to represent their work. As their work is made available for viewing, they may equally produce pieces of work for individuals, if their contract terms permit.
But without Gallerys and Musuems for those of us who admire fine art to view works of Art, how would the fine art world survive?
Speaking as a collector over a period of decades, there is not a day that I take for granted the beauty of the art that resides on my walls. It has been a passion of my life. Have ultimately found lifelong friends that share this passion as well.
What then happens as we age, and we must downsize our footprint and find a future place for our art?
Perhaps we can donate it or pass it to special loved ones. If we are in a position that we need to consider resale, what stewards are out there that will, most importantly, manage that resale in the manner in which fine art should be treated to respect its value and the investment that the collector committed to support the art culture that allows artists to exist?
I read a review of a fellow collector who stated they encountered significant medical costs and attempted to resale their fine art collection and how ArtBrokerage.com treated their imminently, unfortunate circumstances and I found it most concerning.
I inquired myself with Art Brokerage.com to better understand how they are managing their fees and appraisals of fine art resale.
I submitted 3 original fine art pieces for their review, with a genuine interest to work with them, given their apparent volume of the resale of fine art.
I was stunned at their immediate justification of why they ultimately net a value of return to the seller @ 25%! They claim this is what the market is willing to pay, when in fact, it is format in which they chose to create. Equally, they stated, "WE DO NOT PAY GALLERY PRICES" for your art.
YET, they want, require the seller to provide an appraisal and a Certificate of Authenticity. Again, so they can then use their standard model to define that the piece is worth 50% or less of the value, and they take 20-25% off of the valued appraisal and COA that the seller provided. Which by the way, the seller, as an investor of the art, paid for this service when they purchased the art.
I have given a good bit of reflection on this apparent business model of ArtBrokerage.com.
They do not staff appraisers but instead claim themselves to be appraisers of fine art while promptly and conveniently justifying their opinion, based on the SELLER PROVIDED APPRAISAL.
THEY require the seller provide an appraisal and COA! This is obviously for their benefit to have the valued documents that the seller paid for because they do NOT know value, nor invest in validating value. Instead, they then devalue the work, based on the seller provided documents, so they can quickly resale it with little to no investment in the process.
Yet, they claim they are experienced!
OBVIOUSLY experienced at SCAMMING off of the investments of sellers who purchased through educated, legitimate fine art distributors.
I appreciate that buyers are looking for deals and will go wherever they can find them. But as STEWARDS of investing in fine art, should we be supporting business entities like ArtBrokerage.com, who clearly ARE DRIVING down the value of fine art so they can make a (significant) quick buck?
You be the judge, but I think it is a very sad state of affairs when fine art is treated in such a poor manner. Should this model continue its "QUICK BUCK" success, what Artist will survive such disrespect of their work?
As a collector of fine art, I challenge everyone to give some thoughtful consideration to the culture of fine art and please consider reputable sources when purchasing. Not only for the preservation of fine art, but for the integrity that should exist in collecting and maintaining the value of fine art. My best to all!

> We appreciate the time it took for this seller to write a review. We cannot help sellers recoup their money, when they buy Art from Park West at shipboard champagne auctions and pay high retail gallery prices. This seller listed 3 small paintings and was told by us that her prices were too high for the current resale secondary market. This is a case of shooting the messenger. People do not like to be told the truth about how much cruise ship artwork is really worth for resale. Two people from our staff tried to help her post realistic resale prices. The brokers have 60 years of combined experience. This inexperienced seller does not want to hear the truth and chose to write a nasty Trust Pilot essay and to attack the reputation of our 44 year old company. We do our best to help reasonable people price their artwork at a resale price that will actually sell. We help with listing, negotiating, payment, insurance and shipping. We NEVER appraise art, we give only an OPINION of secondary market resale value. This seller is trying to sell at the Park West Appraisal price. EXPERIENCED PEOPLE KNOW BETTER. THE PW APPRAISALS ARE MEANT ONLY FOR INSURANCE. If this Park West buyer has an issue with her appraisals, or prices she paid, she should contact Park West. Her own words SHOW how INEXPERIENCED she is.
