Orba is a very funny tool. It is portable, intuitive and has a lot of possibilities at a reasonable price. Very good job to the guys from Artiphon, keep creating!

I'd give it 5 stars, but I've found it harder to use as a standalone looper than I expected. That said, hooked up to your favorite DAW, it's great.

Lots of kickstarter companies that I have supported give rewards when so many units have been sold, or, at the very least, give the opportunity for your original backers to purchase additional units or upgrades after backing ends. You on the other hand, give rewards to those willing to buy later by giving them free travel cases ??? That is the worst customer service thing that you could possibly do. I figured the folks that backed you without being able to see product would be of more importance. Thought your product was one of the most special and unique items that I have backed BUT, being Xmas, and I'm looking to spend money on gifts, you lose business by your selfishness. Shame on you

The Orba is very fun to play and experiment with. I'm still learning how to play it and mentally map the keys. The battery seems to last a long time and it's cool to be able to customize the sounds with the App.

The not-so-good was it took a long time to arrive. I ordered from the Kickstarter and the Orba was available and (presumably) shipping from their web site for a quite a while before my unit shipped. I think priority shipping should be on the Kickstarter buyers.

I watched the video series on the Artiphon site that went through the process of setting up and using the Orba music kit. It was all very clear and I was able to follow along and get my unit working in short order. The video series was very good and concise.

If you don't mind waiting for 6 months (or maybe longer) for your product, this is the place to buy. I purchased July of 2020 and still haven't seen my order as of December 2020. I'm seeing their advertising to order now in time for Christmas...but when I reached out to customer service they tell me that they can't guarantee my order before Christmas.

This company provides poor service. I can't tell if they're falsely advertising or if old orders are unimportant...either way they've burned this customer. I will be cancelling my order.

I think Artphon is an innovative and exciting company. My experience with the Orba midi has been very smooth from ordering to delivery and to set up and playing. I look forward to seeing more innovation from them. Best wishes.

The physical product seems great, but many months after receiving it the Android software promised for launch is still in Beta and is unusable. This means the product is little more than an expensive toy at the moment.

Love the instrument but development is going slow and sotware is still very basic with feature still disabled

My friend son love this instrument, he is only 4 years old. So I would really love to buy one for my own grand son and I know he would enjoy it as he loves pushing buttons.
If you are board, like to have fun, play music I suggest to get one for your self or more to play as team or family create something fun.

I like the directions Artiphon has taken. They seem genuinely interested in developing new approaches to technology in music and musical instrumentation.

The company, by this time of the review, has allready gained potential. Is working constantly to update there products and hopefully has great ideas for future products.

Artiphone's Orba is a cool MIDI Control tool with some unique abilitys. Also its nice to have it with you to start a little entertainment or record song ideas.

Great, innovative company with a positive mission and original ideas. A great group of smart people are behind their products and, despite the challenges of the pandemic and their small team, they did a tremendous job of fulfilling orders for their recent kickstarter. I look forward to buying more products from them!!
