Ya it stoped working after an hour very poorly built I tried charging it and hit the power button.....
Dead as a fish out a water.
Not even worth sending back with postage costs.
Look elsewhere great idea but needs better quality and service.
Very disappointing.

The Orba arrived quickly after I completed the order, and worked as described. The only glitch was that, when I followed the instructions to update its software, it wouldn't turn on or do anything. Fortunately, a techie responded to my message and, following her suggestions, I did get it to turn on again. She said sometimes it doesn't successfully upload the software and then goes into a "deep sleep" mode.

Being a senior person with some musical experience (guitar and woodwinds) but minimal exposure to MIDI and recording/looping, the concept of the Orba was somewhat intriguing. After reviewing Artiphon's ads, reviews and tutorials, I purchased it as a personal birthday gift. I really appreciated the way Artiphon reached out to me while waiting for delivery, further fuelling my anticipation. Also, Orbasynth was announced which peaked my interest. I received my Orba at the end of April and had few issues with learning its interface and how to connect it to my Windows PC as well as my Android tablets. I was soon laying down Drum, Bass and Chorus loops then playing Lead in real time. There is a lot to explore with the Orba, even considering some of its limitations (not being chromatic and limited to eight bars of looping). It will keep me occupied and having fun for a long time. Can't wait to show it to the grandkids. I find it much easier to compose when connected to my tablet, as I have some " finger" difficulties getting the Orba to respond quickly to button presses to erase a loop, start/stop etc. All this being said, I am absolutely delighted with the Orba and think it is a refreshing approach to making music for the fun of making music. With the Instrument 1 and Orba in mind, I'm keenly interested to see where Artiphon is going with all of this. Thank you, Artiphon, and well done!

I love this thing very easy to Handel and figure out my kid's will b on it for hours same as my self gonna buy another so we can jam together

Love the Orba! I love the idea of the instrument 1, but it wasn’t quite there yet, at least for me. Not quite as responsive as I’d like, and I was kind of hoping for more variety in terms of guitar tone. Getting a refund on the return was a breeze, and I’m really looking forward to instrument 2!

It does everything that was listed. Would be nice if they would add on more tweaks and sound capabilities with firmware updates but I can understand the limitations of the hardware but all and all a nice product. Could not stand the wait time of getting it in my hands but look where it comes from.

I love my Orba, and the support was very helpful in getting me up and running!!!! I'm mostly bedbound due to chronic illness and this is a fun way to make sure I practise a little music every day without needing a whole huge laptop and DAW set up!!

I really like the orba, I find it relaxing (others find it annoying). I've read the mannual and been practicing the functions. Many times when creating loops it seems to go crazy and a restart is needed... that could be from me over looping. I have also used it as a MIDI controller in Reaper DAW, The product is made well and has a very nice feel.

Presets and more sounds. The presets are all sound about the same the effects are differnt but core sounds are the same. I been looking into perset templates in the forums but that is a steep learning curve. You guy's need to make an easy to use preset editor and add more sounds like cowbell, bongo and giutar cords. Thanks!

I have gifted 3 Artiphones already. It's an amazing gift. They all sat in wonder and could not put it down. The capabilities of sound is beyond explainable. Best gift ever for the music minded soul.!

Still don't have my product. They say it's shipped, but it seems stuck at one location for some time now. Hard to know what's truth.

This product is well made, sound is amazing. Bought for my son, who loves to produce music, and now he can do it anywhere and anytime.

I recently purchased the Orba From Artiphon at this time especially since they were offering case free when added to your cart. Even though the case was left off the order (likely user error), upon reaching out to customer service, they are sending a case as well! It’s very nice to see a company willing to do that and I will always support a company like that. It’s a rare thing sometimes.

Super dope it just makes you play music in a way that you usually wouldn't play...kind of opens up your mind a little bit more... just a blast. Best Benjamin I've ever Spent.
