Rob was great from the outset. Explaining in layman’s terms what the types of surveys are and advised what our building contractor and pension provider would require in order to commence work.

The price for the survey was agreed at the outset with no hidden costs.

Rob arrived to site early and is a nice, polite guy that completed a thorough survey and took some samples away. Then reported back within 48 hours of the survey.

Rob found asbestos sheets and door lining in a large cupboard which used to house a warm air boiler. He arrived on time today and meticulously removed all the asbestos and vacuumed the whole cupboard. A very pleasant man who I highly recommend.

The service received from Asbestos 1 was great from first contact. Rob responded to a call late in the evening and then called me back the following day. He was prompt at attending the address, conducting a survey and the results were back in just over 24 hours. Rob felt that there was no asbestos but we wanted the test to confirm. Rob was correct and our sample came back with no trace. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob or to use him again if needed.

I had an artex ceiling in my bathroom with quite a bad, persistent mould problem. I needed to knock it down and replace it, but to do that I had to be sure there was no asbestos.

Ashwell Village Hall is a public building and it is important that the building is well maintained. This includes Health and Safety checks.
We asked Rob if he could check the building over for Asbestos. We were very please with how quickly Rob was able to attend site and to carry out the survey. Rob also went out of his way to make sure that we had little interruption to the day to day running of the building.

Rob is very knowledgeable on items that can contain asbestos in and around older houses. We arranged a time and date for Asbestos 1 to take down safely and dispose of our asbestos roof in the garden. We trusted Rob as he was local to the area and transparent on the service he could provide.

All asbestos was removed with no signs that it was ever on the roof. Extremely tidy job. Environmental forms were also all filled out.
